proportions
Just received the 36Long. They fit OK, but the zipper is 2 and 3 quarters inches long. The sewing supplier must have decided that was the most expensive part of the breech. It looks silly and very much *not* proportioned correctly.

Feels like a plastic bag.
I bought both full seat and knee patches. I do not like the material all. It feels like I’m wearing a thick plastic bag. Also if it’s slightly chilly out, the breeches feel really cold, I like the fit but material is terrible.

Weird fit
Although these seem to be made well, the fit does not work on me at all. I ordered my usual size (SmartPak and other mfr's) but these run huge in the waist. They are also quite snug in the calf. Too bad for me because I bought them on clearance so this one has a no return exclusion. I'll try to find someone at the barn who these will fit.

Back to the drawing board.
#1, the pockets are way smaller than the previous Pipers, and let's be honest, that is why I have them. So my phone can stay there while I ride, and these don't let me do that. They also had to be ridden in and washed a few times, the serging in the seam allowances in the crotch rode up so badly I almost didn't make it to the first ride. All in all, I feel betrayed because I was expecting the same old comfy, reliable Pipers.

Back to the drawing board, doesn't fit phone.
So sad the "upgrades" are downgrades. Most importantly, the back pockets are significantly smaller and can no longer hold a phone while riding. The front pockets are generous though, just not shaped to hold a phone while rider is mounted. The new material also is a bit of a sensory nightmare for me, and the serged edges of the seam allowances in the crotch makes it ride up in front. I can feel the pieces inside moving back and forth as I walk. All in all, I'm so super sad about these. It was ok while riding other than the phone thing which is my main reason for buying Pipers, but the rest of the time I was having a bit of a sensory nightmare.

Liked the fabric, not the fit
Been looking forward to trying the "new" Evolution breech. However, these miss the mark for me.
Ordered the usual size in Pipers and Hadley - yet the fit just didn't work for me. The pockets don't lie flat (see photos), more bag the normal below the knee (I have skinny calves), and they wouldn't stay up (I had to keep hitching them up, like my older streched out Pipers).
Well I'll see if I can add photos.. it says "optional 2" but doesn't let me add before submitting this review. (Strange!).

My new favorite breeches!
these breeches are awsome! the full seat is grippy but not to grippy. the color (charcoal/jade) is absolutely perfect. they are very flattering and pretty! the fit is perfect and i generally have trouble finding a good fit (5'2" and 110lbs very staight). the material is perfect for summer riding and definetly stays cleaner than most other breeches. these breeches are absolutely a must have!

Funky fit on Calf
I have an older pair of these that I love but this new pair had a very awkward, puffy sew line below the knee where the side patch pops out. The fit is much different from my older pair, right in stomach and hips and too loose on thighs and extra loose on calves. I returned them.
