Great sheet, runs large
I tried several other brands of sheets in a size 82 for my 16:3 Holsteiner gelding. He's a big boy (about 1500 pounds), and all the other 82's were too small. The Pessoa size 82 sheet is actually generous and roomy. My experience with the brand is that it runs a little large.

Very nice blanket
Nice, quality blanket. I really like the chest closure buckles and the extra Velcro patch at the chest is a nice bonus. Belly straps seem a bit long...had to tighten them up all the way, but that's okay. Love the color...got compliments from a few friends about how stylish my boy looks out in the pasture.

Not the usual Pessoa standard
I have about 7 Pessoa blankets/sheets and decided I needed this one too that was made for SmartPak. But I was disappointed.
The snaps were cheaper and are a different design, one belly band buckle was sewn back to front and there is no mesh under layer.
I did contact SmartPak, who were very gracious and told me to return it, but it’s on my mule, it’s rainy and now it’s extremely dirty, so I’ll make do and have it as a reserve’s reserve.
Note to self, check every buckle before catching the horse!

I purchased this sheet for my 17+hand Dutch Warmblood and it is the best sheet that I have ever purchased for him. The fit and features are fab! I really like the front closure.

Really wanted to love this sheet
I purchased this sheet for my 14.2 hand, 980 lb quarter horse. I really wanted to love it. The color is gorgeous (clay/teal) and the hardware looked to be good quality. However, the sheet was insanely big on her. I exchanged from my normal 76 down to a 74. The tail flap still hung several inches lower than it should have, and the belly straps were still too dangerously loose. Had to return. Perhaps the blanket 6 inches smaller than I normally get would have fit, but I'm done trying. A future warning that for your horse, this sheet may run too big! Thanks Smartpak for your awesome return policy!!

Belly Straps Too Long
Everything about this blanket is great except the belly straps. Colors are very cute, fits horses well, true to size, nice gusset; however, the belly straps are too LONG. My horses all wear a size 81 in every brand and these belly straps on the shortest length still have an 6-8 inch gap between their belly and the straps. It is just too dangerous for my horse to wear (foot could get caught), which is very sad because it fits everywhere else.

Perfect sheet for my 16.1h Paint!
I've been very happy with this sheet. My paint always has trouble fitting his blankets without rubs and this sheet was roomy enough in the shoulder while still covering his whole rear end at the same time. Great quality and there is a soft fleece piece right at this wither. One of the belly straps was sewn on twisted so that was a little awkward (and is the only reason for a 4 vs 5 star review) but it doesn't effect the functionality of the blanket, just makes adjusting that strap difficult.

Super Cute & Great Fit for Stocky Guy!
I bought this for my stocky 16.1 ottb gelding who is prone to shoulder, hip and wither rubs. I read some reviews about Pessoas having a better cut/fit for the stockier type. This blanket has an awesome wither relief.. it's bigger than just the fleece and my horse is happier when I blanket him with this one vs any other.
I got the clay/teal and I get so many compliments on it! IT IS SO CUTE! It fits him great and while I haven't had it on him much and can't comment about durability, it works for me! My guy isn't hard on blankets, though
I just bought a heavy weight version of it, knowing that it fits him well.
