smells...minty
my horse absolutely loves peppermint but I can never find them at my local grocery store. I thought that I would try a peppermint treat to save a few dollars, and minutes. first of all my horse loves these and was super keen to try them because they smell super strong, just like peppermints! the size is also perfect if you're looking for an affordable training treat because you can feed more at a time. the only problem I had with these was exactly how strong they smell, it's a bit overwhelming. overall I would recommend these to anyone who wants an affordable, small, and minty treat that could easily be used for training.

Great for teaching tricks!
I bought these a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised with how popular they are with the horses. Not only does my mare go nuts for them, but so do most of the other horses at the boarding facility! They are small and easy for horses to eat quickly, so they’re perfect for trick training.

Perfect treats
These treats are perfect for trick training, or even just because! You don't need to worry about feeding multiple of these treats because they don't have all the extra sugar most treats have. They have a strong peppermint smell and seem as though they would taste good! My guy is a picky eater, he was hesitant at first but after a few sniffs, he tried it and now LOVES it!! Since the treats are small and light weight, the 4lb bag of treats lasts me a lot longer than a typical 4-5 lb bag of treats.

perfect pocket-sized treats
These are no frills for sure, but they are small and fit nicely into my pocket to give treats while riding. Minimal dust/crumbles left behind and they don't melt like sugar cubes. My horse will eat anything but all the others in the barn seem to like them as well. They smell amazing!

Picky horse likes them, but doesn't LOVE them.
This is a great treat if you are looking to avoid sugar. My horse is a picky eater, but he always loves peppermint things so I gave these a try. He likes them a lot, but he doesn't LOVE them. A couple times I offered them he turned away (this was after eating several treats so maybe he just had enough). But usually he is very happy/eager to eat them. I love the size of them, super handy for keeping in your pocket and for training. Only downside is they do leave crumbs in your pockets, but what treats don't?

Have 1 mini who's pushing 40 and has cushings which gives her bouts of laminites.
I feel comfortable giving her these treats on occasion.
I have a horse that had a slight case of laminites from too much green grass last year.
I give him these on occasion.
They both LOVE them.

My Mares Love These Treats
