Love this product
The best leather conditioner I have found - with one treatment, leather is noticeably softer and more hydrated. Let it soak in and then rub off with a soft towel, and it gives my saddle a wonderful, subtle shine

Feels and Smells Great
Love this conditioner! Really soaks in and makes all leather feel great. It has a pleasant powdery smell too. I wouldn't use anything else after cleaning my leather.

Keeps leather soft
I bought this to replace a similar brand that smartpak doesn't carry. It has met all my needs. It keeps my tack soft and supple without leaving it oily or slippery. It smells good too! It leaves leather slightly tacky which provides great grip for those questionable rides.

This leather conditioner is the best! It keeps your leather soft and supple, not tacky. You only need a little bit at a time so the container lasts quite awhile.

The BEST Conditioner!!
This is definitely the BEST saddle conditioner out there.
It completely restored my saddle and bridle. I was using other cleaners and conditioners, but they were not doing a thing and my leather was cracking horribly.
Passier Lederbalsam COMPLETELY brought it back to life! At least 90% of the cracks disappeared with the first treatment.
My friend, who saw the saddle/bridle before couldn't believe they were the same items.
I will never use anything else again. :)

My Favorite
I've tried a lot of leather conditioners, and this product is far and away my favorite. I have a saddle with pre-treated "grippy" leather, and there are only a few conditioners that really work well on it. This product soaks in well and doesn't leave any residues. It won't stain your clothes and it smells wonderful! I use it on my reins too, and it makes them so supple and soft!

USING FOR OVER 28 YEARS
Bought my first can in 1983 in Spain. Have been using it sparingly since. It has kept all my tack wonderfully butter soft even after many years under desert conditions. Would recommend this hands down!!

I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!
This is fantastic stuff! First of all--it smells like honey, which is AMAZING! Secondly, it does an amazing job at conditioning my leather goods. I had an old, nasty leather halter, that looked beautiful after two applications of this! It does wonders for my saddle as well. I bought it new, and Lederbalsam made it all soft and buttery! :) As a plus, it also makes your saddle "sticky." Being a dressage rider, this is a great plus for a little extra security!! Great product that I'll always keep on hand!

Great Stuff
I bought the Lederbalsam a few weeks ago and have had amazing results. I left it on for only an hour on a brand spanking new saddle and it softened up considerably. After a few days I conditioned it again and left it on overnight which a lot of online reviews recommended and my brand new very stiff saddle now feels ten years old.
This stuff is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone.

Best stuff out there!
I was introduced to Lederbalsam when I paid to have an ancient parade saddle cleaned professionally. The Lederbalsam has a pleasant smell (at least, *I* like it) and soaks in quite well. If you can place your leather/saddle in a sunny location for just a little while after application, the warmth will make it soak in that much faster. Lederbalsam imparts a rich buttery feel to almost any kind of leather and brings life back to dry cracked leathers almost immediately. The longer it sits the better it works. Multiple applications over a period of time work the best.
My husband even uses it on his Ariat cowboy boots with excellent results. In fact, I had to hide the can from him since he was being quite generous with the Lederbalsam on his boots. :)

Awesome Leather Conditioner
I've tried every kind of leather conditioner out there and nothing works as well as the Passier Lederbalsam. I've had fantastic results from this product. Also, one container lasts forever because you only have to use little amounts to get fantastic results.

Good substitute
I purchased Passier Lederbalsam when I couldn't find Effax Lederbalsam easily and I needed it for an upcoming horse show. I have used Effax for years - it conditions leather and makes it a little stickier. This is a great additional perk when going in the show ring. I found the Passier product to be a good substitute for Effax. Passier lederbalsam is a little more solid and less messy but I did notice that it didn't feel quite as sticky.

Protect your investment
I was given my first jar of Lederbalsam when I bought a high end saddle over one year ago. I figured the folks that sell saddles for a living may know a thing or two about how to care for them. I love how it makes the saddle feel. I use this saddle for all my riding (shows, trails, everyday) and it has gotten sweaty, wet, dirty, you name it. The leather today feels just as good as the first day I got it. I use it on bridles too - it does a great job on them as well. I figure the time I spend using this on my leather goods protects my investment. A very nice plus - it makes my hands feel and smell nice too!

Very Nice!
Very similar to Whitmans tack conditioner---which I can't find anymore. It was also German. So glad to find this stuff. Softens immediatly and protects. I will always have this in my tack cleaning kit!

Lifesaver!
I recently bought some of this miracle-conditioner to help break my new field boots in. Within the first application, my boots had become softer and more supple than when I first bought them. Now I use it everyday on them, and they have become extremely easy to break in. Plus, I love the way it smells!
