Already put it to the test...
NOTHING builds confidence in a helmet like a good fall. The helmet did it's job and stayed where I needed it - on my head. This is a perfect schooling helmet!

Great helmet for the price!
I've had this helmet for several years now and the only "complaint" is that is it a bit too round for my long oval head. I shimmed it up with some sticky foam on the sides and I'm good to go. I love that I can adjust the dial to fit my hair up underneath, down in a ponytail, and even can wear a thin fleece headband when in cold weather. Highly recommended for a cheap and light schooling helmet. Nice enough to show in on hot days too!

Looks and feels great.
I bought this helmet a month ago. It's my first helmet because when I last rode consistently, we wore cowboy hats - not helmets! While I would love to still be wearing a cowboy(girl) hat while riding, I have to admit the helmet is more practical and protective. It fits well, the price was very reasonable, and it looks nice (nice for a helmet that is!). The customer service was excellent - I ordered two different helmets because I couldn't decide which I wanted until I tried them on. Then they were both the wrong size. I then ordered a third - a larger size of my favorite - and returned the original two. Returning was easy and the third helmet was perfect.

Perfect schooling helmet
I love this helmet for schooling. It’s lightweight, adjustable, and better fitting and more attractive than the Troxel options. I keep a backup handy for friends to use, and since it’s adjustable the medium/large works for most adults. I used to ride daily in more expensive CO or GPA helmets because I hated the cheaper ones. This Ovation changed my mind.

Great schooling helmet
I measure 7 1/8 with my hair down but about 7 1/4 with it up. I bought the M/L and it fits perfectly. I've used it for schooling for a few weeks so far and it's nice and comfortable. I forget that I'm wearing it! Since it has a dial fit I can adjust slightly based on how big my hair decides it wants to be that day (I have shorter but thick curly Latina hair). My only complaint is that when I get it fitting my face, which is pretty small since I'm 4'11, I have a ton of the chin strap left over. I kind of just wrap it into itself and deal with it. For the price point there had to be something that wasn't perfect and I'm willing to deal with that! I definitely wouldn't wear this to a show but it's nice to have something cheap and well-fitting for lessons so I know my big noggin is protected and I won't hurt my bank account if I fall and have to replace it.

OK helmet
I'm a huge Ovation fan, and it was time to replace my older Schooler one this year. I got it during the "helmet month" sale for around $40, and I have to admit if I paid anymore than that, I would have sent it back. Its not a bad helmet, but it certainly isn't the quality of Ovation I am used to. Seems like they have changed some stuff as it is NOT the same Schooler helmet I purchased 5 years ago. Plastic quality seems a lot less durable, cheaper even. I do use it, but I would purchase a different brand or line next time. However, for the price, I can't complain too much considering it has the dial in the back for adjustment, and its still stylish.

I've used this particular helmet for YEARS now. It fits my head well, the dial is super convenient, it's pretty well ventilated, and it looks fine in the show ring! And my old one held up forever.

A Gift for a young lady
I bought this for a young lady that was in need of a good fitting helmet, this was our second one to try, the first was a Troxel that was ok, it fit her oval head, but sat too low down around her forehead and ears. This one sat perfectly and did not apply pressure to he front of her head, which should give her relief from headaches she gets from other helmets. I am hoping it continues to be comfortable for her.

I bought this helmet a while back, and it is still in great condition! This is perfect for newer riders who aren't quite ready to spend hundreds on a helmet. I have always had this helmet since I started (just different sizes) and I still use it when I am not in the mood for my samshield. Love this helmet for newer riders or as a back up helmet!

I bought this helmet in a XS/SM as that is what I normally get with ovation. BAD CHOICE. This helmet runs extremely small as though it was made for kids and has pressure points on your temples which gives you a headache within minutes. I returned and it got the next size up, it was still too small! Good quality poor fitting

Great helmet for begginers
I bought this helmet a few months ago, I really liked!!!!, although it seems fragile, it is not as resistant as other helmets of the brand more expensive, but for the price that is very cheap it makes so very good compared to the same price in other brands.

I bought this helmet to replace my fiance's old helmet that kept falling in front of his eyes and blocking his view when riding.

All around amazing
I bought this helmet a year ago and it was my first helmet that was my own. It is comfortable, but if you are extremely sensitive to helmets, this isn't for you. It is very adjustable which is helpful when styling your hair differently. Haven't fallen in it yet. Also comes with a bag which is good for storage to protect thew inside.
