Great half pad
Bought to try and help saddle fit with a not so perfect fit saddle but for that a shimmable pad would be better as the ogilvy is not firm enough to really change the fit. Got a new saddle and now love the ogilvy, horse seems happy in it and gives just enough extra padding. Like that it molds to the horse and really stays in place. Also wearing well

Very Nice!
This is by far the nicest half-pad I've ever used! The memory foam makes such a difference, and the pad stays in place just fine. I just wish SmartPak would sell this pad in the sizes Ogilvy offers, instead of just the medium size.

Game Changer!!!!
My young horse is still growing and none of my saddles fit him correctly, I didnt feel that I wanted to buy him his own saddle until he’s fully mature, and was looking for a solution to this problem and have tried several half pads, with no real success. This pad has changed my life. He’s a whole different horse. And I definitely get some low back relief myself! Can not attest to the durability yet at this point but it does what it advertises. Worth every penny!!!!!!! Happy Horse, happy rider!!!!!!

The best!!
I have always loved Ogilvy products, I can really feel the difference on both my back and the horse's back! The ability to customize what you buy and the many color/style options they offer are a perk as well. I only wish their half pads were a bit less expensive so more people could have the opportunity to own one, but you are paying for the quality and it really shows. Not my first Ogilvy purchase and certainly won't be my last! :)

Best half pad I've ever had
I used to be a die-hard fan of sheepskin half pads until I tried an Ogilvy half pad. It provides wonderful shock-absorption (for both horse and rider), relieves pressure points, and stays off the withers without the bulk of sheepskin.
I decided to try the Ogilvy half pads when I got a new horse who was still gaining weight and muscle and changing too much to invest in a new saddle right away. My sheepskin pad just wasn't cutting it or providing enough relief with my mediocre-fitting saddle. We've been using the Ogilvy half pad for about 6 months now and it's helped my horse stay comfortable with his changing topline and increased work load. I'll be looking for a new saddle soon but I'll likely keep using the Ogilvy for the comfort of us both.

Omg... heaven
I love this pad, it helps every horse I have and I have 7 very different horses! I wish I would have bought this sooner! Got one to match my farms colors just wish I would have personalized it now. But it looks great with all my custom pads! I have a ton of half pads and this one takes the cake!

I know this pas is suppose to be great for the horses back and the riders back but I like to feel my horses muscles through my seat. I ride in a flat Butet so I can feel my horse. I don't have the same seat communication with this pillowy pad. But I use it.
My saddle at the moment needs new panels and I want to keep my horse as comfortable as possible so I bought this.

Amazing Pad!!
I have been through several pads and a friend of mine at barn let me borrow hers. I loved it and can straight home and ordered it. This pad makes my saddle feel very secure and the ride is more comfortable. I know my horse loves it as well.

Has really helped
I bought this to correct some saddle fit problems I was having with one of my mares. This pad cured the problem as other reviews said it would. It is really expensive for a pad, but compared to buying a new saddle it was well worth the money.

exactly what I was looking for
I injured my back in a fall about 6 months ago and had heard about the benefits of Ogilvy for the riders back and I can definitely tell a difference in my pain level during a ride. it also allows me to sit deeper in my saddle with the added shock absorbson. the memory foam compacts down once you get on and really keeps the saddle in place. overall I absolutely LOVE this pad and would recommend it to anyone

Awesome half pad!
I bought this pad about a month ago after my other half pad ripped in the wash and I love it! At first I was worried that it would be too bulky but it shrinks right down. The only thing is that it does collect a lot of dirt but the cover removes easily and is super easy to wash!

I am in love!
I bought this pad as my saddle had issues with slipping back as well as it was bridging(I got it re-flocked but it made no difference) I was suggested this pad from a saddle fitter as we had tried 15 saddles with no success. At first I was skeptical as it was a big trend and many said it just "looks pretty". However I tried a friends and my horse was not throwing his head and felt more relaxed. I checked my saddle at the end of my jumping lesson and it had not moved an inch. This pad has made a huge difference and I would recommend it to anyone!

Soft and moldable!
I bought this pad to fit different horses backs. I have a horse rescue and need to move from one horse the the next with my favorite saddle. The weather has been terrible here, so not much riding but I did clean groom up a few and sat in it. Felt great to me. I did have to get used to a little more height. But live the pad! And I think the horses did too.:)

Good cushion and good looking!
I have a very broad-backed draft cross and my saddle is older and not so broad in the seat. My felt pad was tired and flat so I wanted to try this for it's cushion properties to keep my guy as comfortable as possible. He is moving nicely as usual and I notice my lower back is staying soft and not being jarred. I bought the brown color which blends nicely with my saddle and I'm happy with the fact that you can take the cover off to wash. This product is expensive but is well made, attractive and above all, comfortable for horse and rider!

Skeptic turned believer!
I bought this after doing tons of research for half pads. I was extremely skeptic of these pads seeing as they seem like such a "fad"... I am such a believer and I am extremely happy with this decision. I feel such a difference in my riding but also how comfortable my horse feels! I know it is expensive, but it is worth it. I certainly will be buying more from Ogilvy in the future!

High quality product
The company that made my horse his semi-custom saddle had recommended I purchase this product, to help with saddle fit. My WB cross has very large shoulders and gets a lot of movement of the saddle when he works. Due to the cost, I had been holding off. I am very happy I decided to go ahead and spend the money. A very well-made, quality product that looks and has been functioning like it will hold up very well over the long term. I feel it has helped with my overall saddle fit on my horse, and it certainly feels very comfortable to ride in. I went with the chocolate color to avoid dirt showing from the day to day usage. Since it's working out well, I can see purchasing a white for showing, or a cover if it's available.

I use this pad on my welaptop muscled TB and the babies that are still developing. Makes saddle fit so much easier.
Got the white but it does pick up dirt quickly. Whish the covers were sold separately
