Overview
The Ogilvy Baby Pad is the perfect training pad... also used in the Grand Prix ring! Short, square and so stable that it doesn't even need any straps to stay in place. This little pad carries all the characteristics of the Ogilvy pads: very ergonomic, with its unique V-top shape, it reduces friction at the withers and on the back, and sets the pad firmly at the base of the withers. Made of resistant poly cotton twill, protected with stain resistance on the outside, and a special quick-dry anti-bacterial/anti-fungal brushed poly on the inside. No foam in the inner section: it has been replaced by high performance hollow core fibre that wicks away the moisture from your horse and dries quickly after use. Maximum breathability, moisture wicking V-Shape: special protection for the withers and the back. Stain resistant, Anti-microbial, and anti-fungal. Quick dry. This pad comes standard with the binding only.

Favorite Baby Pad
I've been using these pads for over year and have accumulated a few as they are my favorite. They are thicker than a traditional baby pad with a super soft lining that my gelding LOVES. The cut by the withers is perfect for high-withered horses that tend to be subject to pads pressing down. These are the only pads I use now. A bit pricey for a saddle pad, but I find them to be worth the investment for the comfort of my horse. Smartpak also does a fabulous job embroidering them.

Best Baby Pad
By far this is the best baby pad on the market! It's the perfect weight, light enough for summer riding, but provides enough substance so the pad remains in place during your ride. The material used on the underside also really helps to wick moisture away and the V top shape ensures that the pad isn't pulling against your
horse's withers. Washes well and keeps it's shape. Can't recommend it enough! Wish SmartPak would carry the baby pads in solid colors!

Amazing Pad!
Nothing like a typical baby pad. It fits my horse so well and hasn't lost its' shape! They are the only pads I ever use now. It has no straps whatsoever but I haven't had any problems with it. Can't wait for SmartPak to start carrying more colors, hopefully!

This is the most beautiful baby pad! The inside is so soft and does a great job wicking. The fit is really nice--good wither clearance and fits my 17hh Thoroughbred and 16.5" Amerigo saddles great!

Fantastic pad
I had been lusting after these pads for over a year and finally bought one. They are extremely well made, every stitch is perfect and they are made from very high quality materials. I have washed mind twice and other than a small stain from a new girth, it comes clean every time. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Great Pad!
I haven't had the pad long so i can't comment on how it holds up but it stays put and fits my 18" long flap saddle (which most "baby pads" do not). If it holds up I'll be getting some more. Definitely thicker than most baby pads but my sensitive-backed horse seems happy in it and a thin line.

I bought this a month ago and it's awesome! I will say, avoid getting the white, it is a dust magnet. But I'm excited to order one in black! I was worried since it doesn't have girth loops, but I experienced no slippage so it wasn't an issue.

Love this pad!
I use this pad under my Ogilvy memory foam pad and I love it! Even though it doesn't have billet or girth straps, it stays in place throughout the duration of my ride. I love the soft microfiber feel it gives my horse. Being contoured is a plus!

GREAT Pad But Rubs A Bit on Short Backed Pony
So I love this pad and really all ogilvy products. The contouring is fabulous, the durability and quality top notch and 2 out of 3 of our horses love it. Well, in truth all 3 seem to love it but I had to stop using it on my 14.1 hand pony as the combination of a short back and lots of lateral swing caused the pad to rub the hair. It didn't rub it off or make him sore - but it did leave bristly hair underneath due to the grippier texture of the underside material. I would absolutely recommend this saddle pad (WELL worth the price) for the majority of horses...all but the short-backed and swingy backed ones! Our other 2 horses have no rubs from ogilvy pads.

Best wither relief; no slip
These are the only pads I use now. The combination of great wither relief and anti-slip backing are unparalleled. They are just the right size, not too thick but not too thin. And they wash up great time and time again. Ogilvy makes the highest quality products, and this may be most classic piece in their lineup.

best baby pad i own!
it has been really difficult to find a baby pad, or any pad that does not slip on my horse. This pad does the trick! it has soooo much wither releif and the back is very contoured! and it looks great too! i just ordered the Ogilvy half pad, i cant wait for it to come in!

Perfect pad!
I've been using ogilvy products for about 2 years and they are one of the best! I use the baby pads on a daily basis and for showing. The underside has a great texture type material to prevent slipping and they wash clean all the time with just regular detergent.

Holds up well and washes great!
I purchased this pad back in April to see what all the hype was about before I purchased a half pad. As others have stated, it has much more structure than an average baby pad and honestly, is as thick as some normal saddle pads. What impressed me and brought me back was that it washes SO WELL. Almost every single spot or stain came out and the pad did not look faded (I purchased one with trim, piping and a monogram). Will be buying more!

Great product!
I was having trouble with saddle pads getting pushed down on my OTTB's withers as soon as I put weight in the saddle, even when I pulled it up between the saddle panels. This pad has wonderful clearance due to the special shape and never rubs in any place down the spine. And this it not your normal baby pad, it's as thick as a standard saddle pad, just without the straps. The pad does not slide under the saddle either. I loved the fit so much that I bought another one so that I have an extra when one is being cleaned, would like an additional pad for showing as well. The only fault is that it says that it's stain resistant but it dirties just as fast as any other white pad.

Best Baby Pad Ever!!!
I absolutely love this baby pad! It has much more structure than a traditional baby pad and is perfect by itself or with a half pad if necessary. It doesn't have girth loops but because of the material underneath and the v-shaped top for the withers, it stays put for the whole ride. In addition smartpak did an amazing job with the monogram! In addition this pad is the most comfortable for the horse! Highly recommend!!

These have more structure than the average baby pad, which is great!. They don't bunch or move under the saddle. Also, I have a horse with high withers, so the dramatic wither shaping is perfect for horses with those shark fin withers.

Thicker than other baby pads - great pad!!
My baby pads are only about 2 years old but still look just as nice as the day I bought them. All are black with different trim colors and they have not faded. The corners do not roll even after multiple washings. I love that these baby pads are not extremely flimsy like other brands - they are substance to them and are a great quality baby pad. I use my Ogilvy pads just about every ride and always recommend them when people ask about them. Can't say enough great things about the quality of these pads!
