Only cookies my horse will eat!
I bought these to try due to the price and finding out my mare was older and not she spits out or refuses to eat any other horse cookie offered to her! Only one i will ever spend money on for her!

Even my chubby pony would not eat these...
I bought these hoping they would be a nice snack and supplement for our senior pony and senior warm blood. Both horses actually spit them out! And the chubby pony will eat just about anything offered to him. They do no good if the horse won't eat them.

I can't even give them away!!
My horses snorted at them and spit them out. So I asked a friend if her horse could eat them she said her horse did the same thing. She too was stuck with a full bag nobody wanted.

Great snack - all my horses love them!
These easy to eat snacks are a big favorite at our barn!! My pony and all 3 horses are big fans. (Note that one of the questions posted asks about serving size; the answer said '8 oz., or about 48 cookies?? I believe that is supposed to say 8 (EIGHT) cookies, not 48). Anyway, they smell so good I'm tempted to try one!

My three horses are in love!
I have two rescue horses and one rescue pony that I've adopted. My one chestnut mare had really horrible feet due to too much sugar. I wanted to find a treat that I could give her that had extra biotin and low carbs. So I literally searched for years and found nothing. So about a month or two ago I was in Tractor Supply and I found these. Well all three of them live it! They are all about 20 yrs old and my black gelding thoroughbred was having trouble with his feet too. So I give them to him as well. He is my hard keeper. So when I go out to feed him dinner he knows I always have Snax on me. So he sticks his big ole black nose in my pockets in my coat to find them. It's about time someone came out with a treat for seniors who don't have all their teeth and need extra biotin for their hooves. THANK YOU!

Great treat, but....
Unfortunately, my 20 year old horse will not eat these. He spits them out, and curls his upper lip, lol! He is pretty picky, but typically likes treats. However, this one was a failure.

Wonderful treat
My aged "rescue" mare is missing quite a few teeth from past neglect. She has a condition called choke & per her Vet cannot have treats except your Senior Snax. They are easy for her to chew, healthy & she loves them.
She is the LOVE of my life & I would do anything for her so THANK YOU for making a "treat" she can have & enjoy.

My 23 year old loves them & I love the joint help!

Best treats for seniors
We have a senior horse at the barn who can't have any "regular" treats due to his digestive tract and teeth but he loves these. And my mare who is 19 and allergic to carrots loves these. They're easy for her to chew, digest and she doesn't choke (she loves to eat treats so fast that she doesn't chew them). She's been a lot more relaxed but has the same energy level (which is very high for her age). And she always asks for these. This price is way cheaper than my tack store/feed store and will continue buying.

Rocky loves these!
He gets one in his breakfast every day with his supplements. My barn owner at Celestial Farm reported one day when I'd forgotten it that he nosed through his grain looking for it and when it wasn't there he picked his head up and looked at her as if to say "hey what's going on?" Clearly he enjoys them!

Im surprised by the mixed reviews, my senior horse gobbles these up and I like that they are small (less than an inch diameter). Big treats he tries to inhale, these are small and give me peace of mind. They smell good and I like knowing they are marginally healthy :)

These are the only treats I buy. The way I see it is, if I can give something somewhat healthy and my horse doesnt know any different, Im going to. Seeing as my mare has some joint issues, I figure these certinly dont hurt. I also routinely feed these to the other horses in th barn, randing from 12 to 36. All of them eat them and none have an issue chuing them. For me, I love them. Plus, you cant beat the price.

My horses will not eat these
I own three horses, none of them are fussy and two out of three will not eat these treats. Tossed in with their meal they will not even eat their meal, as soon as I remove the treat they eat the meal.
They are a very hard treat so if your senior has teeth issues this is probably not the right treat.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT
I use this for my 20 year old gelding who loves treats. Took him off all forms of human treats (peanuts, peppermints, sugar, etc.) and use these for training. He even looks them in my pockets. I highly recommend this product. Only negative is that they don't come in a bigger bag.
