Great treats!
My horses really like these treats and I love that they don’t have sugar in them. They are small and great for training.

Love the treats, hate that 1/4 of bag is powder!
I have given these treats to my horses for years and they love them. I like that they are small and work great for training. Over the past few months, the bags have had a very large amount of powder. I have to sift for treats once the bag reaches the 1/2 way mark and about 1/4 of the bag is 100% powder! Such a waste and a huge disappointment! This has been son issue with the last 5 bags (anise) so it's more than just one bad bag. Beware, the treats are great bit the powder is awful!

My pony loves these! Low sugar is a plus but they do have a very strong apple smell.

Horse Enjoys
My horse enjoys the treats and she's picky about flavors. The apple scent is rather strong.

Hit or miss
They are always sealed good but you never know if you’re gonna get a molded bag or a good bag

Equines Loved Their Treats
I bought this to treat my equines (horse, pony, and mini-mule) and they loved this. Never have any problem getting them out of the pasture when I call them now. Even the dogs loves them.

Great when they aren't too hard
I've been buying these for a year or two for my gelding with insulin resistance. He thinks they are yummy and my other horse does too. Usually they aren't too hard, even for his old man teeth. But my last batch was super hard. I was struggling to even break them for him, and finally ended up cutting my fingers on the edge of a treat when my hand slipped trying to break one in half. I'm just adding them to his soaked feed now. I don't think I'll order them again because I don't know how hard they'll be. Disappointing.

For the love of God do NOT FEED THESE TREATS!!
I bought these treats for my horse and mule to try for the first time. The second day I had these treats my mule choked! Thank God I was there when it happened. Had to hand walk for an hour before the vet got there. After what seemed like forever, she finally was able to pass the tube and break up the blockage. After looking at the contents, she told me the blockage looked like beet pulp material. I told her that the only thing I fed the mule was some of the treats, and when I showed her the bag she said that these treats are notorious for causing choke! She just did a lecture at URI College on choke and used these treats specifically as one of the causes! Do not feed these treats unless you want an emergency visit with your vet for choking

My horse loves these!!
I bought these for my older chincoteague and she loves them! They're great for young and old horses, as i have all my horses on low sugar diets. They smell great and are a good size to keep in your pocket, they are not too big or too small.

My horse liked it
My horse liked this snack, smelled wonderful and great to carry in my pocket. However, would be even better if it was a little bigger. Some of the pieces had broken down to less then half inch, so sometimes had to give him 2 or 3 at a time. Would recommend.

My ponies love them!
I bought these treats in the apple flavor and they were an instant hit! The aroma is enticing and I feel comfortable feeding them to my pleasingly plump Welsh mare.

Horses love them!
I own a horse rescue. Many of the horses arrive with health issues as well as traumatized fear. Love, care, gentle kindness along with offering these treats helps show them not all humans are bad. I can give these treats without worry of raising their insulin levels. I am a strong believer that all horses should be fed a low nsc diet and this is especially true for these horses that have come from such stressful conditions. I can even give these treats to horses with dental issues or use them to feed with medications by soaking them in hot water first.

finally - a snack for pudgy mini donkeys!
My donkeys love them, I love them as i can keep them in my pocket for training incentives. Since mini donkeys have a propensity to being FAT (!) these treats are really appreciated!

Great taste...my guy loves them..but...
I looked long and hard for low sugar treats for my percheron...he's a cushings horse and I really have to watch his diet. These treats are a perfect blend and taste great. The ONLY problem with them is that they are hard...my horse cannot chew them (he's 25). I wish Manna Pro would make these in a softer version for older horses.

Yum
I purchase the apple flavor. Both of my horses love the treats! I had to return a bag because they smelled moldy. The last bag I could not finish using because they became moldy.

My go to treats
I was so happy when I realized Smartpak carries these treats. These are my go-to brand to feed my horses due to how healthy they are. I have 2 horses with metabolic issues, so these are the perfect snacks for them.

Molded in less than 2 months
I was so happy to find these for my metabolic pony. Imagine my surprise a couple of days ago to find a thin white fuzz over the ends and on some of the sides. They’ve been kept sealed in my tack room which is not air conditioned but enclosed with a concrete floor a dehumidifier. The retailer will not replace or refund because I didn’t store them in a dry cool place. A dehumidified tack room with an average of 70-75 isn’t cool or dry enough??? These should have a warning label to be stored in the FRIDGE.

great low sugar option
my three mares do not have metabolic issues but I don't like cramming them full of sugar anyway. The Carrot and Anise flavor is their favorite.

Choke
First and last time with these treats. 2 of 3 horses almost choked. Per our vet, we had to flush with water to dislodge the stuck pieces. Fortunately this worked. I think the small size and hard consistency are a problem.
I have fed other Manna Pro horse treats and chicken products with no problem.

upset my horse's stomach
I have a horse that has become pudgy in his retired years. I thought a low sugar treat would be better for the times I go visit him. Unfortunately they upset his stomach to the point of pawing and rolling. Back to peppermints for him.
