Mattes pads are designed to be form fitting to reduce pressure points and distribute the rider’s weight evenly. All Mattes pads incorporate a high wither with an anatomically correct curvature to prevent pinching or rubbing in the gullet area of the saddle. The pommel area on every Mattes pad is overlapped with sheepskin to ensure the pad stays in place and does not shift or slide. Use the Mattes Half Pad with your existing pad and secure the fit with self-Velcro closures.
