For years I wanted one of these. I got mine today. I bought it now because I just got a new mare and discovered that she just doesn't like a bit, who could blame her, and I rode her in a rope halter and reins so I bought the Limited Edition Dr Cooks leather bridle and reins. I haven't used it yet, hopefully tomorrow, but she rode so well in the halter and reins I have no doubt that she will be perfect in her new setup. It's a beautiful bridle and I can't wait to use it and I'm considering buying another one to use on my other horses. I have 15 horses and a few I am in the middle of training. Anyway I love my new bridle.

Beautiful bridle with clear instructions
I bought this because it's approved for Western Dressage. It's great quality and the step-by-step instructions were clutch ;). Fast shipping with great updates. Very happy.

Great Birdle!
I bought this as a gift for my wife and she loves it! Beautifully crafted, well made, and the large one adjust down to a 15h mare and up to a 16+h gelding.

Works great
My horse responds well and appears to like it better then the S-hack I was using. Very nice leather and well put together. I've seen some reviews saying it doesn't give relief, ie, the reins don't loosen upon release. I have watched for this and not seen any problems - straps underneath release as designed. I could see where if you are using reins with heavy snaps and buckles it might. But after six rides, two hours each, have not had any problem. Crossing water, steep hills, moving cattle, walk, trot, canter. I bought the reins and breast collar to go with it. Very pleased with all three items.

Excellent Quality!
I purchased this headstall about a month ago and have used it several times since. The quality is top notch and it is beautiful! This is my second Dr. Cooks headstall, and if you're looking for a bitlss option this is definitely one to try. My mares are total opposites as far as movement and personality goes. One is a stocky paint mare and the other is a Rocky Mountain. Both work very well in this set up. Ive owned and used my first Dr. Cook now for several years and its still in excellent shape, now I've added a second to my collection and it will see many miles as well.

Gorgeous bridle!
This was a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday. I have wanted a Dr.Cooks bridle for some time for my young mare. It looks beautiful on her and fits great.
