Why We Love This
Lighthoof Mud Management Panels eliminate mud by supporting a layer of compacted gravel for your horse to walk on. The uniquely flexible properties of the Lighthoof cells are able to handle bumps, posts, slopes, and undulations without sinking or sagging. Every panel covers a 6' x 12' area, and 40 zip-tie connectors are included with every panel to join them at the seams for larger areas. Conversely, the panels are able to be trimmed with scissors for a perfect fit. Sized to line up with standard 12 × 12 stalls, Lighthoof is a great way to prevent mud or erosion outside stall doors and in stall runs. Heavy use dry lots and paddock areas benefit the most from Lighthoof's ground support abilities. The panels are also great for in-gate areas and hold up to trucks and tractors as well as hoof traffic.

Installation information:
Gravel selection is key to the success of your Lighthoof project. Lighthoof requires a small, angular crushed stone with fines which compacts well. Ideal gravel is 3/8" minus (1/4" - 1/2" minus is appropriate). DO NOT USE SAND OR PEA GRAVEL. For a standard installation 1.5 - 1.75 cubic yards of gravel is required per panel.
