Nice bit
I’m glad I bought this bit and my horse seems to like it. I was looking for something more gentle for my horse but he still responds well. The bit is good quality and has a nice weight to it.

Too big
Nice bit, but it was too big. Need a smaller size and it’s not available.

Nice quiet working horse
Great price, great function and my horse who was fiddling constantly on his copper roller snaffle bit now works much more quietly. Plan to buy for my other geldings.

Very light, love!
My Warmblood dressage horse responded very well to this bit, I think the lightness of it really helps with comfort. I definetly recommend this for a horse who likes something lighter!

Nice
Nice quality bit, especially for the price. I got it because I felt my D-ring interfered too much with my horse’s Micklem. It fits much nicer with the eggbutt and you can’t go wrong with a French link!

Fits my Arab
My 5 yr. old Arab gelding has a very narrow mouth. He does not have much room in his palate for a bit that is thick. He appears to like this bit and responds well. He does not play with it as much as the link with the lozenge in the center.

Outstanding!!
Moved my mare from single joint O-ring to this one and it has made a real difference. The old bit had copper inlays, but this one wo/copper keeps her mouth much more moist, even frothy, and she is more relaxed; no period of adjustment, she took to it right away. My trainer really likes it too.

I got this for a great price
We switched my horse to this French link style a while ago and she loves it. She has a low pallet, and seems very comfortable in this. The 5 1/2 I have in the Albacon is a little to big for her, and this is one of the only manufacturers that makes a 5 1/4. It is a very nice product.

Nice bit but not for my pony
This is a well made bit and extremely mild for sensitive horses. My pony didn't like it as much as her jp korsteel copper link bit, but another horse in the barn absolutely loved it!

Nicely made, works well with my green horse!
I bought this a month ago and my horse is reacting well! He was hard to bit, and would never stop chewing on other types but he is very comfortable in it.

Love how soft it is on the horses mouth!
I bought this bit for my 11 year old Arabian. She absolutely loves it and accepts pressure. Every bit before this one she tried to avoid contact with. Great with horses that have soft mouths!

My horse LOVES this bit!
I initially put my horse in a traditional egg but snaffle but I wasn't having success with it. I needed something a little bit stronger without overbitting. I read up on the french link snaffle and decided to give it a try. Within the first 5-10 minutes of riding with the french link I could tell a major difference in my horse. He was much quieter, more supple and responsive to my aids. He works well in this bit on the flat and over fences.

Good looking, gentle bit
I have a dee ring single-jointed copper roller snaffle bit that I have used on my gelding since he was 4. He is very mouthy and reaches for that bit whenever I bring it out. He also has a hard time letting it go after a ride. He loves moving the rollers in his mouth. The first reason I decided to change is that he has been in the same bit for over 14 years and the copper is pitted and squeaky from his constant chewing. It gets pretty loud when he is waiting to jump in group lessons. The second reason, I decided it was time for a change is that we are working more on our flatwork and really coming on the bit. I was thinking of trying a loose ring but didn't want to shock him and thought the lateral help of the eggbutt was still there, albeit a little less than the dee ring he previously had. Can a horse come on the bit with the other bit, sure! I just really love the look of loose rings but don't was his lips getting pinched and those bit guards look nasty imo (though I really respect those who use them instead of letting their horse get pinched). So was the bit change super necessary? Probably not. However, my guy is laid back and does ok with change (as long as it's not to something that is very harsh/unfair). I think this bit looks good, is priced right (who the heck needs a $200 bit seriously-though those herm springer aurigan ones do look gorgeous) and since it is very gentle and sits on the tongue fairly flat, my horse seems to love it. He rounds better (though that could be training too) and takes the bit just as nicely as the last, which really surprised me since it does not have the sweet copper taste nor the rollers. Now his other bit it on my lamp stand as decoration (just in case he decides he doesn't like this bit anymore and reminds me of my boy even when I'm not at the barn!)... only a horse person would use that as decoration lol... my hubby thinks it's silly.

Amazing bit!
I recently started using this bit and love it. My horse hasn't had a bit in her mouth in years and this was the first bit I used. She responded surprisingly very well to this bit and showed no issues. I highly recommend this bit even to green horses (in my case) or any horse for that matter.

Nice weight and quality
Bought this for a green mare that didn't seem happy in a snaffle. She is much happier with the French link.

Well made
As per my trainers suggestion I wanted to switch from a full cheek to an eggbutt so my TB wouldn't rely/ lean so heavily on the reins as aides but rather respond more to my legs. I was using a Dr. Bristol before but couldn't find one with eggbutts that was the proper size so I decided to give this French bit a try. I chose a less expensive brand since I wasn't sure whether or not the bit would work for my horse. First off, the package arrived in a very timely manner and just as promised. The items were packaged nicely and clearly labelled. The bit looks to be well made and of nice quality especially for the price. My horse took nicely to it and it fit his mouth perfectly. I have used it for a few weeks now, ride at least 4 times a week and the bit looks brand new without any signs of wear or discoloration. Most importantly it seems to accomplish the intended purpose nicely while at the same time being softer on his mouth.

Love this bit for my OTTB!!
I have tried multiple bits on my 5 year old off the track thoroughbred, and this is by far my favorite. I wanted something simple and mild but a tiny bit more than a single jointed snaffle. First ride in this and I loved it!

Nice bit!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have used it 3 times. My horse seemed to like it. He stopped throwing his head and was more focused on what he was being asked to do instead of focusing on what was in his mouth.

Typical excellent Korsteel quality
As usual with Korsteel, a well-made bit without rough edges and exactly as advertised. And not an exorbitant price.

Happy horse = happy owner!
I purchased this snaffle for my mare, who has a history of strong abuse and an extremely sensitive mouth. I decided on the French-link so that I did not have to worry about a regular snaffle jabbing the roof of her mouth. She accepts it with no complaints! It fits well (I bought the 5", and it seems pretty standard, so you shouldn't have to worry about sizing up or down), is well-made, and a very stylish bit for the price. My girl is happy, so I am happy! :)
