Prefer open crown
Wish they still made the open crown. Easier for horses who do not like their ears being touched. Bring back the previous style!

Best fly mask ever! Never had a fly mask that a horse couldn't get off and destroy until I bought this. And the UV protection is great for her eye problems.

Uviator CatchMask
I bought this some time ago but just pulled it out of the packaging. I am not going to put this on my horse due to the extremely stiff and sharp edges where you would attach a lead rope. It would have my TB rubbed raw and bleeding by the end of the day. It is a lot of money to spend on a mask that I threw in the trash. I didn’t even want to donate it to The Equine Rescue. This was an expensive live and learn lesson. Kensington quality control needs to learn how to do their job. This is the second one a purchased and BOTH had very sharp edges.

Excellent UV protection and features
I took in a neglected 30 year old Arabian with ERU. I need to treat her and lead her around frequently. It is great that this mask has a place to hook the lead shank. Great fit and seems very durable.

Well made!
I bought this a year ago for my QH with an eye sensitivity. It fits him WONDERFULLY and is very comfy. Has never come off while rolling and has been the BEST quality - ZERO damage even after daily/year round use. HIGHLY recommend.

Very durable and great UV protection!
These are the only type and brand of fly mask that I purchased for my Arabian geldings in over 3 years. We move from the Midwest to Florida each year and the masks get almost year round use. They take a lot of rubbing on trees and hold up really well. I also like the catch mask feature. I do see some wear spots on the bridge of their noses so taking the masks off at night and then just for a windy day here and there is helpful. There was a shortage of this material early in the pandemic and the masks were on back order. Now when I see them, I make sure I purchase some for reserve.

Perfect
I purchased this for my horse who has recurrent eye issues and needs to be protected from the sun. It is very well constructed, has a nice comfortable fit, and after over a month of daily wear is holding up great!

Very good quality and lovely color!
I bought this about 3 months ago and it's held up remarkably! After reading the size chart and measuring my horse, I purchased the (L) average horse size for my large Arab. It is a perfect fit. It's good quality without any rips or tears so far. I don't use the halter loop and it's slightly annoying to line up the Velcro, but not a problem. The best part is no rub marks anywhere on my horses face! I recommend to follow the size chart for fit. I just love this fly mask!

Didn’t last
Only a few months old. Ripped on both sides, not worth the high price tag!

Finally a Good Mask!
I have a Thoroughbred who needs eye protection because she has Equine Recurrent Uveitis. I was unable to find a durable fly mask that was also dark enough to block out UV rays until I found this one. After an entire summer and winter of use, the mask is still in decent condition.
Usually my horse fits into cob size halters but when I bought this fly mask a year ago the cob size was too small only because this fly mask is designed so that the velcro fully overlaps itself and then can be used as a halter. I was still able to use the fly mask but couldn't use the halter feature. My only recommendation is buy a size up or measure your horse to make sure you buy the right fit because this is a good mask!
