Designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, Textilene® fabrics maintain their vibrant color and are mildew resistant. The woven mesh fabric is air permeable and is non-heat transferring making it the perfect choice for summer time cooling and it blocks up to 73% of harmful UV rays. Features Stay-Up technology, a unique plastic stay system under the trim that keeps the boots upright and in place on the leg, even when a horse stomps their foot. Cause a reaction.
My horse has had the same Kensington flymask for 4 years, with no issues. Decided to try the flyboots this year, however, after wearing them he developed a "contact reaction" and his front legs swelled up - *huge* edema. I'm not sure if something was changed in the way the material is made or . . ?
They also leave small rubs (one spot on each fetlock).
Let the rubs heal and washed the boots. My horse has been wearing them for limited amounts of time for a week now and seems to be doing ok.
Boots stay up and look great.

Pretty decent fly boots
These boots are the better of the ones I have tried. They stay up well as long as you put them on nice and snug, but be sure to check the legs daily for rub marks. The only boots I like better than these are the Shoo Flys, but it looks like they may no longer be available which is the reason I bought these. My horses wear these daily for the last month or so and they are holding up really really well.

Best Purchase Ever
These are the greatest boots ever! I love them not only for protection from flies, but also protection from the sun. My horse was diagnosed with photoaggravated vasculitis, and needs to have his legs protected from the sun. These boots stay put, and really do the job. They don't bother him like other boots I've tried. I highly recommend them to all.

Okay for what it is
I would say these are average. I have an old TB who HATES flies. These are good for him--they stay on (once you figure out how tight they need to be) and seem to be durable so far. They are well-made but it would have been nice to get a set of 4 for the price. They fit my needs and expectations but I wouldn't buy them for all my horses.

Keeps Flies Off
I just got these and they do seem fine. After several hours though they slip down further and further. Additionally I didn't read the description close enough and only bought 1 pair. So be careful and get 2 sets if you want to cover all four legs!

Worth the money
I love these boots. I have been using them to help protect my heal my horses bed sores. He broke his other bed sore boots and I thought that these would do the trick. They have. Now when he falls in his stall the velcro comes undone instead of breaking. He was been able to get them off twice and they have with stood him and his neighbors chewing. Definitely worth the money.

i have tried many fly boots in the past...living in florida we need them 7 months a year! the last ones i bought did not even last a season...meanwhile i had some old kensingtons that still work and fit...but are getting worn after 6 years...couldn't be happier with the new ones... i just wish i had more of them!

Does the job
These wraps are pretty much like the rest except they are much stronger. By the end of the summer at least one will probably be torn (from your chewing on it, try to scratch an ich). Overall, they are nice and I've purchased another pair for next summer.

The best fly boots out there.
We have used Kensington Fly Boots for the last 3 years. They have held up better than any other brands we have tried. Our horses are turned out 24/7, so they put them to the test. They are higher priced than some, but well worth the cost.

does the job
I've held off on purchasing the Kensington sheet, because I'm afraid it would rub my thin skinned TB. After using the fly boots, my fears are confirmed. I adjusted the boots snug enough so they wouldn't slide down, and lo and behold they rubbed dime sized spots on my horses pasterns. I used them for 3 days, then tossed them in the tack trunk where they'll probably stay until I can put them on consigment somewhere. They do keep the flies off though....just exercise caution with them.

My Horse Thanks You
These work great. My Dutch warmblood is a big boy but HATES insects of any kind on his body, especially his legs. Since this summer has been horrible for flies I decided it was time to try fly boots. They work great. Very nicely constructed. Saves his hooves from injury and his legs stay cool too.

Not Long Lasting
the fit is great but the webbing started to wear out almost immediately. they are not tightly woven enough to withstand all day turnout and therefore need to be replaced after 1.5 months. my horse is not hard on his clothing or boots so these are a disappointment.

Great for summer!
I bought these to prevent stomping and they did the trick! They fit my 16.2 hand OTTB well...were a little big on my 15 hand Appy, but they still worked. Wash on gentle and air dry...they held up well!

Most durable boots
Last year, my horse destroyed her fly boots in a month. I tried to find some that were more sturdy, and these ones have lasted the whole season with no signs of wear at all. They stay up very well, barely any slouching. I wish the straps had some elastic on them.

best fly boots
These are the best fly boots, I've used them years and will never try another brand. I had some long ago that lasted me forever until a dog chewed them up!! Another quality product by kensington! They stay upright on the horse's leg. My only complaint about the fit is when you get them, they're kind of stiff and straight, but after awhile they'll start to shape to the horses leg allowing a better fit, which is why I only gave fit 3 stars. I do wish they were better formed to the horses' legs right off the bat.

Bought this item to protect my princess quarter horse's legs. The design wasn't any good. They slipped down under her hooves shortly after putting them on. No matter how secure/tight I fastened them they eventually slipped down.

Work well, but only last one season
These seem to fit my horses well, stay up well, but are pretty much trashed by the fall. My horses wear them starting in June for 9-10 hours per day. The one horse who tends to play with his clothes does leave them on, so they must be comfortable.

Great buy!
Bought the fly boots for my fly/bug sensitive horse and they work great. The only problem I have is the teasing I am getting from my husband and the other horse husbands! It is worth it if they help my boy be more comfortable. Also they match his halter, turnout and my "Barbie bag" as my husband calls it. Very well made, Kensington products are the best!

I have a very sensitive skinned horse that flies just love, especially his front legs. These work great! No more bleeding legs and stomping. He lives in an outside paddock so they get dirty and they're so easy to clean. Great product!

Decent product
These actually fit my small Arabian (14.3 hh) pretty well compared to other fly leg wraps on the market. I do wish these had some elasticity to the closures or came in more sizes for a better fit.
They don't sag and are durable.
They do help keep the flies off my horse's legs and help prevent his hooves from getting damaged due to stomping his feet trying to keep flies off.
