Sturdy halter
I bought this for my new thoroughbred horse size but she’s petite so a cob would’ve been better but I punched an extra hole and fits great!

Great Fit, Limited Longevity
I received this halter as a gift last November and use it daily. It is never out in the weather, always hung next to stall in covered (open air) barn. The webbing and leather are holding up great, the lead, tho it looks short, is actually perfect length for just leading ... however all the metal is rusting, which is very disappointing. For the listed price of this halter, I would like to see better quality metal. I'm hoping to find SS or brass fittings and someone with a heavy duty sewing machine to replace. That's how good the rest of the halter is!

Perfect Halter
This halter is perfect! It does run large which is fine- just size down. I ordered the COB size for my quarter horse and it fits him perfectly. It looks adorable on him. The materials are soft and flexible yet sturdy. I am so glad I purchased this, highly recommend.

Love This Halter!
My Morgan was recently diagnosed with TMJ arthritis. Regular headstalls put pressure right on his TM joint, and he has never been crazy about bits. I went in search of bitless options. Sidepulls put pressure on the joint and rope halters moved around too much. When I saw the nice rope noseband and padded crown piece on the Kavalkade halter I thought I would give it a go. I am able to adjust the nose to keep it from moving around too much on his head when riding. The hardware allows me to attach the reins where I like them. I really like the beautifully padded crown piece. There is no pressure on his TMJ and he is happy as a clam. The rope on the nosepiece is soft enough to not rub, but has enough bite if the ride gets exciting! We are trail riding and doing our arena work calm, relaxed, and pain free. It is very attractive and we have received many compliments on it.
I do second some of the other reviews. It does run big. I ordered the cob and have it adjusted almost as small as it can go. (He normally wears a regular horse size halter). Also, it would put the frosting on the cake if the crown piece could be adjusted from both sides. Personally, I would rather skip the lead rope. It is kind of cheesy, and I will probably never use it. Should be able to buy just the halter and add the lead rope if desired. Otherwise, we couldn’t be happier n

Love the halter, too big for my horse
I bought the "horse" size and it was too big for my horse. However, I found it fits comfortably when I turn her out over her fly mask. I just ordered the Cob size. The halter and lead are quality products, I really like them.

A design flaw...
I really loved so much about this halter, the cob size was fine for my little QH on the highest hole so it runs a bit big. The reason I returned it was that the ring under the chin can't slide to one of the sides because the buckle to adjust size is in the way. I want that ring to slide so while longing it should go to the side you are on instead of causing weird pulling of the head or misalignment of halter on her head. The padded crown strap was nice but made it difficult to use that buckle, too small a buckle for the leather thickness. If the Company could make adjustments in design this would be a super nice halter. Lead could be 2 feet longer for best use.

Love this halter
I've used this halter on Mario for two months and love it! We get lots of compliments at the barn. It's light weight and doesn't irritate his sensitive Thoroughbred skin.

Beautiful Halter!
This is a beautiful halter, feels like great quality. I only wish it had buckles on both sides of the crown for better adjustment. Had to return the full size for a cob for a 16hh Friesian head so they do run very big. I feel like if it had buckles on both sides of the crown I could have kept the full size one, but it was just too long for his head so getting the cob. Love this halter though.

Great look and Design!
I am so happy with the look of this halter and lead rope. It does run a little large so we punched 2 holes under the nose band and it was perfect on my cob sized Paso. The lead absorbed a lot of water like a sponge but I notice after rinsing it out, that it also dries quickly. I love the hardware too. Very pleased with this purchase!

Love it!
It's so nice on my Rocky Mountain Chocolate …. It complements his colors and is a very nice quality - I ordered the Cob size when other reviews stated "Ran a Little Big" and it fit him perfectly... nice that it came with the matching lead rope!

Soft and pretty, but way too big.
I just received my halter. Beautiful and well made! The rope is very soft and flexible...even a bit stretchy...more so than any other material used in any halter I have ever used. Also the padded leather top was very nice and soft. (Probable best for a well trained/behaved horse.) I like the dark leather as it almost looks black. The rope color is a bright turquoise and off white, with brown threads running throughout.
However, it was far too large for my 15 Hand, 1000 pound horse. I will try the cob size.
