Needs upgrade to prevent...
Needs something to prevent the knot from being pulled through the ball. We have gone through one of them because of this reason. Otherwise, my dog LOVES these!

Unusable within 5 minutes. Rope girth insufficient
Rope was pulled out within 5 minutes of giving it to my pups. I had one, from several years ago that is still going and the rope is significantly thinner thereby making the knot smaller and easier to pull through the hole. What’s your solution Jolly Pets?

Great for high energy dogs
My heeler loves this toy and it is one of the only things that keeps his interest and wears him out. If you have a high energy breed you need this ball.

Romp N Roll
My 6 month old Lab pup loves this toy. He plays alone as well as with people. He grabs the ball which flattens when retrieving, but it bounces back to full size when he turns it loose. Very sturdy so far. The rope and knots are hanging in as well. Great toy!

These will last forever
I got one about a year ago, and its been outdoors with 2 bullies and a cane corso.. they have been swinging it around for a year and its been under sun rain and all kinds if weather. Only had to order a replacement rope today, which is why I came back to order more. best dog toy Ive ever gotten

Great at first, but not for dogs with strong bite
Our black lab loves to retrieve this toy, but unfortunately after only a couple rounds of fetch his teeth went through the ball and now there are times it gets stuck on his teeth and we have had to carefully pry his mouth open to get it unstuck.

I normally do not write reviews but i am so disappointed. I purchased this product 2 years ago and was shocked at how good the quality was. My bulldog destroys toys which in turns, i have a really hard time finding a product he cant get through. To my surprise this ball took him the summer to destroy totally. that was still a plus for me and loved the product.
Yesterday i purchased the same item thinking summer is coming it would be great toy to have all summer. Well was i disappointed, the quality of the plastic is not there anymore. clearly they are making cut back and it shows. It took my dog less than an hour to break through the plastic. i could not believe it. Not worth the money at all. what a shame, after looking at other reviews on this page i am clearly not the only one that sees these cut back on the jolly product. what a shame.....

Great toy
This is my dogs favorite toy and the funnies toy to watch them play with. I have an 80lb Doberman and 45 lb border collie and both love the extra large toy. If you have a tough chewer I recommend stocking up on the rope replacements but no matter how much my dogs try, the ball is in perfect condition.

My girl loves this toy
I am very happy with this as its made in USA. My dobe came from the mainland and didn't get here until late Nov. 2022 due to paperwork and lack of supply's to run the Rabies test on the mainland. She got interested in this due to the rope but has chewed on it also. She can get her teeth caught in the hole but so far she has been able to get out by herself. I put the toy up when I am not around.

Not happy with this product
My dog destroyed it in a hour. She did enjoy playing with it but I had to take it off of her.
So a couple of days later I tried again but she went in the bushes and started chewing at the hole where the rope went threw. Maybe I should have bought the solid ball.

Our pup has had (and absolutely adores) his tug and toss jolly ball so we thought he might enjoy the romp-n-roll. Sure enough, he has a new favorite to add to the rotation! He loves chasing it and bringing it back, swinging it around happily.

This is great because we can throw it in our fenced in yard and it doesn't go through the fence openings. We have 2 doodles and they love to play tug of war or see who can take it and run from the other. We keep this toy for special play time so there is instant excitement when it comes out.

Survived months at a NYC dog park
I found out about this toy because one showed up at my local dog park in Brooklyn. My dog (a small pittie) lost her mind over it. For at least a couple months it stuck around until I'm guessing a pup took it home because it was holding up incredibly well (impressive considering how busy the park is). I got my dog a 6" one for home, but she's destroying it much faster than the full size one that was at the park because the material is thinner. If you have a super chewer go all in for the big one.

Happy Pup Happy Life
As adoption parents of rescue Staffordshire Terriers aka pitties, Jolly Ball beats them all as far as tough toy but hours of play! First thing in the morning and last thing at night this toy never becomes old! As others have said our dogs have to be brought into the house or they would play all day! The picture of the old blue Jolly Ball, the new and a Video before I could replace the the new blueberry that came today!

I purchased the replacement rope for my pup's second favorite toy because the current rope is just about ready to go. I will wait to replace it until the old one is toast, the old one has lasted for about 8 months so far.
