This is my 2nd scrubber!
I love this scrubber so I had to get another for a 2-handed operation or in the event I lose one - yikes...I would be lost! It's about the only brush I use now except for a soft brush to finish off a deep clean. My horse loves it too - he gets a nice massage and a good brushing. He really likes the big nubby side at the base of his mane & tail, the smaller nubs for the body and legs. Flexible enough to wrap around legs. I love that it's so easy to clean unlike brushes or the scrubby gloves that take a while to dry these dry almost immediately. It was great when Spring shedding was at it's worst. The hair doesn't fly around so much but builds up in a sheet between the nubs - just whack it against a fence post or the toe of your boot and it pops right out and you're ready to go again. Also, light and compact with a convenient hanging loop. I hang it and a hoof pick off a belt loop and go for a walk in the pasture and do a little grooming while hanging out with my buddy!

Never need a sponge again!
I've went through countless sponges with my horse and I figured I would try something different and once I received the jelly scrubber in the mail I went to try it out and it was AMAZING! Cleaning my horse was 2x quicker and no horse hair was stuck on the jelly scrubber! Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who still uses sponges.

Love this more than I thought I would!
The bristles get so much gunk up. I've been using it as both a curry for more sensitive areas and a bathing scrub. The little loop makes it even easier to carry it around and use it to rub out sweat marks while cooling out after riding. I am surprisingly in love with this scrubber.

Sensitive mare loves it
This is the only brush my sensitive mare tolerates. She pins her ears and grinds her teeth with anything else, even soft brushes. But for some reason this jelly scrubber does the trick.

Great for Scrubbing Legs and Fungus
I only use the softer side of this mitt, as my horse is pretty sensitive, but it's a must-have for scrubbing legs and is perfect for any 'gross' spots in the spring or summer.

Just okay for a very sensitive TB - EASY TO CLEAN
This brush isn't anything special when it comes to brushing a very sensitive TB. He tolerates it perhaps a hair better than a standard curry and it pulls up hair slightly better than my ostero soft curry. BUT the biggest perk with this thing is it is SO easy to just hose off! And it dries quickly. It sure gets filthy but it is so easy to clean!

I have a very sensitive Thoroughbred who lets me know when a brush is too 'firm;. I use this scrubber on his lower legs and bony prominences with great results.

I love Jelly Scrubbers!!

I have sensitive-skinned thoroughbred that gets agitated when I use a hard curry, so I have been using the jelly scrubbers. Doesn't bother my horse, they last a long time, and are easy to clean.

Multiple uses!
I don't actually own a horse, but I got one of these in a gift bag and intended to bring it to the barn I ride at. It never made it. My short haired cat LOVES it. She goes absolutely bonkers over the thing and it's great at lifting up the shedding fur.
It's amazing at getting fur off furniture and clothing too!! And if you have a stubborn itch, it's good at that too, LOL!!! I wish I had 20 of these things to give to friends and family, they're terrific :)

I am confused by the other reviews.
After a borrowing a jelly scrubber from my friend, I decided to ditch my curry comb for my sensitive skinned Hanoverian and try this instead. My friend must have ordered hers from Dover, because this jelly scrubber feels entirely different than the one I borrowed from her.
Firstly, this jelly scrubber is awkwardly large and slippery. I have had it literally fly out of my hands when grooming with a death grip-and I was wearing gloves!
My horse also cannot tolerate this scrubber. Whenever it touches him, he acts like he is in pain. My trainer has told me that his skin is just highly sensitive. Perhaps I should try SmartPaks gentle curry. I love Smartpak, but I am really disappointed in this product. It feels like hard plastic, and I have a difficult time getting slight mud spots out of my horses coat.

Favorite thing in my grooming box
I bought this about 6 months ago and never really used it, unitl a month ago when i rediscovered it in the bottom of my grooming box. It will never be getting to the bottom again!!! it is the first thing i reach for when i groom my horse, i use it on his body, legs, and face! I now own 3 and have one in my show kit, one in my grooming box, and one in my bathing bucket! BUY ONE OF THESE!!
