Best hoof brush, seriously!
After reading the comments and other reviews, I was skeptical that this little brush was exactly what I needed. But I’ve had it for a few weeks now and I can’t believe how many times I reach for this tool! I love it! It’s not too stiff and not too soft, it cleans up hooves and even dusts dirt/mud off the lower legs. For $5 you gotta get one!

MUST HAVE BRUSH
This is a great brush. Good stiff bristles - wonderful for cleaning hooves! I use my hoof pick and the stiff brush to pick out his feet, then I use this brush with to actually clean his hooves with whatever cleanser I need. When you need to have clean hooves to apply poultices, thrush remedies, hoof hardener or whatever - this is the brush you need to have!

Too soft
I wanted a brush that was stiff enough to actually clean out a foot after picking. This brush is way too soft for that purpose. It's fine for brushing off the front of the hoof or heel bulb, but no use at all in brushing out hoof crevices. If it was a coat brush, I'd call it a "finishing" brush. Guess I'll go back to my pick/brush combo.

It was ok
So I used to profesionally trim and shoe horses, now I mainly just trim my own and a few others. I use a long brush with metal bristles when I trim and I was hoping I could just keep this in my grooming bag for my own horse. Unfortunately it's got nothing on my regular brush. It really needs stiffer bristles.

Would be a bargain at twice the price
This little brush has become an indispensable part of my grooming routine. It's plenty stiff enough to effectively clean out my horse's feet, but not too abrasive, so I can continue brushing with it right up the pastern.
In just a moment I've got everything from the inside of the hoof up to the fetlock, front and back, scrubbed clean, with nary a protest from my TB.
So far it seems durable; I've been using it for a couple months and I can't tell that it isn't brand new. I can't see spending more on any other brush given how well this one works.

Great brush for hooves and pastern cleaning.
I have 3 of these brushes, one for each of my horses, and use them everytime I groom to remove dirt and mud from their fetlocks and pasterns and their hooves. They are so handy and hold up well. I used the first set almost daily for nearly 2 years before they finally started to wear out. I just bought 3 more.
Oh, and I also use one to brush my eventing horse's feet/shoes before and after useing studs in her shoes. Wonderful little brush.

Good Hoof Brush
I needed a good easy to handle hoof brush, this one does the job well. Stuck on mud can be removed by using the back of the handle and the regular brush sweeps off the dirt easily. Great value, great tool,

This does just as it should. It works much better than the hoof picks with bristles on the end. It cleans out my horse's hooves really well before I apply thrush treatments or hoof oil. This was nice and cheap too!

Wish the bristles were stiffer..
The size is great, but the bristles are not up to sweeping away crusty mud, only light sand and dust. This brush also reminds me why I love the hoof pick brush combos ( I duct taped a normal hoof pick to the handle of this, just to make myself happier.)

Really gets the job done
I put hoof oil on my mare's feet every day and this brush helps me get all the dust and dirt loose before I brush on the oil. She wears four shoes and it's bristles are flexible enough to get around the clips and base of the shoe, but strong enough to actually get everything out.

Great Hoof Brush
I've been using this hoof brush daily for 3 months now and it's still in great shape. It's a good bit larger than the hoof brush on the back of my hoof pick, so it cleans the hoof out a lot faster. I love it! Will definitely buy another one when this one wears out.
