Why We Love This
Novocontact bits are designed to create a unique oval shape which widens the contact surface on the tongue while the rider keeps a steady contact. As the rider gives a rein aid the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface gets narrower, ensuring more precise and effective communication. These bits improve the interaction between horse and rider for a better contact and acceptance of the bit.
Double jointed novocontact bits are ideal to use on horses that occasionally tend to pull against the hand, but are too sensitive to be ridden with stronger bits. Eggbutt provides greater lateral stability.
Sensogan®
The new bit material developed by Sprenger – is the result of additional development and consequently the improvement of their original material, Aurigan. They have built on the success and positive features of Aurigan, specifically the taste and salivation aspects to give an even more delicate and sophisticated connection to the horse. It is the distinctive composition of copper, manganese and zinc that makes SENSOGAN® so special.
