Herm Sprenger Bow Balance Stirrups ensure improved leg position. Changing the weight ratio on the Herm Sprenger Bow Balance Stirrups results in perfect balance and great comfort for the rider. Shock absorbing grip is achieved by a widened tread made of rubber with two types of properties. Bow Balance design provides easy "pick up" upon mounting as they require very little effort on the rider's part - a simple touch of the foot to the stirrups and it gently folds onto the rider's foot. Based on Herm Sprenger's innovative four-link system on the inside of the stirrups, making them extremely comfortable and especially good for helping to prevent joint pain. Feature the patented System 4 joint.

I have had several jumpers, who tend to overjump everything, and can sometimes pop me out of the tack. I bought these to help eliminate the issue, and realized they had the added bonus of providing shock absorption. The curved design also makes the irons extremely easy to pick up if you lose a stirrups. I have been riding in these for years, and will not ride in anything else now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by tammy from Best stirrups I've tried so far! These stirrups are amazing. They keep my toes pointed in and they are very comfortable. Great for hunters/jumpers. I love how they bend with your foot so you're not having ankle pain/joint pain. If you loose the stirrup, they are quite easy to pick up in any gait. Great product! Also love the wide foot bed.

Because these stirrup irons caused me to constantly lose my foot position because of all the hinging and swinging that made holding my position work against me. Fighting the irons. The wide footbed made it more difficult to put heels down.

Perfect for ankles and leg muscles since they don't force your leg in one position. This is my second pair for a saddle on my second horse. Tried to ride in a basic hunter stirrup and and had leg and ankle pain. They are a bit pricy but worth it.

I have had problems with my right knee from falls from jumping. I was starting to have some hip pain from riding dressage, and I was also tried of loosing my stirrups. So I finally broke down and bought the bow balance stirrups. Best purchase ever no more pain in my knee or hip. No more lost stirrups, and my leg stays nicely in place against my horses side. They do take some getting used to but they are worth the money.

And waited. I had a birthday and splurged. The difference has been truly remarkable. I went from limping after an hour trail ride to riding for two hours and feeling darn wonderful after dismounting. Huge difference.
