Directions for Leg Scratches and Heel Scratches:
Avoid picking scabs or crust. Wash gently (for best results, use Fungus Amungus Leg & Body Wash) and dry with clean towel. Apply Blue Stuff lotion to the affected area. Repeat each consecutive day until scratches are healed. Then use as a maintenance lotion for chronic scratches. For Outdoor Horses: Brush dirt away from the area, apply Blue Stuff lotion daily to the affected area. Repeat until symptoms are gone. Do not pick at affected area.
Directions for Rain Rot and other skin dermatitis:
Apply lotion to affected area, if dusty brush away debris and apply. Repeat daily until symptoms dissipate and hair grows back. For best results use consecutively.

Working well
I bought this to help get rid of some left over crud on my mare’s Pasternak from mud last winter. I had bought the shampoo earlier, but she has a foal with her, so I wasn’t able to use it as regularly as I would have liked. This really has been doing the trick.

Great Product
My horse is very sensitive to medicated shampoos/lotions. After reading other reviews about this product, I gave it a try. The product does exactly what it says it will. My horses' fungus began to clear up within the first week. I do use the shampoo and lotion as suggested by the manufacturer. The product is mild enough to use on my sensitive horse.

Amazing!!!
I first learned about this product from an ad on Facebook, and thought I would give it a shot for my senior quarter horse that's CONSTANTLY battling cannon bone crud. It didn't work wonders overnight, but following the instructions on the bottle, it really helped to clear up his legs. It has a nice smell, not a greasy consistency, it's actually a lotion which I love and doesn't irritate his super sensitive skin. I'm thrilled to see that SmartPak carries this product and love the auto ship option to be sure that I never run out. This stuff has been an absolute lifesaver for my old guy, I use it on every skin irritation imaginable.

I've been using this product for about a year now, per the recommendation of another boarder. I love it. It really clears up the scurfy crud on my geldings back legs, and does wonders to help bug bites and small abrasions. I wouldn't be without it!

Helped Heal A Persistent Cut
My mare somehow cut her fetlock area and kept reopening it. Because of the location the vet was unable to stitch it. I used every product for wounds I have in my medical kit and none of them worked to help close and keep this cut closed. Two applications of "Hay Where's That Blue Stuff" and I'm happy to report that the cut is almost closed and seems to be healing cleanly.
I wanted to think this was just a gimmick but this has quickly become my new favorite product for cuts and abrasions on my horses!

Phenomenal!
I love blue stuff, it clears up everything my horses have come in with. Be aware, if you cannot keep the area clean and dry, nothing is going to clear up things like scratches or rain rot. However, blue stuff really is magic- absorbs nicely and does not irritate.

Just made his scratches worse
I bought this lotion after a friend recommendation for my geldings scratches fungus. Unfortunately it was no miracle product and actually progressively made his skin condition worse after applying daily for a week plus. Although it is not oily it
does leave a residue that collects dirt, shavings, etc. It never seems to completely dry or absorb so the constant moisture just made matters worse and it seemed to irritate his skin. Be aware that it does contain witch
hazel and alcohol.

Disappointing
I applied this to my horse's scratches for months and there was no difference in them. Really disappointing as I was hoping this was the solution to these pesky scratches!!

Really works!!!
Recently purchased a horse from South Carolina. Poor guy had terrible scratches and fungus on his legs and rump. Could not use jump boots! After using for 2 weeks along with "Fungus Among Us" shampoo he has clean amazing legs!! Love this product!

Would not recommend
Product is overpriced and does not work. Tried two separate times and did not work on scratches. I switched to another product that cleared it up. Also it would be helpful if the percentage of active ingredients was listed.

Amazing
I am not usually a review writer. This product is amazing. I had a horse with a rope burn on his fetlock area. Within a week the scabing was gone and new hair was growing in. Seems to work well also for bug bite scabs.

Works great - load it on
I have been using this on my horse's scratches for about 2 weeks now on a recommendation from a friend. The scratches are diminishing slowly. I did add in the use of Corona in conjunction that is speeding it up a bit. I do like using that Blue Stuff as it has a nice smell and isn't very greasy. Hoping it will be great for long term use and prevention for the scratches. Please consider carrying the 1 gallon size as well.

Glad Smartpak has it!!
We have used Blue Stuff for several summers to eliminate the scurf my gelding gets around his muzzle and face from the humidity, sweat, etc. it works great. He loves me to rub it on. Gets rid of his itchiness too. Glad I can get it from Smartpak now!!!

This Blue Stuff Works
Have been using this product for a year along with Fungus Amungus. It works in getting rid of fungus and rain rot. Also is great for cuts and abrasions.

Only thing that truly works!
I’ve had my sensitive skinned TB for 7 years now. Since the day I bought her, she had the typical hind canon bone crud. I tried everything, from vet prescribed ointment to any tricks i could find on Google. Once Smartpak added this product after listening to our pleas on Twitter (thanks!!), I bought it. Within a few days I was noticing it clearing up. I’m also not the best and remembering to do it daily, and it still works great! It’s been a month now and it’s completely gone. I will never not have this product on hand.

Will always have a bottle on hand!
I've heard good things about this product from several people, but had never bit the bullet and bought it. Finally when Smartpak added it, I decided to try it. I have one horse who has a constantly dripping eye (even after cleaning his tear ducts), and his tears have been basically burning the hair off his face. I felt horrible! But couldn't seem to find anything that really helped. Once this arrived, I started rubbing a pea-sized amount on his face every day and it has almost entirely cleared up! His eye still drips, but the hair is growing back on his face. He seems to like the aloe in it as well, because every time I apply it, he leans into it and relaxes. He used to try to vacate the premises with some other products I tried. Super impressed with this product and me and my horses love it! Highly recommend!

This stuff is amazing, for real
I've been using this stuff forever - I have owned every lotion and potion known to man made for horses because I love basically using every single product on earth. So as far as fungus and leg crud goes... let's be honest, nothing works. Um, this stuff DOES work. I use it in her mane and tail when it's itchy, I use it on her legs if I see crud build up, or immediately after to sooth when I clip her. I use it on random blanket rubs and abrasions, I use it on bug bites and random cuts... I put it on her chestnuts and scabs to soften them up, yeah I pretty much own at least 100 different bottles of stuff but just use this!
