My New Favorites
I cant believe this is the first time i have bought these. I loved the pipers but these are dreamy. They fit great! They are also the perfect weight.

Unfortunately they won’t last
I was so excited when I got these Hadley breeches and thought they would replace my drawer full of Tailored’s over time. Unfortunately, stitching has already started to come apart, so obviously they won’t last long. I’ll have to stick with spending a bit extra on Tailored’s to have breeches that will last for years and years of use.

Good breeches!
I received 4 pairs of Hadley breeches for Christmas 2018, and almost a year later, they are still looking great with minimal pilling. The fabric is thick and not see-through at all, but not hot. There's something about the fabric that makes it good for summer and winter. I also love the 4 pocket feature, and how the rise is lower in the front and higher in the back. The colors are also beautiful, my navy pair has not faded at all. Most navy breeches fade to a lighter blue, but mine have stayed a true navy for almost a year.

Plus size frustration GONE!
These are IT. I'm short and wide with a big booty, and these don't gap in the back. They come up far enough- even the most expensive brands haven't. They are thick enough to be flattering. I have literally ordered and returned at least 14 different brands from different stores. FINALLY!!

Way better than I thought they’d be!
I found the fit to be great on these. Very true to the TS TH model and for a way better price. My only criticism is the pockets. The front pockets are very shallow. The back pockets have zippers, which I like, and when unzipped, I have plenty of room for your phone or whatever. the fabric seems durable, and washes up beautifully in the machine with no special treatment.

Very comfortable and great value
I generally like the Piper breeches but have to say these are even better. My biggest complaint with Pipers is that they slide down constantly unless I am wearing a fairly tight belt. These DO. NOT. MOVE. and are super comfortable. Love that the fabric is more dirt repellent, too. Fit is very good for a curvy figure. Material appears to breathe fairly well and so far they have washed up great. I machine wash and dry... breeches get no special treatment in my house! The color is also very pretty - I have gotten many compliments on them.

I love these breeches!
I bought a pair when they were on clearance and paid about what I normally would for Piper breeches. I didn't know what to expect, but these breeches are great! I love the fabric. I have only had them less than a month but have worn them multiple times and washed them twice. They're great for dinner riding too since the fabric is lighter than the Piper breeches. I love that these still have back pockets, great for holding phones while riding. I felt that they fit true to size, I ordered the same size as the Piper breeches. I can't wait for these to go in sale again. I may even buy them at full price if I have to.

Love as much as my TS!
Loves these as much as my TS! Same type of material that I love (not cotton like the Piper) and really nice quality. If you have a straight figure (no curves) you might want to size up. I wear a 26 in TS and bought a 26 with these and they fit, but they are much tighter in the waist—-probably also because they are not really low rise. Also if you are 5’7” or taller you definitely need a long.

Worth the price!
I bought one pair, wore them, and ordered another. I am a long time Piper customer, but on a friend’s recommendation I tried a pair of Hadley’s. They are the perfect summer breech! So soft and comfortable, but with good support. I’ve worn them every day in the heat and they wick sweat away and dry quickly. I’ve watched both pairs several times and they look great. They cost a little more than pipers, but are so worth it!

My new favorite breech!
I’m really picky when it comes to breeches and there are very few options where I feel like the price, quality, and fit all work for me. Hadley Knee Patch Breeches are a perfect combination of all three! They are a great price considering that they look and feel like a higher-end breech. They also fit perfectly and keep me comfortable, even after long days at the barn. They’re very durable and hold up well to the dirt and grime that naturally comes from a life around horses and they wash and wear beautifully. There’s plenty of room for my phone and horse cookies in the pockets. I love the colors, particularly the options with tan knee patches. Over a short period of time they’ve taken over most of my riding wardrobe and they have quickly become my favorite breech!

Not sized consistently
I just brought my second pair of Hadley britches. Same size, different color. These new britches are at least 2" longer than my first pair and fit more loosely. Not happy! SmartPak is of course taking them back but the lack of quality control for these britches is a bit irritating.

Lovely fit and material, but inconsistent sizing
I bought my first pair of these over the winter and absolutely loved them, so I ordered 3 more pairs. Unfortunately, I was not as happy with the other 3 pairs I ordered. I love all of the colors I have (purple, teal, navy, and olive) but all 4 fit very differently. I ordered a 38R in all 4 colors, but no 2 fit the same. The purple fit like a dream, the teal are a little snug but manageable, but the navy and olive I can barely get up over my hips and aren’t even close to zipping up. Very disappointed. I have worn the purple pair a lot, and am quite happy with how they are holding up. I just wish all of the breeches were cut the same so I would have 4 beautiful pairs of breeches instead of just 1. I had this issue with Pipers as well. I would recommend these over Pipers every single time not only in material but also in features, so I’m hoping SmartPak can sort out the sizing issues. I would have exchanged for a larger size in the colors that didn’t fit, but they were no longer available.

Unpleasant blisters!
I bought this product a couple weeks ago to try a new brand of breeches and because most of the ladies at my barn ride in SmartPak breeches. I was very disappointed that after one ride the seam behind my knees gave me blisters in a location where my tall boots don't even reach. I tried to ride in them a couple more times to see if I had to "break them in," this did not help and only made the blisters worse. Never had a pair of breeches give me blisters, so I returned to SmartPak.

Great quality
I bought these as an alternative to Tailored Sportsman breeches. Previously I have bought lower quality breeches for schooling and they just don't last, or stretch out or otherwise aren't nice - I was going to just bite the bullet and go back to TS even for schooling, since they last forever. However my barn mate told me to try the Hadley breeches and so far I'm very happy. The technical fabric is nice, it seems to repel dirt and they fit well. I'm normally a 28 and they are a just a little loose around the seat and legs, so I will try the 26 next time. If they last then I will certainly be buying more!

perfect breeches!
High-quality breeches for a very reasonable price. I would compare these to my low-rise RJ Classics Gulf breech (which I also love), baseball jersey-esque feel, feels like a breech worth a lot more money. The little Hadley marking on the back belt loop and on the inner patches offer some subtle style, sharp enough for the show ring. They can be a little stuffy on a 95% humidity Jersey day, as they don't breathe too well. Probably best suited for fall/spring riding. Would rate them as a mid-weight breech. Although, I have layered them with a pair of tights underneath and they kept me warm on a below 0 degree day with a wind chill. Comfortable and durable, I work and ride in these and they've been holding up. Dirt likes to sit on the material, so it's a little tough to dust off, especially if they're a little damp. Offer very little stretch, so size up if you're between sizes. Sizes are pretty spot on, length is a tad short (above the ankle) but I prefer a short length anyway. For reference, I am on the taller side of 5'3" and 148lbs and the 30R fits near perfect with zero gapping in the waist. Slowly collecting all of the colors, they sell out so fast!! I get more compliments on these breeches than on my much more expensive breeches. LOVE!

Love these breeches!
The material on these breeches is excellent - they look almost fancy enough to wear out :) Love the zipper pockets on the back (full size), and the color is perfect (I ordered navy).

My Favorite Schooling Breeches
I have been using Hadley breeches for awhile now and I am so in love. I always wear mine. I am a very tiny and slim teenager and these fit beautifully. I totally recommend. They are as comfy as TS. If you want the look and feel of high quality breeches, go for these!

The most comfortable breeches I've ever owned
I bought these a month ago and have to fight the urge to wear them every day. I am trainer and its hard to find breeches that are comfortable for riding AND walking around in all day. Fit me perfectly and i'm extremely curvy and usually struggle with breeches.

Beautiful fit for hourglass or pear shapes
I am so happy with SmartPak making clothes for size 16 women. It was nearly impossible for me to find anything besides frumpy pull ons before they came out with the Pipers. Hadley's are a much better fit. I have a smaller waist to hip ratio (37" 48" respectively and wear a size 38 Hadley comfortably) so Pipers will fall down if I don't wear a belt. The Hadley's are a much curvier fit and I am so impressed with the durability. My Pipers are usually done by 1 year, if not less, riding 7+ hours a week. I have had my Hadleys for over a year now and they don't have one pill in between the thighs. They wash and wear beautifully. I find the material doesn't show as many lumps as my Tailored Sportsman and I much prefer the generous mid rise of the Hadleys. My only wish is that SmartPak would introduce a Hadley in side zip with brown knee patches for showing, including the bigger sizes!

Great Breeches!
These fit and feel much more expensive than they were! I got them on sale for less than $50. If you are thinking about buying them, I recommend waiting for a sale if possible ( I am short (about 5’2) and skinny all the way down. The 22R fit great, not too loose around the waist or ankles. I love how the pockets are smooth and minimal unlike Pipers. Overall great breeches!

Love!
I bought these when they were on sale for $35. I bought two pair and they are the only breeches I have found to fit me! I love them! They are even dirt and water resistant! Totally worth the price and I think just as nice as RJ classics or TS. I'm 5'3 and around 98lbs and the 22R fit great! I can even wear the 22L since I have fairly long legs.

Fit like a glove
I tried he Piper breeches and after I found the Piper fit not quite right for me (I have a slim waist, but a bit of a butt, so there was always gaping at the waist), I tried the Hadley's and they are amazing. Not only do they fir perfectly, but they are super comfortable in and out of the saddle. The new colors are great. I will be buying more. My new favorite breech for sure!!

These breeches are sooo good
I love these breeches! I'm one of those people that dislike the Pipers, the Pipers fall down on me, they are too heavy of a fabric for summer. The Hadley's fit so nice, I wore them today without a belt and they stay up and are so soft(silky smooth athletic fabric) and comfy. Just so everyone knows they are the exact same fabric mixture as the Sarafinas! I knew this when I bought them, loving the sarafina fabric, but they had to fit nice, stay up, and be flattering and they are! I want to wear these more than my other breeches.
Negative- the back pockets can be bunchy and make your butt look not smooth, you could cut the lining of the pockets out, if you care about this problem, but I'm kinda attached to the back pockets now.
Also- like other reviews said, they might run small. I normally wear a 30R, but I sized up to a 32R and they fit perfect. If you like them super tight, the 30R still fit me and were sorta comfy, they just were suctioned on looking. But with Smartpak, you really dont have to worry, I just ordered both sizes to see what I liked better.
I cant say how they wash, or how they wear over time, I havent been riding in them long

So comfortable
I have 4 pairs of these breeches and absolutely LOVE them! Best breeches I've owned so far. They are so breathable and don't stretch out after many wears and washes like many other breeches. Super durable as I have worn them many times and no sight of any kind of wear, and the material is so comfortable. The only little thing I would say bothers me is the zipper falls down half an inch or so sometimes. But 100% worth the price, are my go to show and hacking breeches!

These have become my new favorite breeches. The material strikes the right balance of stretch and stability. They are more comfortable than my Ariats and Treadsteps. I have only had them 3 weeks, but after multiple washes they seem to be wearing well.

Great Fit. Disappointing Durability.
I nabbed a pair of these in the January clearance. I loved the color and cut, but hadn't gotten around to wearing them (I might have gone overboard buying breeches. Maybe).
Sadly, they somehow snagged in a drawer full of breeches, tags still attached. I'm not sure how well that bodes for longevity around stirrup leathers, barn cats, and unplanned discounts, but I'm not encouraged.
