General: Apply in a covered area such as a barn or stall. For best results, apply to a clean horse. Prior to application, brush horse's coat to remove excess dirt and dust.
Application Instructions.
Shake container before each application. Hold spray container 10 to 12 inches from horse's coat for best application. Do not spray solution directly onto horse's facial area. Instead, spray solution onto clean cloth and use the cloth to apply. Reapply every 3 hours or as needed.

Approved by Very Sensitive Gelding
I've been using this all summer for my guy who breaks out in hives if I use the wrong fly spray. It helps keep his coat looking shiny with aloe and sunscreen. It must do a good job of protecting him from bugs since he's not coming in covered in bites. It's definitely his favorite fly spray!

Good fly spray
I have a Thoroughbred that gets very sun bleached and his coat gets very dry in the summer. I am happy to say this fly spray has really helps. And it did not make his coat too oily.

Horse and human safe
Love this! Used for 3rd year now. Tried others but they are synthetically derived and mess with both horse and human hormonal balances and nervous systems in not a good way. This is safe and does the job !

I was looking for a low-chemical fly spray that would keep my OTTB mare happy. After reading reviews for Espree, I was sold, so I jumped in head-first and bought a gallon. Pros: I like the smell & my mare hasn't had any adverse reaction to the ingredients. Cons: I haven't seen a noticeable decrease in her being bothered by the bugs after the spray is applied. At this point, I wouldn't purchase again.

Great fly spray but bottle should be improved
My sensitive horse reacts to many fly sprays and gets itchy quickly. This is a fly spray we both like. It smells nice and he does not mind it. I had to refill it in another bottle though as the top part/ nozzles did not work properly and there was no fine mist coming out.

Love it
As far as natural fly sprays go, this is the best one I have found. It doesn't bother my sensitive skinned mare. The stronger chemical sprays will give her hives, but this doesn't. It also does really well repelling and killing the borrowing gnats (which was its main purpose for me) and does moderatly well at repelling regular flies.

Didn't make me sick but Works
Ultra shield Green sent me to UrgentCare and a week of prednisone. Espree Fly Spray did a very good job of keeping off the flies on our rides and I had no bad reactions. Much healthier for my horse as well. Everyone at my Barn was "stealing" it to try, and loving it. Good product!

My horse hates fly spray, but doesn't mind this one. I love the smell, and it seems to work as well or better than others. I always use natural fly sprays, don't like spraying chemicals all over me and him. I got the wipes too for his face.

So far so good
I was looking for a less aggressive fly spray for my young horse that seems to get really itchy/ allergic from some of the chemical sprays. I have used it for a few weeks now and am really happy so far. Might need to go back to ultrashield black every other day when flies get really bad but so far this spray seems effective enough to keep my horse comfortable.

Best flyspray for my TBs!
Honestly don't think most flyspray works, so I purchased a gallon to try since the price was right. I was pleasantly surprised that it works really well and smells great! Also doesn't make any of my thoroughbreds break out in hives or anything crazy like some other brands do! Highly recommended, it will be the only flyspray in my barn from now on!

Works well for an herbal fly spray
I prefer 'natural' fly sprays and this one keeps flies away for a while. I do add additional herbal oils to this for a bit more protection. I wish there was something to deter gnats.

Better Than I Anticipated!
I decided to try out this spray, hoping it would have a nice smell (which it does), and work pretty well for my horse who also wears a fly sheet, mask, and boots (which it does). And it's cheaper than the others too!

So excited to see Smartpak carrying this flyspray!
This is the best natural flyspray I have found. It is great for horses with sensitive skin that can't handle other natural spray options (I have one that can't handle oily fly sprays). I like the concentrate because I can mix it a little stronger if needed. I also really like the smell - it isn't chemically or too potent. Perhaps, it isn't quite as effective as some of the really hardcore sprays on the market, but I cannot use those sprays on my horses and I do not really think they are good for me to be breathing them. It really is quite effective though. And, best of all - this fly spray is actually affordable! Highly recommend.
