Stylish and Effective Visor
I love the EquiVisor! I have pale skin and I burn very easily. The larger brim works well because it covers my face much more than a standard baseball cap does; baseball caps have a small brim and they leave my cheeks exposed for burning. I needed something I could wear around the barn, and even wear while riding with a helmet. It is very stylish, and I like wearing it to the beach and the pool as well! It is extremely durable and sturdy, and it does not flop around when it is windy or when I am galloping away! I love the adjustable velcro strap so that I can wear it on my head and then adjust it to fit around my helmet when needed. I tend to run very warm and I sweat a lot as a result. The brim is easy to wipe down with a wet rag and keep clean, and there are no sweat stains. The Equivisor is one of those products that made me say, “it was worth every penny!”

Where has this been all my life?
A friend of mine has been riding in one of these for a while, and at first I thought it was a little silly. But after I tried it, I was amazed at the difference! I have lessons in the evening (5-6 pm), and there have been many a lesson where I'd be squinting, trying to see a fence in the setting sun in front of me. The visor gives just enough shade that I can actually see the whole ring even when the sun's going down! I only got to use it a couple of times this season, but I'm excited for the spring!
My friend's visor has slipped off a couple times while riding (maybe twice in the year or so she's had it), so far I haven't had that problem.

My favorite must have!
My riding equipment isn’t complete without my Equivisor! I’ve received multiple treatments for hyperpigmentation on my face and also have an allergy to ingredients found even in sunscreen for sensitive skin so I need all of the protection for can get. I’m very impressed with the amount of sun protection the Equivisor provided.

Flies off.
If you get any kind of speed it's like a sail in the wind. It flies off behind you which can spook a cantering horse. I've tried adjusting it different ways. Too bad because I like the sun protection. Also too bad my return window has closed.

Great sun protection
I bought this about a month ago to get protected from the Texas sun. It was very easy to attach to my helmet and is holding really well, even when jumping, I think due to the sticky underside and the fact that I tightened it and then slid it to the edge of the helmet for extra pressure. I am really happy with this purchase!

A Must For Any Outdoor Riding
As a former A Circuit groom, I used to laugh at the Adult Amateurs who would wear these because I thought they looked odd. Well now that I've "retired" from full time grooming and I have more time to ride my own horses, I've had trouble keeping sunglasses on and my eyes are increasingly sensitive to sunlight. So, I sucked it up and ordered one of these visors. Let me tell you, I'm not laughing anymore! This thing is worth every penny. The materials feel solid, the velcro makes for easy on/off, and the grippy on the inner brim keeps it in place through the whole ride. The brim is the perfect length to shield the sun from any angle.

Love This So Much!
I had concerns about how I would look wearing one of these and finally figured I would give it a try. I will say that it doesn't look as large on my helmet as in the pictures on this ad. I love how much shade it provides and I have had a lot of compliments too!!

Love it!
I’ve been riding with the Equivisor for several weeks now. It’s great. My skin has been burnt so much over the decades of riding and I get headaches from squinting so much when riding. This visor has been so helpful. The shade covers my whole face and I don’t squint like I used to. I’ve ridden on the flat, jump schooled, and done conditioning with this on...no problems with it at all. Was worried it may fly off...nope. Highly recommend!

Perfect visor!
I had an old visor of neoprene only and it fell apart. I was so pleased to see that this visor has substance, a sturdy frame and sticky tape that keeps it on the helmet. It is wide enough to keep the sun from my eyes and is surprisingly light. Love this design!!

Really helps!
I was worried this would fly off, but it hasn't yet! I snugly attach it well against the brim, after I've put my helmet on. Helps hot, bright arenas seem more tolerable. Wore mine to a riding camp and everyone was asking about it. My mother-in-law (who previously said she didn't want one) bought one the next week!

Why did I wait so long to purchase this?
I was a bit shocked at how big this visor is when I unpacked it but then I rode with it and realized it is perfect. Total shade for your face and neck and even good shade on my shoulders. I walked, trotted and cantered up and down hills in a moderate wind and no problems with the visor staying in place. A great buy. I also rode in our indoor with it and can see that it would be great for blocking out glare from overhead lights if that is a concern for you.

sun protection
I tan super fast and I felt like this was a good move. I tan so fast in Florida that I don't recognize myself by the end of 3 months. Even riding up north I like wearing this, plus sun screen. I'm not against being tan, but more so concerned about skin health. So this is really great. and it's shade so bright light from above make me squint as much. For glare from arena footing that refracts light, you probably need sunglasses or UV athletic goggles.

Sturdy sun visor.
This sun visor is the type to be worn with a helmet however trying to use it 2 times and both times the wind blew it off. I had it as tight as possible ...I have seen others ride with this type of visor perhaps it is only good on very still days. I will try it again but I’m not sure I can recommend it.

Nice and shady rides
Used this a few times already. So far so good, and can certainly tell the difference when riding (no squinting and shade). I prefer this to wearing sun glasses. WhenI first got the visor I put it on a backup helmet I have (same as my usual helmet) and would check it a few days to make sure it stayed taught. I think this helps "form" it to the helmet too. It has yet to come off or fly off while riding (cantering - we haven't galloped). Already got a few compliments on it.

I ordered this thinking it would help keep me cool in the summer. It did its job but comes right off my Charles Owen helmet. If my horse takes off or spooks the visor flys right off my helmet (not really helping the situation). Nice idea and I’ll continue to use it but I silent recommend and I will not buy again.

Great Sun Protection!
I wish I would have been protecting my face since the beginning. After a painful dermatology visit, I'm further convinced that the sun is not your friend. I am very happy how this stays snug on my helmet and keeps the sun away! I've received lots of compliments on the jute material, too. Recommend for all!
