Had a horrible tick issue last spring, used this and not only did it keep the ticks off but it also kept the flys away, the horses stayed out longer and were happier overall. Hardly needed fly spray.

Helps my bug allergic horse
Recommended by a veterinary dermatologist to me- apply to my horse’s poll and tail base once a week. This has helped my horse’s allergies tremendously.

Great product
I've known others who have used this product, but this is the first time I bought it. It works! It greatly decreased the fly population on my mare. Nothing works 100%, but this is pretty close. I would buy again and recommend it to others

Excellent product
Allows me to get good fly protection without having to constantly spray fly spray. I just tried this for this summer. So far so good.

Equi-Spot must have changed the formula!
This is the second time I've purchased Equi Spot to use with my horse and I never had any problems until this new order. Freia became very disturbed when I attempted to apply it on her and was obviously in some distress (burning her?). She had the same reaction three weeks ago when I tried to apply it, but, I just thought it was something else bothering her. It was very evident today that it was the Equi Spot that was causing the problem because she was very calm before I attempted to apply it. Maybe, the formula was changed or we just got a bad batch but I won't be using it again! Once we washed the Equi-Spot off, she was fine.

Seems to work!
Sadly, donkeys are fly magnets and our donkeys are no exception. The flies torment them something terrible and we have a hard time keeping them away with the twice-daily fly-spraying that has always worked for our ponies. I was looking for something to help and this seemed to do it.
There are still flies, but they're better managed with daily sprays as long as I keep up on the Equi-Spot. I was concerned about sensitivivity, but none of our four (three donkeys and a mule) have showed any difficulties. The product is a bit difficult to apply without making a mess (even if you follow the video instructions) so an improved applicator would be nice, but it's not unmanageable.

Great tick preventative
This will repel and kill ticks for about two weeks but no longer. It, however, is not the best fly repellent.

Worked ok but horse allergic
This product did actually seem to work well. Unfortunately my horse was allergic to it. He had large welts at each application spot. My friend uses it on her horse and it works great.

Substantial Relief
My boy hates flies, and is unfortunately a fly magnet. This significantly reduces the number of flies on him, including the dastardly biting flies which always make a ride interesting in ways neither of us necessarily appreciates. He's also stomping his feet far less frequently, which is much better for his not-perfect hooves. He's a large chap so we typically use two vials for each application, but it's well worth it.

Helps ease the bug issue
I've used this product off and on for a few years and this year I found myself with a new horse who has major bug sensitivity. I'm never going another bug season without it. It doesn't work miracles but it certainly helps in between fly spray and I've noticed a big difference in the amount of flies and mosquitoes buzzing around her.

Great for everyday protection
My horse has a run out connected to his stall. It's great for protection when I can't spray him every time he goes outside.

No Ticks!
I successfully use this as one layer of protection on my Appy/Draft gelding (in addition to Bug-Off and Pyrahna ). He is turned out 24/7 with a run-in and we are avid trailriders. Ticks and their diseases are a big problem in our area and when I use this as directed I do not find ANY ticks on him and this is my 2nd year of using it during "tick season". I use a LOT LESS flyspray during the same time period and he is much more comfortable in general. So far, he is staying healthy, so it is worth the price.

Tick-free horse
It took a couple of applications to work fully as a repellent, but after the first application the ticks I pulled off my horse were dead or dying, and now that it's been 4-5 applications she has been tick-free for over a month. The applicator isn't very easy to use relative to how to measure how much product is coming out, but it gets the job done

Severely blistered my horse's front legs!
A friend at my barn bought 3, used 2 about 3 weeks apart on her horse with no reaction so I used it on Cort. He had welts all over his body where I dotted it and at 7 spots on his body he was raw from this product. In addition his front legs had raw weeping sores 48 hours after the product was applied. Used Vetericyn and Wonder Dust for about a week before all areas were on the mend. Will not be using this product again.

Helpful product.
My horse seems to be the only one out a farm of 15 attracting ticks! This has helped keep them away. You just have to remember to do every 14 days.

Really works!
Flies are a problem most of the year in my area so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try this. I noticed a dramatic difference in an hour! My horse went from a dozen flies to none, and it really lasts about 12-14 days.

Too many reactions
Belgian reacted immediately, tried to scratch everywhere treated for about an hour, then settled.
Arabian and Pony did fine with test spots, so treated the entire horse the next day. Pony did fine. The Arabian had sizable welts where treated the next day.
Disinclined to repurchase, but at a loss as to what else to try for the terrible ticks this year!

This works!!
EquiSpot is the only product I use for my horses to repel ticks. The tick is still able to bite them, but is quickly killed. I have had issues with Lyme in the past, but not since using this product consitanly.

works, but horses hate it
I've used this off and on for a couple of summers, and while it definitely helps keep ticks off my horses, they absolutely hate it when I put it on. One of my mares will literally trot off when she sees me coming with it, as soon as she hears the 'snap' of the capsule or smells it. My gelding stands quietly as I apply it, but once it starts to soak in on his legs, he proceeds to chew intensely at his skin. I can only surmise that it is irritating to them. I've given up on it and have gone back to rubbing repellent lotion on their bellies and wiping spray on their legs and bodies.

Tick control
I have been using Equi-spot Fly Control for many years now. Every two weeks (or 2 & 1/2 weeks) I apply this product to my three mares and it is very effective against ticks and also helps to repel annoying insects like May flies or black flies. Since my mares spend 4-6 hours a day on pasture it is very important that we have a bug repellent that actually works! I recommend Equi-spot for all horses from March until October in New England.

Long lasting relief
My TB has always been sensitive to insect bites. He'd be the only horse in the pasture covered in hives! Equi-spot really helps him. I apply it every 2 weeks as directed during the summer and it keeps him very comfortable.

Excellent product
My fields are loaded with ticks, I had to remove numerous ticks from the horses on a daily basis. We have had Lyme disease and Ehrlichia on the horses. Since starting the equispot, I find an occasional tick, but the horses are almost tick free. I highly recommend this product

We had no luck
I bought this thinking I would save on fly spray, and it would help my blind horse, being that she is afraid of sprays. This did nothing for my gelding against biting flies. It was like I never used it. My blind mare was afraid of it, because she is sensitive to scents. Will have to keep looking for something that will work.
