Mine was shipped in a box way too small so it was bent and the leather was damaged when I got it. Called customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do to ensure a replacement was sent in a properly sized box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Caymanz from Excellent half pad! I bought this for my WB a year ago. He’s young and fit, so I just wanted a half pad that was thin but still kept him protected. This half pad fits the description. I use it every time I ride (flatting and jumping). The material is top-notch and it fits my CWD saddle well. Only complaint is that the underside gets horse hairs caught easily, but in the product’s defense my horse is shedding quite a lot.

This does not add much bulk to the saddle, so if you saddle is fitted to your horse (which mine is), it still fits :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ahappycamper from Better than anticipated! I bought this pad based on my daughter’s recommendation who loves it for her show jumper, saying it was thin but very effective. I thought it was much thicker than what I had envisioned but it turns out to be extremely comfortable (once I got used to using a half pad at all). One of my geldings goes so much more freely with it, with more impulsion. Since that was what I needed, I give this half pad a top score.

I will have to use it longer to determine if it helps my horses back from chafing. The pad fits perfectly and does not slip at all. But I did get a golf ball out to check if it really absorbed shock like it said and it did keep the golf ball from bouncing so I think it will work well. I love the way it looks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elena from love this equifit is one of the best brands because of the amazing quality of their products. this pad is the same. i wanted to give my horses back protection without altering the fit. as another reviewer said it feels almost "bulletproof" to the fast and high impact. i found that especially on my older jumper whose back gets sore from time to time this pad had really helped especially when we jump. I love the black ostrich because its super subtle but gorgeous (plus i have matching equifit d-teq boots and the bonnet)
