Horse had a reaction
I tried it on my Chestnut OTTB Gelding. He broke out in the worst hives ever! I’m not going to use it but will offer it to someone else at my barn. I like Smartpak for other things, but this fly spray was not good for my horse and now I am afraid to use any fly spray.

Non-toxic and works
My horses don't object to Equiderna and its helping a lot since we are having a nasty flu season in Michigan. We spray this on our clothes and I use it on my bandana and cap brim to keep the lil' !#$%@&*! away from me too.

Works well and smells good!
A friend turned me onto Equiderma products, the shampoo is fabulous, and my show horse didn't like the "death spray" that I had. Don't get me wrong, that spray worked well but everyone in the barn would gag for minutes afterwards and my gelding hated it. This herbal fly spray works AND smells good...and my horse is not offended, lol!

Terrible allergic reaction!
Gave my TB AWFUL hives and welts! Couldn’t figure out what was going on until someone mentioned another horse at the barn had similar issues. No more hives or swelling after stopping use. Disappointing since I love the equiderma lotion!

I like it!
I had the bottle for a year and tried mixing it with Espree or Pyranha and it didn't work, so I used it straight and it at least kept the flies off her for a day, unlike straight Pyranha.

unable to really evaluate accurately
I purchased this product in hopes that a novel product might work on my sensitive boy. I try to use non-synthetic products on him, but have found that some of the "natural" products bother him, i.e. geranio. I tried test patch on shoulder with no issue, so after hour or so did light spray. All seemed well until 2 hours later. The farrier had come and had completed front legs. He started on rear legs and Treasure started getting "antsy"-not normal for him during trim. We tried giving him a break and letting him move around a bit, but he became more agitated. Finally I took him into yard to walk and eat some grass. He was uninterested in the grass and started circling me at end of lead and acting like he wanted to lie down. After a minute of so of this behavior, I decided to hose him. After hosing, he settled right down and stood with his head in a droop of relief as the farrier finished.
I am hopeful that this will be a good product; gave the rest to my holistic vet friend to try. Unfortunately, it is my my understanding (from reading reviews) that there are a few horses that are sensitive to this product, including mine. I do think important to note that it took 2 hours for the reaction to take place, just FYI.

Keeps flies off my bug bait horse
Great fly spray with neem oil, a scent you are either going to love or hate. It's safe, no skin reactions on me or my horse who has severe sweet itch. If you were looking for a greener alternative to chemical sprays, this is it.

Great Product
The fly here in Kentucky have already been terrible!! My horses are covered. I have seen great reviews of Equiderma fly spray, I used it for the first and was shocked at how quickly the amount of flys decreased! I can not say enough about how much I value this fly spray already!

Gave my horse ellergic reactions
I followed instructions and used it sparingly, however my horse had hives all over the next day. I really like the Equiderma products, and I still use several of them, but this one did not work well.

Gentle on sensitive skin
I have been using this for a few weeks and have noticed an improvement in my TBs skin. Other fly spray was casing dandruff and dry skin but after a week of using this hes back to normal. It seems strong enough to last a day which is as long as he goes between sprays anyway.

Best I’ve found
This is the best fly repellent I’ve found. It smells great and the best part- my mare who is super sensitive to bug bites that turn into large bumps- the bumps literally disappear after applying Equiderma. Love this stuff! (I don’t have to worry about “overspray” on me :)

One of the Best I've tried.
I have been using this fly spray for a couple of months now and am impressed with how well it seems to be working. N ow no fly spray repels 100% for as long as they say, but this spray is keeping my horses more fly free than most.
