I have been a treat giving horse person for my whole life. That came to an end when all three of my boys were diagnosed with PPID and IR. I hated the confused and disappointed looks on their faces when it was time for a treat and all I could offer was a tablespoon of ration balancer. I was thrilled to find all natural, non-gmo treats that were blood sugar safe. All of my horses LOVE these Apple Pie equi treats. They smell wonderful and I feel good about what I am feeding my precious horses. These were bought as a Christmas present for my barn babies but they ended up being my best gift. I have reordered the “big†bags and intend to always have these thoughtful treats on hand.

Great treat or "persuader"
Order these for gifts and for treats in feed buckets. Especially helpful to persuade a picky eater when adding medications. Most recently during the blizzard, a few were crumbled into warm mash, along with extra salt. Buckets licked clean.

Great find for my PSSM horse
I was happy to find these treats for my PSSM horse - she loves them and they have no added sugar, giving me peace of mind. She does stretches for these rather than carrots. I love the 4lb. size as all my horses like these. They're great to keep in my pocket to reinforce training, especially for latest addition who is VERY food motivated.

All three of my horses love them.
I didn’t think my horses liked peppermint until these treats. I look for healthy low sugar options and these fit the bill but I was worried they wouldn’t like the flavor based on past experience with peppermint. Surprise, they love them! I also like the smell, makes the tack room smell good lol and the small size is handy for training and carrying in your pocket. Will definitely be ordering them again.
