The best curry comb EVER

Mixed feelings
I loved this curry for my sensitive mare, but the handle broke off on one side after less than a year of use due to the metal rivet holding it rusted and broke off. I can still use it but its harder to hold on to.

Best rubber curry
This is my new favorite rubber curry for my half TB thin-skinned gelding. It's effective at
loosening and removing dead hair that I didn't even know he had so much of!! The curry is bendable and can be used on legs and the nubs are just the right length and soft, but not too soft.

Wonderful at grooming!!!
I bought this last summer, and I LOVE this! I use it for currying my horse's legs, especially when they are caked in dried mud. It's very flexible, so you can go around the curved areas around the horse, especially the hocks, knees, fetlocks, and legs. The material is durable and I have not had a problem with any tears or breakage, plus it is waterproof! The grip is amazing and never slips while grooming. However, the only downside was it had a horrible smell that was very strong after I opened it. It was a little strange for a curry comb to have a bad smell, but thankfully it wore away after a while. This is a perfect tool for every rider! I FOR SURE recommend!!!

Great for sensitive horses!
I primarily ride thoroughbreds at my barn and most of them have extremely sensitive skin. I had been using the brushes at my barn when I finally decided to my own set. I was honestly going to just get the cheapest one smartpak sells but after trying it (my friend has one) I was not impressed, and neither were my horses. I decided to spend the extra $7 and get this one because it seemed a bit better for horses with sensitive skin. I have to say it was definitely worth it. I would recommend this curry to anyone who has horses with sensitive skin or want a slightly more gentile clean.

Best curry yet
It's so soft and works great on their legs and face. Even the Thoroughbred likes it!! My only issue is the handle wears out before the curry does :(

Super flexible
This would be a 5 star product but one of the clasps that hold the handle on came out about the third time I used it. I easily fixed it with a Chicago screw but would have thought it would last longer. Regardless, it’s worth it. My horse loves being groomed with this.

Just perfect
I bought this because I couldn't find normal rubber curries anymore. The stores seem to only have the hard plastic ones. This curry is a bit pricey but it is worth it. It's exactly as the other reviews say. It cleans great whether the horse is dry or if you want to use it as a scrubber with shampoo. It deep cleans and is comfortable to use.

None better!
I'm ordering another for a gift. I couldn't find a suitable replacement for my aging mini jelly scrubber, so I took a chance on the Epona. The pictures and description can't begin to show how flexible the Epona is. It conforms comfortably to my hand and the strap keeps it secure. It follows the contours of the lower legs and other tight areas nicely. It makes currying the body much easier. You can put more energy into it, including on the legs, which helps pull more dirt and hair out. The knobs look like they will be too stiff, but they aren't. The whole is better than the sum of its parts, as they say. It is fantastic at pulling out a shedding summer coat, caked on mud, and dust. You can tap it to get the hair out, and dunking it in a bucket of water cleans it up.
A young woman with an intellectual disability is grooming and riding my Paint gelding in her therapeutic riding lessons. She was able to do a much better job currying with the Epona versus the old-style stiff blocks. We encouraged her to focus more and put a little more effort in because she could see the dirt and hair. That helped her improve her brushing, getting rid of so much dirt and hair. She got a nice clean horse for her efforts, especially the white parts, and that brought out a big smile.

Best curry for sensitive horses
Bought this to use on my touchy/sensitive horse, for whom I always have to be extra gentle while currying because it’s his least favorite part of grooming. The nubbies are soft enough and gentle enough to go down his legs and all over his belly and he doesn’t mind it the way he minds a regular curry. Love this thing.

Great curry
My horse is very sensitive to being curried and brushed and just generally dislikes the entire grooming process. I got this curry in an attempt to find something effective that he isn't too bothered by, and I definitely really like it. It's very soft and flexible and does a great job of getting the dirt off. I can use it on his legs and face too. He still doesn't like being groomed but he does not particularly object to this curry comb like he has others that I have tried in the past. Great for sensitive horses while still being a really effective grooming tool.

Flexable, comfortable to hold
Best curry brush out there hands down. The right amount of softness and right amount of firmness. Dirt and hair gets trapped in brush rather than just on top of coat. Just tap it out and dirt hair falls out easily. Everyone of my horse friends will be getting one of these from me for Christmas. Love this curry. You wont be disappointed!

Soft and sensitive ottb approved
I bought this for my ottb mare who is both uber sensitive and at this time of year super itchy. She is leaning into this curry and acting like I"m massaging her whereas every other curry she "tolerates". Highly approved for those sensitive types. I LOVE this curry!

My horses lip says it all!
Just got this a few weeks ago, so far we both love it! It’s flexible, but tough enough to break up mud and dirt. You can use good massaging pressure and it’s not too much for sensitive horses skin. I’ve used on my horses legs, and he doesn’t seem to mind it. He loves it on his rump area so much his lips move and he leans on it, highly recommended. Seems durable, haven’t had it long enough, but since it’s softer than a “normal” curry it probably shouldn’t crack for a good long while.

I’m a sucker for any sort of grooming gadget - but my horse may love this more than I do! It’s soft and flexible but pulls up an astonishingly large volume of dirt and hair. I’m buying a second one to keep in the wash rack!
