Comfortable, good value
I gained a few pounds and outgrew my pull on tall boots. Not wanting to invest in new tall boots quite yet, I was looking for a nice pair of half chaps. For the price, these are nice, comfortable and well made. They have a good quality zipper.
I think they fit a little wide. I ordered medium which matched the measurements but they zip up a bit too easily--worried they will be slouchy with time. I wore them and got them covered with horse sweat so didn't want to exchange for smaller size.

Great half chaps for the price!
I have been searching for half chaps and have had trouble finding a good fit. My calves measure just under 15" around, and I'm short. Most I've tried on are way too tall, and often too tight. Ordered these according to measurements and they are perfect! Haven't ridden in them yet so can't speak to durability.

Great half chap! Runs big.
This is a great suede half chap. Well made of sturdy materials - you won't be disappointed. I measure at 15.0" calf and 16.5" height, so I originally ordered a Large Tall per their sizing guide. I ended up with a Medium Regular which fits perfectly. I would order a size down from your calf measurement. I had a Medium Tall in a similar Tredstep half chap, which fit a bit snugger.

Fit well, but not smooth
It had a grainy texture right out of the bag which I thought would work well for grip. However these got sweaty, bunched up, and now the bunched up bits are hard and feel
like wallpaper. I can’t imagine they feel nice
on the horse’s skin. I’ve had other suede ones in similar price range and they always looked clean and smooth. I would say skip these.

Great value
I bought these chaps to use for schooling to mitigate wear for my tall boots. They fit true to size, though if you have slim calves and ankles, they may shift downwards a little after strenuous riding. I’m also impressed the dye didn’t seem to run on my tan breeches.

Love these!
Exactly what I was looking for. Just a nice, simple pair of half chaps that wouldn’t break the bank. Flattering and comfortable, they don’t get too hot. My calves measure 13.5 at the widest and I went with a small as I like a snug fit. Wee bit tight on the ankle but I just don’t usually zip them down all the way and they work fine. Would buy again.

Perfect!
The Eliza suede half chaps are everything I need in a schooling half chap! Comfort, custom-like fit due to the stretch panel, excellent heavy duty zipper which is top down!! They are sturdy yet light weight and so easy to wear. I really love them!

A half chap that actually fits my leg!
I LOVE these half chaps. I'm tall and broad. 5'10", 190lbs. I've always had issues shopping for boots and half chaps. Generally, if they're tall enough, they don't fit my calf. If they fit my calf, they don't come anywhere near the back of my knee. These ACTUALLY fit. I have an approximately 17" calf, and ordered the Large Tall size. I might have also been comfortable in the XL, but I like the super snug fit of the Large. The stretch panel is really impressive, stretching to accommodate my leg without cutting off circulation or looking really weird and distorted.
I've only ridden in them twice so far, so we'll see how they hold up, but for this price I really have NO complaints.

Better than expected
Pluses-price, fit, appear well made, good for schooling
Minuses-closure over zipper is Velcro, not snap so doesn’t look quite as good but will be easy to use and durable
