Nice boot I think
I bought this boot for my horse that just went barefoot. It is easy to measure the hoof for this boot because you can measure in inches whereas the other boots are in mm and very difficult to measure. This boot seems to be designed well and opens up wide so it is easy to put on. I returned this boot for another product because it was too bulky for my horse. Apparently he has a narrow stance. He would hit himself each step with it on and that was just with one boot on.

Worked for Turnout
I bought one of these for my 3 year old Quarter Horse that's been on stall rest due to a lower pastern laceration. I wanted something to protect the bottom edge of her bandage while she was turned out-even if she got a little rambunctious. It stayed on well when she was bucking and kicking and kept the bandage mostly clean. I did use a pastern wrap from another site to go over the bandage before putting the boot on and I think that made all the difference in the world. It stopped the boot from rubbing at the bandage and rucking it up. I think it would be a size too big if she didn't have a bandage and she was freshly trimmed, but it works well for what I need (The bandage wasn't too bulky; I used one thin sheet of cotton wrapping, vet wrap, and Elasticon). Overall, I am satisfied with the boot and would recommend it in the future.

They’re fine.
I bought these about a month ago and I followed the size chart to a T but I had to leave one on for a week since she had an abscess and once they broke in they stretched a bit or something and don’t fit anymore and turn on her feet but I’m not sure I could have put them on if they were a size down. They seem like decent quality though as they should for the price.

Super Heavy Duty
My mare has only worn these a handful of times but they seem very durable and secure. I also have a pair of the old version Easyboot Trails and these are much better by far, I expect them to last a long time!

Rugged boot!
Our SSH mangaged to keep these boots on during a rugged trail ride. The only thing was that the boot twisted, so the toe ended up facing outward. We think we just didn’t have the boot fastened down tight enough. They seem like they are very sturdy and will last a long time. Be sure you size the boots according to the specific style boot you want. Each style has a different sizing chart.....we learned that the hard way, having to return small ones for the correct size.

my mare loves her new boots
She has been using them for a few weeks now and she did not object to wearing them from day one. I ride trails but mostly got the boots for her to use on the roads before we hit the trails. Our roads are made of millings which are broken up pieces of asphalt. She was always tenderfooted and ouchy on the roads. Now I can trot her and she does not miss a beat. So thrilled with my purchase and did lots of research before I chose the Easy Boot Trail. Very easy to get on and off.

so far horse likes
I bought front boots for a rescue horse I adopted that had really bad feet. She had very soft crumbly frogs, and a coffin bone chip in front. She goes lame when ridden at a trot or canter. I have hand walked her a few times and been on her back once with the boots, walking in the arena. Along with supplements, a good farrier, no trotting or cantering, and TLC, she has not gone lame wearing the boots.
I did have to exchange one boot before I used it due to mis sewn piece that caused part of the boot to extend into the hoof area. Cheaply made but hoping they last due to the expense.

Love it, BUT....
My arthritic senior has been using these for about three years. The boots seem to increase his comfort when we go out for walks, and the construction holds up well. Unfortunately, the snug strap tears into two pieces long before the boot needs replacing, and the replacement for my guy's size is always out of stock at Easy Care Inc. It would be helpful if the boot came with a replacement strap -- the last one began tearing within the first month. Frustrating.

Fabulous Fit
It took me three tries to get the right size. I just love the girls at SmartPak. If I had any suggestion it would be that if you don’t know your horses size and even if you measure it could be a little off instead of ordering four of the same size order for different sizes and see which one fits the best that we only have one send back. The returns were credited very promptly which was great because it was $399

Fine if all you do is walk.
Practically every time my horse trots, she pulls the front one off with her back hind toe. Worst going uphill. They are extremely durable, putting in 30 miles a week. Have used for 3 months and no signs of wear. Fairly easy to put on. Simply not designed for trail riding at any other gate than a walk.
