These Are Okay
I bought these in hopes of not immediately ruining my Dubarry boots in the barn immediately. These are a pretty good second choice. I wore them on a weird breezy but warmer fall day and got very sweaty. After wearing for a couple of hours and riding in them, my feet were absolutely killing me. I think I'll need to add inserts to make these bearable. I have long narrow feet and muscular calves and these fit well. They look nice and will hopefully do the job though.

Perfect boots
I’m so happy I bought these. My current muck boots recently started ripping at the heel so I needed some new boots that I could wear while working at the barn. These boots are the go-to boots for a lot of ladies at the barn and now I can see why. I also love the fact that I can also ride in them too so no more switching out boots!

Fit perfectly!
I was recommended (by several people) to try these boots, after a different brand I tried was a huge fail. The other brand was big in every single way, so I was a tad nervous these would be the same way on me. But they fit perfectly!! They’re a bit flat, but if it ever starts to bother me, I’ll just buy inserts for them. If you’re on the fence about buying these, I say go for it!

Footbed is like a rock!
These are gorgeous to look at but I had read many reviews on other sites that the footbed was painfully hard. I didn't see many reviews here indicating such so thought that this issue was updated. And the fact that Smartpak offers free returns on items that don't fit put me at ease. I put them on and they were like standing on a rock with no cushion. I don't have sensitive feet either and can normally order online. They look like they are very well made so I can't complain about that.
Also, I am a solid size 8 in most shoes but my toes were hitting the end.
The final note - I purchased the dark brown which are so pretty in the photo. However, the photo isn't at all like the product. They literally are dark brown and all one color. Even the photo on the box was incorrect. But, thank you to Smartpak for allowing me to return so easily!!
So sad because these are beautiful but I am going to try another brand in this style.

Instep is so low I couldn't put them on
I bought these hoping for an upgrade from my old Ovations that are a similar style. The instep was so low I couldn't put them on. When I tried in thinner socks the inner lining slid down with my heel and I knew they'd never fit. Calf size is fine but the ankle is too small. A shame, as they are nice quality.

Dublin changed boot
Very disappointed. Boots look good but Dublin has changed their sizes.....my old river boots are size 11 and are about 6 yrs old......they have been great. I ordered same size and they are 1 - 1 1/2 sizes too small and they aren’t even comfortable anymore. I returned them and to look for another brand.

Beautiful boot
Bought a month ago and the fit is easy but a bit looser than I had hoped for through the calf as a regular size. I can’t rely on zipper tall boots as the high desert destroys them quickly so this was an option with the simple slip on design.

Beautiful boot but the calf is huge!!!
I bought these as a gift for a friend who liked my ancient Pinnacles. Now, I went with the country boot because she has very thin calves and I remember that in the past I couldn't even get my calf halfway into the River boots! Unfortunately they really changed them. With Jeans, my calf probably measures 15.5" and I was able to slip these right on and had way too much room left to spare -- I could easily stick both hands in -- I can't imagine what they would look like on someone with thinner calves. Sadly I returned and will try another style. PS...I'm a 6.5-7 foot and these were a little generous for a 7 -- but an innersole or thicker sock would have made them perfect!

Great boots, but colors shown are incorrect
Love the boots - these are my 3rd pair - but the pictures showing Tan and Dark Brown are incorrect. The picture labeled as Dark Brown is actually Tan, and the one labeled as Tan is Dark Brown. I ordered Dark Brown with the assurance that the picture was correct, but received a box labeled Dark Brown and darker boots. If you check out the Dublin website, it shows the correct colors for Tan and Dark Brown.

Disappointed
The Dublin riverboat has been my favorite boot for years.... I was very excited to get my new pair. However, I didn’t realize the fit was much different in this generation of the boot.... the calf proportions are very large for the regular calf size. Disappointed.... will be returning.

Very different from earlier version!
I love my old Dublin River and Dublin Pinnacle boots for comfort and usability as well as looks. My old pair are getting old so I ordered the new version. Same boot, same size. Totally different! First off, I read that they changed the material - this material is WAY stiffer. One of the nice things about the River boots has always been their suppleness. These ones, even after walking some, stand up entirely on their own with no crease or give, they are actually pretty hard. They are also a weird proportion - much looser in the ankle and tighter in the calf. I'm so upset that Dublin will no longer be my go-to boot! I will be returning these and don't know if I'll be trying any others. Looking at the dates on previous reviews, I'm guessing that some reviews are actually about the older versions of the boot - be aware!

Need these with a narrower calf
I have been coveting these boots for ages and was so excited when they arrived. The color and style are really nice and they appear well made. I am a 5' tall petite woman and ordered the regular calf width in a size 6 (which is my usual size). I absolutely swam in these. I understand they are a slip on boot and not meant to be snug, but they were just way too loose to wear and enjoy. I had read the sizing guide and thought I might be able to snug them in but there is limited adjustment possible. I wish Dublin would step up and offer a boot which fits those of us with smaller frames. Review rating based solely on sizing and not overall quality of product. Sadly being returned.

My favorite winter boots!
What I love most about these boots is the fact that I don’t have to break them in. I work at a barn daily, and these are my fall/winter go to work boots because they don’t fall apart fast due to working in the elements. They are comfortable, stylish, and warm! I want all the colors!

Disappointing
I’ve only worn them a handful of times for short periods and the lining on one of them is already torn and loose enough that it gets stuck under my heel. Unless I cut out the lining, which seems uncomfortable, they are essentially unusable. This isn’t my first pair of river boots- the last ones lasted years so this is really a let down.

Not the Greatest
The boot was alright. However it did NOT hold up to everyday wear or even if I wanted to layer up. Had them for less than a year and the lining in the heel quickly ripped apart and trapped my feet in my boot, giving me a hard time taking them off. Eventually, It got to the point where I couldn't get one of my feet out of the boot and I had to cut the boot. While very comfortable and easy to clean, I would not get this boot. Replaced it with the Morretta Nella boot and was sooo much better.

Sad about the inside lining
I love these boots. I really do. They are so comfortable and nice to work long days at the clinic in. However i have not had this pair even two months yet and the inside lining is already starting to tear out with my foot.... Soon my boots will be stuck on my foot without me having to ruin them. I hate that. :/

Nice boot but NOT FOR PETITE
I just ordered these boots and they are beautiful quality but omg they are not at all intended for petite riders. The calf is insanely wide (just standard regular size according to the box) I could fit my arms in with the calf. The ties at the top don’t adjust enough to make them even remotely wearable. Wish these came with calf sizes

Comfortable boot but no support in ankle
I recently purchased this boot as my old ovation boots needed to be retired. After looking at all of the other boots, I decided to stick with Ovation. Once these boots came I was so excited, however, they have no support in the ankle, are extremely big in the foot bed, and they are too small in the toe. I really wanted these boots to fit, however their fit is extremely odd (too large in some places and too small in the other places...)

Awesome boots!
I just love these boots for the winter. My feet stayed dry and warm. The leg part has good structure and doesn't collapse. Would order them again if I had to! Got them in black.
