Beautiful boot, questions about stretch
I bought these a month ago at the recommendation of a SmartPak customer service rep who suggested they might work for my normal leg, skinny ankle setup.
I love the modern look of a square toes dress boot so that's just what I was looking for. I'm concerned and a little confused by the fit, but cautiously optimistic: the boots zipped perfectly the first time without struggling. But they seem snug. Due to the elastic panel I assume going down a size would just make the elastic stretch out and the zipper give up. The SmartPaker who answered the phone said she owns a (different) pair of DeNiros and she believed the not-insanely-tight fit was appropriate for the elastic panel.
If they stretch much at all I will be disappointed but they're a beautiful boot that fit nicely right out of the box. (They could be a tiny bit narrower in the ankle for me, though!)

Super comfy
No need to break these boots in, they fit like a glove and were super comfy from the start... Not sure how long they will last if worn every day, but I'm using them for competitions only at the moment - I've had several people asking what make they are and admiring them.. I've had trouble finding boots that fit around top of leg as mine are quite slim & most boots are too big - these are great!! Would Definetly recommend them...

Like wearing knee high bedroom slippers riding!
I wanted to replace a pair of stiff dressage boots with no zippers because I struggled so badly to remove them after riding. I ride dressage but don't love the stiff traditional feel of "dressage boots" so wanted a dress boot that was softer and more comfy. I got exactly what I wanted with these boots. They are gorgeous soft leather, leather lined, and the zippers placed at the back of the boot don't bother me in the least. These boots are like wearing slippers! The footbed is comfy and as long as I don't wear too-thick socks, they fit perfectly. Now I'm worried they will wear out too soon from schooling in them! Would it be crazy to order a second pair now just for showing?? As great as these are, maybe not!!

Wonderful, stylish...amazing boots!
Purchased these boots a few months ago and have never felt so stylish and comfortable!
These boots are very true to size, so make sure that you accurately measure your legs. My boots have collapsed a little bit around the ankle, but they don't sag down my legs or look chunky around the ankle. They hug my calves really nicely, too.
I think the only tiny problem is that while the square-toed style for the foot is gorgeous and classy, it is also quite narrow and shallow, so I would recommend either purchasing half a size larger than your normal foot size. However, I simply removed the insole from the boot and replaced it with a simple "Dr. Scholl's" 3/4 orthotic-like insole and it has worked perfectly! I don't walk around in my boots too often because I want to keep them looking nice, but on the occasions that I have, my feet remain comfortable and it hasn't been a problem at all.

These are the most comfortable Boots I've ever had!!!! Wore them right out of the box, not one rub, nothing! I've gotten sooo many compliments on these boots. Once these go I will be buying another pair!!!

Amazing Boots!
I am so happy with my purchase of these boots! I originally wanted to buy them with laces but at the time they were out of stock, so I bought these instead. I am very hard to fit, because I tend to be between sizes on boots but these fit like they were customs. I receive many compliments when I wear them at shows. I love how they have the look of Parlanti boots but they are much cheaper. It was love at first sight, they are beautiful, well made boots!

I ordered the dress boot, however was shipped the field boot. Didn't send them back bc they take some time to ship. Other than that these boots are great! Soft and easy to break in and very trendy. Can't get Parlantis to fit me but these do and cost less too.

Beautiful boots, no break in needed
They are beautiful boots - no break in needed. Snaps look magnetic, and they are easy to, well, snap. The ankles are fashionably narrow, but plenty of room in the calves with stretch. At first, I thought they might be too buggy, but in the saddle quickly realized that the design is functional and beautiful. I love beautiful and shiny oval logo mark.The only reason I did not give 5 stars for durability is because I only used this pair for a month.

Really nice.
Just got these and they're exactly what I wanted. I'm 5'6, average build and I got extra tall height and extra slim calf size. I was just barely able to get them on so they're the right fit and they're probably a half inch too tall so when they drop they'll be perfect. They are basically Parlanti's but significantly cheaper and taller, however they don't run in as slim sizes so if you're super thin, these might not work. The leather is nice but not super thin/soft which is what I prefer. I like a sturdy boot and I hate the wrinkly look of Monacos. I know everyone loves Monacos but the wrinkles look sloppy to me and obviously they don't last very long.
The details are cool. Square toe, nice snaps, top snap is elastic and there's also a leather loop/hook that keeps the zipper from unzipping, so psyched about this!
I ride jumpers on the A and AA circuit and like a more styley, modern look. I dislike field boots because the laces, that have no purpose, get dirty and trap grime underneath them. The dress boots are a cleaner look IMO and a lot easier to polish.
Lastly, sorry if this is inappropriate, but I highly recommend women measure their calf and try boots on a week after their period. There's an inch difference in my calf size when I'm on my period, when my calf is ginormous, to a week after. I've read a lot of reviews on boots that said the smallest calf size was too small and perhaps for some of these people the above might be a reason why.

Too big
I have been anxiously waiting for these boots for months! When I pulled them out of the box they were beautifully made and the leather is gorgeous. I ordered a size 6 with an XS calf thinking it would be a great fit, but unfortunately, the foot, ankle and calf were way too big. I could actually stick my hand down the side of the boot. Needless to say, I'm back to the drawing board looking for a boot that fits a small foot and a skinny calf.
