Love these boots!
I have two horses that habitually pull shoes that now live in bell boots 24/7 (and live outside 24/7). I've been using these for several months now, and they've held up quite well! No rubs either. There is still the occasional lost shoe, but not nearly so frequently as before. Very happy! I am guessing I will get about 6-9 months per pair, but maybe they will hold up longer :)

fairly tough, wish they were tougher
I buy these for my OTTB who is very tough on bell boots and likes to pull his shoes ALL THE TIME. Who knows if these actually help him keep them on but it makes me feel better. I go through a pair every 3-5 months or so because the velcro will eventually rip off. I just think "at least its not his shoes or heels". I like to buy different colors so he will look silly when they don't match after he rips one off. Wish they lasted longer but they're not terribly expensive so fairly good quality for the price. Just FYI the rubber of the glitter bell boots is thinner than the rubber in the regular colored ones.

Doesn't live up to hype
My horse lives in bells 24/7. He isn't particularly hard on them though, and it takes him several months to go through even thinner rubber ones. Generally his problem is either slicing the rubber or taking out chunks along the bottom until I replace. When his last pair finally needed replacing, I tried these Davis boots. I've heard great things, and thought the difference in material would help. These boots lasted less than a month until the velcro on one came off completely. There's no rips or damage, just the stitching holes where the entire base is gone. We've never had issues with velcro coming off before, and very disappointed in how quickly I need to replace these, especially as these are more expensive than most brands I buy.

do help with keeping shoes on
I bought these because my mare frequently pulls front shoes when turned out. Even has done so with the bell boots, but not nearly as much as without. These boots have a good length for that purpose, but I do find the velcro doesn't last very long. It is simply too thin, and the stitching is also minimal and wears out. Others in my barn have quit using them for that reason. I have continued to use them as their fit works best for my horse.

These fit well and really like the pliability of the rubber. I was just slightly disappointed that these are fitted with double straps. I've had both styles and prefer a single set of straps.

Tough and well made
These boots are heavier than ribbed boots that I have used. They are easy to clean due to their smooth finish and so far unlike ribbed boots I've used in the past, have not torn or been chewed. I have black, navy (dark) and sparkly purple....which is outrageously sparkly!

Great fit
I purchased these for my haflinger mare who has large feet and requires an XL boot. They fit great and look great. Davis bell boots are very durable. My mare has to wear bell boots with shoes on turnout or she'll step her shoes off when she over reaches.

Large enough finally!
My warmblood has size 5 feet and it's been havoc trying to find bell boots that for him correctly! I ordered the draft size and they fit all the way down to the bottom of the hoof properly. The only issue is they are a little large at the ankle.

Long Lasting
I purchased a pair of Davis boots for my first horse over 10 years ago and schooled in them 4 days a week and evented in them every weekend and he is still using them today retired in the pasture every day. they are a bit faded but still in great shape. Any other bell boots I purchased for my other horses have dry rotted in less than a year so I'm getting her a Davis pair.

Holds up nice!
I bought this about a month or so ago and I love them! They hold up way nicer than some of the other brands, including SmartPak's brand. The Velcro gets a little messed up from my horse romping, but they still stay perfectly on.

My horse has a knack for shredding even the most heavy-duty rubber bell boots, and she hasn't ripped these yet. The velcro on my last pair did give out eventually, but these have lasted much longer than any other boots I've bought.

Great bell boots
My mare is an extreme overreacher so bell boots are a must for her 24/7. I've tried other brands and this one has held up the best so far! The velcro is far superior to what is on other bell boots, and it comes in so many adorable colors! My thoroughbred wears a large and they fit her perfectly.

Durable and tough
My draft cross has bar shoes and a mis-shaped heel on one of his front feet from a keratoma that was surgically removed. The Davis boots are the right size to protect the bar shoes and his hoof while also providing enough room to avoid rubbing his oddly shaped heel. They hold up to strenuous riding including fox hunting and paper chases.

They fit!!
I have the hardest time finding bell boots for my 16.3h Percheron who wears a size 7 shoe.

Best price for these boots
All of my horses wear Black Davis bell boots when They get turned out. I found them to be the best brand that hold up the longest. However like any product these do not last forever so I order more as the old ones wear out and smart pak has the best price i've been able to find.
