I have been using this brand of fly mask for years
This is a great fly mask. Hard for the horse to get off, extra room above the eyes so less irritation, and looks good. I got the embroidery for free and it's very cute and helpful since everyone has this mask at my barn. I have been using this and super mask for years and I recommended this one even if it's now expensive because of the double sandwiched Velcro and the amount of extra room over the eyes. It is also very durable and covers more of the face.

amazing product
My horse doesn't like stuff near his face much less on it but he gets really droopy eyes during fly season. I was looking for a good quality fly mask for a great price and I found it. this mask works great look good and my boy is much happier.

Awesome Fly Protection
This Flymask fits all my horses perfectly & comfortably for each size horse I have. The last one I just ordered, I had SmartPak put the name on the Mask and it is done very professionally and the choices of color for the name is a nice option.

Quality and Fit!
My mare is small and I have trouble finding things to fit her. I bought the Yearling / Large Pony size and it is perfect. It fits her little head and is so comfortable. Excellent quality - would buy this again!

Sizing runs large
Although my gelding wears horse size halters and headstalls, this was actually too large. Unfortunately, I had it personalized with his name, my loss. Seems to be made okay, but one of his ears always slips to the forelock hole each day.

Great fly mask.
I bought this for my horse to protect his eyes from the sun, rather than for flies. It fits him great. Easy on and off, and he has not been able to remove it himself (yet). Its very durable, and cleans up easily.

Material stretches with use
When I first bought the fly mask for my mule toward the end of June 2015 and initially I was quite happy with it, thought it was the best fly mask ever. That said, she has been wearing it for a month; and no longer fits her, the material stretches; and I am not even sure it will make it through the summer. I keep cutting the velcro straps, to make them shorter, to keep the mask on my mule.
Initially, since I was happy with the mask, I bought one locally from another vendor. I am having the same problems with her mask.
I can honestly say, I've never had this problem on any other fly mask. The last couple of days I have noticed that the mesh is tearing. Even though my mule has been wearing this mask since late June and we are now in early August, SmartPak has offered a replacement mask or a credit to my account. I am impressed with the customer service I have received, they sincerely want to keep the customer happy.

Best fit and quality
Have used these for years. Only flaw is that even for my full size QH, If I don't get the yearling size, it WILL come off. The yearling size fits all but the big head horses, and even fits my TB mare well (does not have a huge head.) My only complaint is the sizing. But now that I know, it's not a big deal. Wish I could get the earless ones in patterns or pink stripes, but doesn't affect usefulness, so not really an issue. Love these fly masks above all others.

Great Fly Mask!
This is my second Crusader mask. I had one for my large mare, and have just ordered a smaller one for my horse-sized Hanoverian. These masks last a long time and can really take a beating. I've had the one for my mare for about 2.5 years and it is still in great shape! We even used it when she had an eye injury-hte darts above the eyes keep it from ever touching the eye itself. Excellent mask!

These masks are just too big!
I love these masks but sizing them is so challenging. I have an arabian but have to go even smaller for this mask to fit her. I just bought a second mask for my friend as a gift. Her horse's head is so much bigger then mine and the horse halter I have wont even fit at the first hole but when I put the horse size mask on...it was swimming on her head.....it would be a fly party inside that mask!

Fits great
I bought several of these fly masks. They fit just fine. I had them embroidered with their names. I decided to "Let Smart Pak Choose" the color on two of the fly masks. I got black which is like Charlie Brown at Halloween saying "I got a rock". FYI. Be a big boy or girl and choose the color for yourself. The embroidery was lovely in and of itself but the color of the embroidery was disappointing to me. I felt deflated.

strong, durable and and very horse friendly
I love the Crusader fly masks> I am so glad I discovered them, they are the only ones that seem to stay on. And my horses are comfortable in them. They are also easy to hand wash every once in a while and they last quite a long time... They are my favorite fly mask and believe me we have gone through many.

Lasts Forever!

This fly mask stays in place. The darts do keep it away from the eyes. There is enough mesh that my horse's face doesn't sweat in here in So Calif. The only draw back is that it will only last one season.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this mask!
We have a mare with a smaller head and cobb is too small...this mask fits her PERFECT and she has not been able to rub it off either...plus the eye darts keep the mask off her eyes, her last mask rubbed her raw. LOVE LOVE LOVE this fly mask. worth every penny! Thank you :)
