Stays on!

Mask with good coverage
Love the long nose, it prevents sunburn on the nose without using sunscreen. No ears makes it a little cooler. Light color also keeps the heat down. This masks stays put and so far herdmates haven't managed to pull it off

Protects the nose!
I buy this fly mask specifically for my white nose horse. He sunburns easily and the long nose on this mask protects the nose. The nose area does get dirty due to his eating, but, running it under the hose cleans it up nicely for next day use.

Very sturdy
I have 5 of these masks. They are the sturdiest and comfortable for my horses. This last one was the Arab size and I feel it fits most the horses best. The regular long is an inch too long for even my horse with a very large head. These masks last for years.

Nice Fit!

Very durable
This is a great mask with lots of coverage. Only downside is that the regular horse size is a tad bit small around the chin. The velcro barely fits, but it stays in place, unless one of the other goofballs tries to take it off.

Works perfect for my white nose horse
I bought this mask to cover the white nose of my quarter horse palomino. The hot Florida sun was starting to burn my horse’s nose. My horse does not like any kind of ointment put on his face so this was the perfect solution. Fit great and very secure, he can’t get it off. I do have to wash the area of the mask at his nostrils when he comes because it get dirty. Hoses right off, good as new.

Great protection from sun, sizing issues
I want to love this mask so bad. The sizing is so off its ridiculous. This is the 2nd mask I've purchased and my mare destroyed the first one. I got the first one with the ears, had to size up to a horse size because the nose was too short. This time I though "ok I'll get the one without the ears in the cob/Arab size and see if that fits better" thinking the ears were the problem. Nope. If she keeps her head down her nose is fine, but the nose is so short it doesnt even cover her whole nose. I'm at a loss. The horse size is too big cause of that stupid elastic.

Just what I’d wanted
This is my first summer with this particular lesson horse. One evening I went to get him and his eye was swollen and weepy. Poor guy looked miserable. At first I thought he’d injured it on something. Cleaned it up and put some medicine in it. Next morning looked ok. Next evening, same thing. FLYS! Ugh! Gotta love fly season.
SmartPak is my go-to because they have good prices, great products and phenomenal customer service. This horse is a palomino and has a white nose. Sunblock only lasts so long. So I picked the long nosed mask.
Soon as I put it on him he relaxed. His eyes look great now. His nose is protected from our Texas sun. It fits him great and he’s so happy to have it on I don’t see him trying to remove it.
I definitely recommend this mask.

Holds up great, nose seems a little shorter
I buy this brand for my pony every couple years as his turnout buddies like to play rough with them. Considering how hard he is on it, it holds up pretty well. This time though the long nose is a touch too short. Which is unfortunate because his nose is easily burned from him being a perlino.

Great protection
My Appaloosa mare does not have any eyelashes and has a pinkish nose, I ordered this to protect her from the sun. Fit perfectly., she did immediately roll in the mud and the mask was easily washed.

Nice fit especially with the long nose
Well fitting to my horse. I like the long nose to keep him protected from the sun and flies all the way down his face. The velcro is doubled to keep the other horses from easily taking it off his face. I also got it monogrammed which is an extra bonus.

Spot on!!
I bought this fly mask after having a lot of trouble with my gelding losing his last one. I was nervous about the sizing but it was perfect for him! His nose gets sunburned very easily and the length is just right to cover him up! I also like that there is a hole for his forelock so it’s not bugging him under the mask. I definitely would buy this mask for my other horses and even for a friend!

Good quality
Bought this for the purpose of pink nose sun protection and so far so good. My horse hasn’t gotten it off in the pasture even though it’s a little big on him. If your horse is in between sixes I’d go down a size.

Protects her pink nose
My bay mare happens to have an easy to burn pink nose and this provides some nice coverage. It does mean that her nosterals end up sort of caked in dirt all the time, but what can you do. So far so good with this mask.

I’ve had so much trouble finding a fly mask to fit my draft cross. I’m so happy I found this one!! My gelding is a Percheron & Warmblood, so the Warmblood size is perfect for him. I love it and so does my horse!

Very well made, fits really well
I have been using the regular Cashel masks for a year. I have an Appaloosa gelding with a white nose that always gets sunburned. I thought the long nose would bother him in the pasture, but he loves it.

Best fly mask I've used
I recently purchased my 9th Crusader fly mask for my 29-year-old. I use the long on him as it covers his nose where the flies seems to accumulate the worst. I also have the regular versions. They last for YEARS and never touch his eyes. Love Love Love.

Great sunburn protection!
I buy a new one of every spring and my white faced gelding wears it everyday to protect him from sunburn. I find the fit is true to size if you measure according to the chart. It is pretty durable. I rinse mine out daily and throw in the wash with my other horse's masks every one to 2 weeks to get it really clean.

good coverage
These masks are good for horses that have problems with flies in their eyes. My horse has had infections from flies & the masks have helped a lot. However, just be aware that here in Florida the heat is intense for the horse & full coverage can be a detriment. I use the long but monitor it here in fl. The Crusader is made very well.

Prevents a sunburned nose!
I bought this to keep my horse's nose from getting sunburned. So far so good! My only complaint is that it's a bit long (horse size) - even for my long-faced saddlebred. Not a big deal, especially since I want it to protect his nose.
