Works but a little big
I bought this for eventing competitions for my daughter who is a small adult (sz 4). It was huge on her so we had to tie it up in some odd places. I think it would work for an average sized person over a safety vest.

Odd Design
The cross in the back is in an odd placement. Don't like that the adjustment is done in the front.

Perfect for my competitions in eventing
Was happy to receive this item and it arrived a few days earlier than anticipated which was extra special.

No hassle
I bought this a week before the Horse Trials I was attending, and it was easy to get. When it arrived it was simple to use and fit well. Only thing is that the number holder was a bit small but I just folded mine.

Not a good product.
The space for a number is smaller than usual. I had to fold my number to fit in there (others from my barn didn't have this problem with their pinnies, which were larger). The straps are also ill fitting. They don't adjust in the back, so the criss-cross hit me in an awkward spot. It gets the job done but it's poorly designed.

Easy to use!
This was the best idea -- just put your number in, clip it on and GO! No more coming untied or needing people to help you get dressed. Awesome.

Easy to put on
This pinny has side snaps instead of the adjustable strings. It is very easy to put on and doesn't have to be adjusted every time. Also nothing flapping in the wind. Sleeves for numbers are slightly undersized - I had to fold the edge of the paper to fit the number in.

Huge!
I know that I am on the skinnier side, but even adjusted as small as possible, this pinny was still way too big. I ended up using safety pins to get the band around the torso small enough. Replaced it with a Shires pinny which is more comfortable and a better size.

Don't Bother...
Disappointed as soon as I took this out of the box--I ordered from SmartPak because the pinny I'd looked at elsewhere online showed crossed straps on the back, which I didn't want. However, when this one arrived, it had the same crossed straps--grudgingly, I decided to give it a try.
I am not a small person, but could not adjust this tight enough to be comfortable. When the over-the-shoulder straps were tightened up, the crossed straps in the back rode up onto my neck and wanted to rub and the excess strap in the front was exceedingly distracting. Also, since the upper corners of the actual number holder area are not attached to the straps, they wanted to flop down, which would make it difficult for the number to be read (and isn't that kind of the point?)
Bought a different brand from the vendor on-site at a show--much more functional/comfortable design. This one was sent back.

Water resistant
I am not a fan of these new pinneys. They are a bit stiff and awkward to adjust. They have a tendency to ride up since there are no laces to pass thru a vest.

Works just as it says it will
Very adjustable however, please know that even over a vest, they can be a bit big, nothing that a simple elastic band won't fix.

Gets the job done
Gets the job done. A little big, but I guess you could rig it up somehow so that the straps don't flap as much.

Huge!
Number slid in easily, and it seems well made, but the pinney is gigantic! I'm petite, and even with the straps adjusted as tightly as they'll go they flop around in between my arms and torso, causing a bit of a distraction. I've only used it once, so can't comment on durability. Probably would be a great product if it fits.

clunky
I used this at a competition and (while I thought it was adjusted snugly) it felt like it was flapping around the whole time. I forgot to take it to the next competition, and had to buy a different pinny from a vendor. That one has elastic straps on the side and seems to stay in place better.

This Pinney has adjustable straps on top and sides. Fits my very skinny 13 yr old very well.

Great Pinny!
Ordered this over a competitors because it had the adjustable side straps instead of the elastic. Adjusted to the perfect size so it sat flat for XC and didn't move at all. Fit better than the tie versions at most events. Price point was good, too!!

excellent purchase
Love adjustibility for both shoulders & sides. Looks to be very durible - good straps & clips for fastening. Have not used yet in competition, but have fit over vest & all indications are it will work very well & last well.

Show off your number!
I bought this pinny in order to modify it to be pinned on a western blanket for trail competitions.
Big enough I had plenty to work with! Inexpensive enough I didn't feel bad modifying it! The only one of its kind I have found on the market!!
