The Blocker Tie Ring has changed the way people tie their horses, providing a safe, humane way to tie your horse. Designed to be a support system rather than a restraint system, the Tie Ring allows a horse to pull slack in the lead rope when he panics or falls. This releases pressure and the source of pain or panic, dramatically reducing the threat of injury to you and your horse. Now the next generation of tie ring, the Blocker Tie Ring II with Mag-Loc, improves upon the original. The Mag-Loc feature holds the tongue in place, making the tie ring more stable so it can be mounted at any height. In addition to cross ties, single ties, grooming and tack areas, trailers, high lines, and picket lines, you can now mount the Tie Ring II on hitch rails. The lead stays on either side of the tongue preventing the tongue from sliding around the ring so your horse can safely pull slack from any angle. Caribeaner too small to use in my horse trailet
Hi, I like the Blocker tie ring, but it automatically comes with extra parts (eye bolt and a small caribeaner) that I don’t need or couldn’t use. I have to buy my own ‘beaner in a larger size to fit my horse trailer fittings, so I would rather be able to buy the separate pieces separately bc now I have pieces I won’t use.

Great for trailers!
My horse does not tie well which makes trailering tricky. I bought this for my trailer so I can tie her while I tack up. It works GREAT! I feel so much better knowing I can turn away for 2 seconds without having to worry that she is going to panic because she is tied.

Life Saver
I don't know what I would have done without this tie ring. My rescue horse had severe pulling back issues and he has been able to overcome those issues with the help of this tie ring. I will not tie him to anything without it!

perfect solution
My horse stopped pulling back & flipping over. It’s only been a couple weeks. His injuries from flipping over 8/26/18 are healing. He flipped over between a rock wall & the trailer w/one leg under the trailer.

Great for my special needs clients
My clients sometimes struggle with knot-tying, so it is wonderful for them to be able to lead their therapy horse up to the grooming area and safely tie the horse using the blocker tie ring completely on their own :) A great step towards feeling more independent, and they beam with pride when they are able to tie their horse without help. Stopped the pulling back
Bought this because my new horse was pulling back when tied. I used this tie ring and he learned to stand without pulling back and freaking out since the ring allowed a little give. He eventually stopped pulling at all.

Works Great
About a month ago my mare was tied to the trailer and was spooked by a horse at another trailer have a fit. When she spooked she sat back and luckily her the snap on her lead broke but unlucky because when it snapped she tripped and flipped over backwards, saddle and all. Luckily she was ok and just going to be sore for a couple of days. I had been meaning to get her a Blocker Tie Ring knowing when she spokes, she sits back. After that incident I bought one that evening! I have several friends that own them and I've seen them work wonders. I just kick myself for not getting one sooner.

I absolutely love this thing
My old barn got these a couple years ago and it worked wonders for my spooky mare, as soon as she spooked and started pulling back this thing gave her the rope, gave her her head and she calmed down enough for me to grab her. I just recently purchased a horse who likes to pull back on the ties and was worried about him pulling back too far and panicking so I bought one for myself. Haven't used it with him yet but very excited to try it with him!

I think it's a necessary item. I have faith that it will work correctly, maybe better than a piece of twine or the plastic clips. I think you have to have discipline about how you put the rope through to avoid a possible finger issue from what I've read, but I don't have a problem being careful about it.

The best!
I tie all my horses to blocker tie rings. I have had horses pull back when tied to them and they don't panic nor do they pull so much lead rope that they get loose. I recommend them to every horse person as one of the safest ways to tie a horse.

Good Tieing Option
My horse tends to spook over weird things. You think she would spook over a loud noise and she doesn't but then she gets spooked over a cat sneezing. So this the ring allows her to have a small release of pressure so she doesn't feel trapped.

Keeps my horses safe while tied!
I bought 4 of these. 2 for cross tieing and two for inside my side by side bumper pull horse trailer. These ties give me a sense of safety for my horses while they are tied. I have one two year old filly and I don't want her to learn that she can break away yet I also don't want her to get hurt. These ties allow the opportunity for a panic event with out the worry of escape. In the trailer they can use them the same way. I clip them inside when leaving and outside on the trailer when preparing for our rides. Love them no more bailing twine lol !!

Great for horses that cannot be tied.
When we bought our horse we could not tie her. She would panic. This gives and she does great with it. We can now tie her. She occasionally breaks her halter. So it is just easier to keep using this ring. I can even clip it on the side of the trailer at shows.
