Ridiculously huge!
Immediately I could tell these boots were going to be way too big for the front. My horse is 16.3 and not small bones, but he would swim in these. I ordered the full size because I was afraid the cob would be too small. Including a pic of the boots with my hand for reference.

Durable, Easy to Clean Boot
Love, love, love these boots! It has been hard to find a splint/brushing boot that can withstand the rigors of the trail, but be light enough to not interfere with movement over varied terrain. These boots have been through snow, mud, creeks and over fallen trees, brush—you name it, they’ve done it. And, to top it off, they are easy to hose off after a ride. The cost-effectiveness of these boots is an added bonus!

Simple and sturdy – These boots get the job done
Coming from an eventing and foxhunting background, I am a huge fan and proponent of brushing boots for schooling, hacking, cross country, going out on hunts, etc. I think they are such a great and versatile style of boot, but finding a good design that will also withstand the elements and stay sturdy can be difficult. That said, I think ARMA has just about cracked the code. These boots are just shaped/contoured enough to fit many different types of legs, even my horse’s chunky, tree-trunk legs. I appreciate how large the strike pad is, since that is one of the most important elements to the brushing boot design in my opinion. However at the same time, while it is a large portion of the boot, it is still flexible enough that it is not restrictive. Because of the rest of the boot’s honeycomb structured fabric, it barely retains moisture, and if it does, it dries off incredibly quickly. This makes it great for me out cross country or in hunts because mud and water do not weight the boot down or cause friction against my horse. I do find that after a long time and lots of wear and tear, sometimes one or two of the straps may start to give way, but these have last longer than any other boot I have ever tried. Plus any boot would understandably give way eventually after the wear and tear I put on it, so I am impressed with how long these do hold up

These seem like decent boots and I look forward to trying them. However, I bought size full for my 15.3/16h TB per the size chart, and they are HUGE. Significantly too tall for him to wear them. I will likely try a smaller size at some point, but be warned if you're questioning the sizing at all.

The BEST brushing boot out there
The ONLY brushing boots I will use. I use them for everything; lunging, flatwork, jumping, XC. Super breathable, protective inside, hold up super well. My first pair is over 3 years old and still in great condition. I purchased extras to have a set for the hinds, and a set to swap out when I'm too lazy to clean them, lol. Bonus points - I throw them in the washer! Dry in no time.

Pretty good boots
I bought these boots for lunging my horse at shows per my trainer. They seem to protect the inside of the legs well, and the elastic holds up. The only complaint I have is sizing. My horse is average (16.2 hh) height and the full size is a bit big around his lower leg. Not to wear I needed to return it, but there is a bit of a gap.

Great boots but be careful - they run SUPER large!
I love the boots. But the sizes are a joke. The "Pony" size is a little bit larger than Mediums of other brands. They fit my 15.0 h Paint mare's hind legs fine, but I thought they would fit her fronts. The "Cob" size is enormous on her, so I returned them. Unfortunately, SmartPak doesn't carry the "Small Pony" size, so I had to order a pair elsewhere. These fit her front legs.

Amazing product
I didn’t think it was possible to have breathable brushing boots but these are amazing. Sweaty horse with dry legs every time. Super lightweight with good Velcro and kick guard on the inside. Can’t recommend enough.

Definitely cooler than other boots
I chose these boots to offer some protection without increasing tendon heat too much. These boots definitely leave his legs cooler and dryer than fleece lined or neoprene (BOT) boots. They are a little tall for my barely 16h TB but do not interfere with motion. He wears the Cob in front and Full in back.
