Best barn boot ever!
Best barn boot ever! This is my 2nd pair as I literally wore the 1st pair out.
The boot fits well, is very comfortable and keeps me dry. It’s sturdy enough to ride in. It’s also easy to walk in and do all of the outdoor mucking. If one didn’t use them for the farm, they look great with jeans.

Could use some improvement
I have not had a chance to wear these very much yet. These are my initial impressions. They are easy to slip on. The toe box is a little narrow. The heel area is too wide. My heels slip up and down quite a bit while walking, so I will need to see if this tends to pull my socks down.

Great boot except...
I want to love these boots but they gave me such a blister on my heal that I have to wait until it heals entirely so I can try them properly. They are very high quality and cute, though. Suggest taking better precautions than I did the first time you wear them.

These are great! I needed some rain shoes, I have a high instep and a little bit of a wide foot, size 9. I was afraid they would be hard to put on, but they are not.

Great boots, Sadly not for me
I wanted to love these as I love my Terrain but sadly the are too wide in the heel. Had to return. Now saying that, I will add, these are, as all Ariat boots I have owned, are very well made, feel good (as long as I don't try to walk) LOL. I have problems getting boots to fit so sadly these did not, however, I still have my regular Ariat boots that I put on out of the box and can ride 50 miles or walk all day in. Great boots

Really Like These - May Get Pair For Riding Boots
I have feet problems. Need a wider toe box. I wear an actual size 8 1/2 but always get 9 for the wider toe. Wide shoes are to wide in the heel. I have a friend that wears an 8 1/2 wide. She kindly broke these in for me. They really were to narrow for HER. They broke in nicely and I wore them pressure washing the house so they really molded to my feet. I'm wearing a medium weight sock but can get a thicker winter sock in. I'm liking them so much I might get a pair to use as my riding boot as they do have a spur rest. I also at the same time got the zip up Terrain type riding boot, zip on the front. That break in isn't going so well. Very stiff and are narrow and hurt her feet. She really likes these Terrain Ease Waterproof over the zip up. She mentioned that she never gets Ariat as they are to narrow. I've been wearing these around the yard and to the barn. Love how easy it is to get on and off.

Exactly What I Needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a slip on, durable, waterproof, barn-friendly shoe for the permanently wet grass that starts in the fall, and this fits the bill on all counts. After trying a few other cheaper types I just gave up and went back to a real brand that I know personally works for me. They are pretty comfy to boot. Only thing that would make them better is if they also came in wide. They do run a smidge larger as others have noted so size accordingly. I have not had any issues with a slipping heel and can wear either winter or regular socks with them. I felt a small heel slip the first hour or two but they quickly settled in.

Comfortable enough for hiking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a little hard to get on, but I have an extra long shoehorn that helps. They are very comfortable, I feel safe walking in them as I have neuropathy and balance issues. These help a lot. I do wish Ariat made these in wide width, but I just bought a 1/2 size larger and it is working for me.

Comfort, ease and waterproof :)

Not suitable for barn work
These boots only lasted about 3 months of regular wear before getting surprisingly large holes in the leather. They really couldn't handle a regular amount of water around a barn (some mud, horse baths, cleaning water troughs, etc- never in huge amounts of water). I'm really bummed out, since they were very comfortable when they were broken in. To be fair, I didn't expect them to be actually waterproof, but they're very far from it. I guess they would be fine if you could keep them completely dry and only wear them gently... sort of defeats the purpose, though.

Best barn boot in decades!
These are the best barn boots I've had in decades. I got them early in the summer and sized down a whole size because I knew I would NOT be wearing heavy socks, which Ariat seems to assume in their sizing. I needed something waterproof for walking in wet pastures in the morning, but not heavy like a full workbook or winter boot. These are very durable and SOOOO waterproof! I love them. They felt broken-in right out of the box. They're also very comfortable for riding, paired with my Ariat half chaps, so I've barely used my paddock boots since I got them. I wear them 7 days a week and they're holding up beautifully.

Great shoe but...
Love this shoe except for one feature. The stretchy, neoprene on the top of the foot is not waterproof. They are very comfortable, fit well, and are waterproof except in the one spot. When bathing horses or walking through tall, wet grass, the tops of my feet get wet and it takes a while for that part to dry. I love the boots otherwise but that was disappointing.

Comfortable but not supportive enough
I’m a gardener and was hoping I could wear these in the mornings when dew is heavy. They are very comfortable but not as supportive as I’d like. Rolled my ankle twice in them, won’t be wearing again unless I’m walking on paved, even terrain.

Adorable Boots but not good for Narrow Heels!
I wanted to love these but could not find a proper fit. I tried my regular size and my heel kept slipping out. So I went down a size and it was too tight but my heel still kept slipping out. While I adore my regular lace up Terrains, unfortunately these just don’t fit.

Horrible fit at the ankle
These are super comfy aside from the ankle. The elastic causes the leather tab to rub ankles raw within minutes of wearing. Not sure breaking in would help, but no way I can tolerate waiting to see if they do.

Great shoes, very supportive, I sized down
The shoes are flexible, comfortable and waterproof as stated. Great support. The only negative is that since they are waterproof, they aren't very breathable. I would love a more airy version for summer, even if it meant they were not waterproof. Oh and I did need to size down from a 10 to a 9. Customer service was awesome with the exchange!

Great boots for riding and doing chores!
I wanted to give my Terrain Ease Waterproof boots a good test before reviewing. They really are all-day comfortable and durable. They are standing up to the muck and mud and feel solid (not heavy) underfoot. I typically wear a size 9M with a light to medium weight sock and did in these, also.
I really like the fact that they are designed for riding. Five stars for sure!

Crazy Comfotable!
Super comfortable!! I wear these shoes for 12+ hours a day 6 days a week in the barn and my feet never get tired. The top mesh part is not waterproof but the rest of the boot is very waterproof!

So far, so good
Shoes are comfortable, easy to slip on and off, and keep my feet dry. Working as expected so far. I use them to take my dogs outside. Wet grass, rain, and a light snowfall should be no problem.
