Very Warm but Short Sleeves
I live in a northern climate and ranch with my family So, during the winter months I need a coat that is warm, can withstand some wear and tear, but also stylish if I need to head to town. This coat fits the bill all except for the sleeve length. I am 5'9" and wear a large, and when my arms are at my side the sleeves end about two inches above my wrists. When I am using my arms/hands the end of the sleeves move up my forearm. I compensate with a base layer and longer gloves, but I wish that wasn't the case. I also tried on different sizes in the store after purchasing it online just to see if it was the coat. Regardless of size the sleeves were too short for me.

Favorite jacket but the zipper is cheap!
I love this jacket so much that I would buy it again- only if they changed the zipper. I’ve been stuck in the jacket multiple times because the zipper sticks. I just don’t even the zipper anymore… Which sucks on very cold days!

Great all around jacket!

I live the styling and the material stays clean and looks great to wear around town or going hiking and camping. The size is generous so if you are between sizes, you probably can go down to the smaller one. I had to send the 3x back for a 2x.

Durable and Warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m 5’8 165lbs and I ordered a medium and large. I decided to go with a looser fit and longer arms so I kept the large. If the medium arms were longer I’d gone with a medium. The large is roomy and covers my rear completely. I can definitely layer up if needed. Great jacket for all the elements.

Perfect jacket for conceal carry.
Quality jacket and prompt shipment. Just be aware that the sleeves are not very long and could be longer. When I reach they move half way up my forearms. Love the inner pocket with elastic gun strap.

Perfect Jacket!
This is such a nice jacket. I bought the Phantom and it’s almost black. It has nice features, 2 snap pockets at him, one zip pocket at chest large enough for a phone, and a “conceal carry” zip pocket inside, although the only thing I’m going to conceal is treats LOL! The sherpa collar is nice, the jacket has a quilt lining, and adjustable sleeves with snaps. The two-way zipper might be tricky, but the jacket has enough snaps that I might end using those most of the time. I wear size 6 but I know Ariat clothing runs small so I sized up and bought the medium. The sleeves are nice and long, and I can layer a thick sweatshirt underneath. It’s a perfect length with a longer back, which covers my butt. There are two snaps in back if you want to ride in this jacket. There’s a cord inside for shaping. The fabric sheds hay, and seems like it would also be somewhat water repellent. I wouldn’t say this is warm enough for really cold days, probably good to 35 or 40 degrees with a sweater. I’m really pleased with this jacket, and highly recommend it!
