They are amazing right out of the box! Fit like a glove and feel like a comfy tennis shoe!! Completely recommend these to anyone! I wear them as everyday boots, work boots, with jeans or leggings, or whatever! They are that comfortable and versatile!

Best Boots Ever
These boots were comfortable straight out of the box. Absolutely true to size. Flintstone feet sisters rejoice! These boots do not squish, compress, or pinch. They have worn 1 full year through Montana snow, mud, and summer. They are warm in the winter and still comfy in the summer. I hunt and hike in these boots, I dress these boots up for date nights. They do it all! The waterproofing lasts and they still look good after a year of abuse. The sole is still comfortable. These are in constant wear and have not disappointed at a single step. Buy these boots!

New vs old style
I was nervous about buying this boot because I loved the old twin gore style. I had bought my first pair ten years ago and the sole just now fell off. But the new ones are great so far and seem almost sturdier than the old pair.

A great product for people who do ranch work
This is both a riding and a work boot. Very durable, comfortable and waterproof. Not all spurs will fit but I found that a slimmer one is best.

Fantastic boot, with improvements
This is my 4th pair of these boots. As a full-time professional trainer, I wear them all day, every day, all year long, in all kinds of weather. I usually make it about 18-24 months before they need to be replaced, which is pretty good. I haven't found anything else that hods up any better, and these boots are by far the most comfortable option. They might last longer, if I took better care of them, but I hardly ever remember to oil them.
They are truly waterproof, which is great in the winter, when it's muddy, and in the summer, when I am rinsing horses after every ride.
Last time I needed a new pair, during the pandemic, I couldn't find them online (I live in a rural area, no stores), and I bought another Ariat boot, which was far less comfortable for my wide feet. I was very happy to find that these Barnyard boots were available again this year.
Every other pair has been tough to break in, because the ankle was so tight, I'd get blisters on my shin and calf for a few weeks til they stretched out. If you read the reviews, everyone else said the same thing. Well, this pair is different! Ariat heard us, and made the boot with a wider opening, and they are comfortable enough to wear for 10 hours on day 1! No break in period! All the great support!
Please, never stop making this boot. Nothing compares for comfort and durability.

Fantastic Boot
I bought these boots and I am in love with them.
The boots needed absolutely no break in period. The were comfortable from the moment I tried them on. The first day I wore them I walked about 4 miles. No blisters and no hot spots. They get more comfortable by the day.
They are easy to keep clean. They look great clean and dirty. No issues in rain or mud.
I absolutely plan on purchasing these boots again.

These are very comfy for a full days work at the barn. They’re great to just throw some half chaps on for schooling. I wear 8.5 slim in the contour field riding boot. A 9 in Keswick boot and an 8.5 in the Barnyard. Keep these clean and conditioned and they will last a long time. Abuse them and you get 2 years…maybe. I wear mine 4-5 times a week switching back and forth between the two. I like that the Barnyard is shorter than the Keswick. Neither one of these rubs my shin like some reviewers have commented. The footbed is very comfy. I do think the footbed in the Keswick is more comfortable though. It has excellent arch support. But I have both and interchange them and am a happy rider.

Great boots!
This boot is just fantastic. The fit is very true to size, and they are both comfortable to walk in all day as well as perfectly waterproof. I love that you can slip them on and off very easily. They are so versatile - I both work around the barn and ride in these boots. This is my second pair, after several years of extensive work in the first pair, they finally developed cracks, so I replaced them. I highly recommend these boots!

The terrible design of the boot actually hurts
The way they are designed around the top will cripple a person, it bits into your shin and the back of the s ankle, there is no getting away from from it. I sent mine back immediately. Very very uncomfortable boots.

Super comfortable and sturdy
I love these boots! I ordered a size 6.5, concerned that they might be too narrow at the toe, but they are just the right width and quite sturdy. They're super comfortable and great for working at the barn. Highly recommend.

Great, but size down!
Very comfortable, but I wish I would have sized down. I did not consider the fact that there are no laces to tighten the width of the shoe, so my normal size is too big in these. I will probably buy a smaller pair in the summer when I'm not wearing thicker socks. Very comfortable though, and I love the slip on quality! I think these will last a long time.

I absolutely loved the old model of these!
I have the dark brown older model. H20 performer pros. They’re literally my most favourite boot of all time. I don’t care what colour they are (although dark brown matches your half chaps!) as long as you keep the design the same.

Replacement for Zip Terrain
Really bummed Ariat quit Womens Zipper Terrain. These run large. For 30 years, I wore a 7.5. Had to return these for a 7. Love the slip-on and off. Footbed is the quality you would expect. Overall, I’m pleased after several months use.

Please Bring Back the original model Barnyard H2O
I have lived in these boots for years! Why did it have to change? Tried the new model and it hits in the wrong place on my shin. The old loose topped slip on Barnyard H20 was perfect. The side zip model is too firm at the top. Please bring back the original model!!

I want to leave a review for the style that I currently have worn for 7 years, but they are no longer made. The picture is the bottom of the Barnyard boot with dark leather. I swear why these boots. I was bummed that they were no longer made! PLEASE DO NOT STOP MAKING POPULAR BOOTS NOT ALL WOMEN WANT FAST FASHION. Anyway, these boots are hard to destroy and I’m 225lbs with a wide foot! These are SEVEN YEARS OLD after hiking, working in all weather and terrain. They’re still going strong!!

Exactly what I needed
I’ve had a pair of Ariat paddock boots for about 20 years, and they still have plenty of life in them. However my foot size has changed over the years and I needed to go up a size. These boots are perfect for heavy duty yard work. They fit comfortably and look great, and as far as I can tell will last as long as my originals. I’m extremely happy with them. I want from size 9.5 to 10 and these are a tiny bit large but that allows me to wear them with thick socks which works well for my sensitive feet.

They are really comfortable but the leather did not last at all, it is completely falling apart. Maybe if you don't get them wet they will last longer. Still do not recommend.

Fell apart in less than 6 months
I absolutely loved these boots they were the most comfortable work/barn boots I ever purchased. But I have had them 6 months and they have fallen apart already! The leather is super soft and scratches easily and just disintegrated around the rubber sole. Not what I expected for the price I was hoping to get at least a year.

Excellent boots!
I am working in an equine veterinary clinic in New York and I have been wearing these every day. I’m on my feet all day, but I haven’t had any soreness or pain with them. They’re waterproof, which is great. They keep my feet warm and dry even when I’m in the snow for hours. I recently got stepped on by a horse, and these boots saved my toe. They are easy to clean and I like that they have a heel and a spur rest. They are very versatile.

Disappointed
My daughter gave me these for my birthday. I have had 2 other pairs over the years which I loved but this boot comes up higher around the ankle and rubs on my calf causing them to bleed right through my socks. They are also more difficult to put on my foot. I gave 2 stars because the foot bed is still very comfortable. Why did you have to change a good thing?

Most comfortable paddock boot I've ever worn.
This is the second pair of these I've purchased. They are the most comfortable paddock boot I've ever worn. There is a wonderful amount of cushioning, my feet are always warm and dry....even when I've been through mud and slop in the turnouts or manure pile!!! And they're definitely fine for riding too. Their foot bed shape is perfect for my wide foot.
