Great boot for me
These boots are working great for me as I go from ground work with young horses to riding. I wear them for many hours a day and I have no foot fatigue that I sometimes have with other boots. They did feel a little different when I first rode in them. They are a little challenging to put on but not bad.

Ascent Boots pretty good…
This is a comfortable boot which is really in spite of what I read from other folks, not hard to-pull on.
I have major foot-issues so even to find a sort of comfortable boot for my feet is difficult.
These boots fit the pretty good category.I would give them 5 stars but they are not quite that good and I have no idea-how they will hold up.They are a bit low in that not a huge toe box I need nylon stockings so 4 stars…

The boowere beautiful, and well made. Unfortunately i couldn't even get them on. I have returned them. I may try ordering half a size up, but it was very frustrating getting boots the same size as all of my other Ariat boots and nit even be able to get my foot past the neck of the boot. If it is necessary to order ½ a size up or more, that should be noted. However, if the sizing is the standard, maybe the neck of the boot needs a bit of a redesign so that they are not a struggle to put on.

Overall, great boots!
These paddock boots are super comfy, like riding sneakers. You can easily wear them all day! My only complaint is that since they aren't real leather, my feet get hot and sweaty in them. Some people have complained they are difficult to get on, but they have a loop in the back that helps to pull them on, and it's a very small price to pay for all day comfort. Would definitely recommend, this is my second pair.

Purchased these a few months back and they are super hard to put on! They remind me of something you would put on to scuba dive?? I only wear them occasionally because of the fit 😒. I only ride in Ariats and I know I wear a 9.5. ) I would suggest at least a 1/2 bigger. ) I paid a ton for them and they pretty much just sit there ☹️

Love these but over time they feel smaller
I bought these at a local tack store that will not let me exchange size. Bought the same size as my tall boots but over time became too small to wear comfortabley. Love the design but should have bought up a size.

Love these, but...
I originally purchased a pair of these boots and it took a few days to break them in to where they didn't give me blisters. After that, they were amazingly comfortable... but, very difficult to pull on. In less than a year, they were falling apart- the glue was coming undone. After writing a review, Ariat contacted me and ended up sending me a new pair. I was stoked! For whatever reason, the second pair went on easier and were instantly comfortable with no break in period. These boots are comfortable!.. but, I've now worn them for approximately 8 months and again, I can see that they are well on their way to falling apart again. The seams are beginning to come unglued, in the same places that the forest pair did and in about the same timeline. Water also seeps in through the seams. Such a disappointment because for me, they are so comfortable that these would always be my go to paddock boots if they lasted.

These are as comfortable as a sneaker!
I love these paddock boots! I can't say enough about them. They are comfortable and stylish. I walk my dog twice a day wearing these boots and no matter how wet the grass is, my feet are dry! They are great for riding, I have the half chaps that match.

Great fit!
This is my 2nd pair, i have had my other pair for over 2 years and love them! I wore them on the average 2 times a week out at barn and shows. I finally have started to notice wear in my older ones. I wear a 7.5 shoe and bought same for this boot. I dont think this boot is meant for people with a high arch or very wide foot. I would say my foot width is average or just a wee bit on the wide side. Will most definitely buy again!

Terrible Quality
I ordered these boots originally 2 years ago. They were advertised as waterproof so I used them for riding my horse and bathing him after our rides. Well, in about 9 months the boots had completely fallen apart. The sole detached and they were unusable. I left a review and contacted Ariat. They sent me a new pair which I really appreciated. Unfortunately not even a year later, the same exact issue happened AGAIN. Not to mention this time I used them only for riding purposes, no hosing or walking out to the paddock, and still the same issue. It is inexplicable to me and totally disappointing. The quality is disproportionate to the outrageous price. While I did think they were comfortable and liked riding in them, I can not afford to keep replacing expensive paddock boots multiple times throughout the year. I will not be purchasing these boots again.

Great paddock boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] True to size. Lightweight, very comfortable. No ties, zippers or buckle to mess with. They are different from every other paddock boot I have had, too a chance on them and it was well worth it. Love em!

I love them but they fell apart quickly
These are by far my favorite pair of paddock boots to date. SUPER light, extremely comfortable, easy to clean, great fit...but they fell a part within the first year of owning them :( I wish I could give them 5 stars! I would recommend, but be ready to buy often.

Not for me.
Ordered because my "go to" boot was out of stock. Very difficult to put on and take off (if the loop breaks off the back from my excessive tugging there will be no hope), not what I was expecting. I did like that they are fairly waterproof and will keep them to use when I have to give baths and/or trudge through the mud but will have to return to traditional paddock boots.

Not a fan of pull-on
I just got these because I can't wear normal boots due to a metal plate in my lower leg. It doesn't bother my leg, which is great, but I really hate the pull-on! On top of being a pain to get on, the fit isn't great and I can't do anything to adjust it. The upper side of the foot is too tight and then the back stretches away from my Achilles when I flex my heel. I really wish it had laces like a traditional paddock boot so I could adjust the fit. I don't have any other options, so I'm going to try half a size bigger to see if that fits the top of my foot better.

So disappointed
I bought these over a year ago but have been wearing them for just over 8 months. I really wanted to like them. For the first few days I had to wear a bandaid to protect my heal from getting a blister. They 'broke in' quickly and I was quite pleased at how comfortable they were - once they were on! They are VERY difficult to get on! If they had a zipper or more elastic that would have taken care of it. As it was, every day I struggled and it didn't get any easier. The final straw for me was the fact that they are coming apart!! The sole is coming off the shoe. It started in the rear, which made sense to me considering how hard I had to pull to get them on. But, it has now started happening everywhere on the shoe, even where there is no pressure from putting them on. The slightest amount of water seeps right in and I can't wear them anymore because it seems that any time soon they are going to come completely apart. i am disappointed because I do like the style, comfort and material of these shoes and had hoped I had found a good dependable paddock boot.

Runs very small
I was super excited to try these paddock boots as I have been a long time wearer of the V sport paddock boots that are discontinued. These boots are just as comfortable and even lighter than those… But they run very small and rather narrow. I am a trainer on my feet or on a horse in my boots 8+ hours a day. I am consistently a size 10 in all of my Ariat boots for over a decade, these fit quite narrow to my not wide at all feet. I ended up getting such a painful blister on both of my heels. They’ve been in the closet since. Very comfortable boot, but go up a size!

Won’t even last a year
Bought these boots with the hopes that they would be the quality and durability I was looking for. Wanted something I could ride in and wash my horse in. They seemed great at first, and comfortable, but not even a year later the soles are detaching and the leather is peeling off. My feet get soaked when any water hits them. Looks like I’ll be in the market for another pair of boots, not even a year later.

such a good product but massively disappointed
i brought these boots a few months ago and have loved everything about them however the quality is shocking for such an expensive boots. the soles of the boots have started peeling off and have become very uncomfortable. such a shame

Durable and comfortable
The boots are great for riding! Very comfortable and allows for good stirrup feel. Easy to wash and clean. The only things that I don't consider 5 stars are that they are kind of a pain to put on, really have to shove it in there. And they squeak...a lot. True to size.

Great Concept, Needs Improvement
I've worn Ariat boots for over 30 years and I wasn't impressed with these. They are very comfortable, true to size and easy to put on however, they started coming apart after just a few months of regular use. The sole was separating at the toe. I also found that these have no temperature regulation whatsoever. If it's hot out, my feet are hot. If it's cold out, they're cold. I like the concept but the design needs improvement.

Falling Apart
I have had these boots for 6 months and they are completely falling apart. The sole has come detached and the rubber on the heel is crumbling off. Very disappointed.

Versatile and Comfortable!
Bought these a few months ago and have since worn them nearly every single day to both work and the barn. They've been through mud, getting soaked in horse baths, and general barn use and they've held up amazingly. You do have to break them in, but once you've done so, they're incredibly comfortable. I work in a tack shop and will do feed, ride, hose off and then go straight from the barn to work without having to change shoes. They clean incredibly easily and I 100% recommend them to everyone who asks (and I've had a ton of people ask).

So disappointed.
While I love the look, I was leery that there was no zipper in front or behind. I could not get these boots on...no way. I noticed in your video that you zoooooom over the model "slipping" the boot on. How long did it take you to find someone that the boot fit? Please don't leave a standard response. If you really are sorry that this happened, please design the same boot with a zipper. I'm returning these. BTW, I have owned Ariat paddock boots, field boots and show boots for over 30 years with no problems. What happened?
