good boot for the cost
These are arrtractive boots, fit is excellent given the choices in sizing available … you didn’t go wrong. I found the footbed less that comfortable. I added orthotics which improve the comfort level but still not as nice as my old V-sports.

Beautiful Boot, but too Tall
I ordered these boots in a size 6, slim, regular, but the boot was too tall in the back and cut into the back of my knee. I was not convinced this wouldn't be a problem as they broke in, so I reluctantly returned them. Unfortunately, there are no shorter options for us petite equestrians other than buying custom-made boots. Having an option that was 1" shorter would be ideal.

Gorgeous boots
I have worn them a few times and are already breaking in nicely. Very comfortable. They are a little tall at the back (I ordered Tall) thinking they will slouch with time so there is a little pressure there but not bad at all. Much more comfortable than the Petrie boots I tried but I liked the very smooth look of the Petrie boots (although my riding son and non-riding husband liked the look of these Ariats better). Very happy with these boots, great quality, comfort and look.

Ariat changed sizing
I've bought a zillion pairs of ariat tall boots over the years. I always order the same size 7/medium/medium. I'm still wearing a pair from about 7 years ago Heritage Contour field boots, they are perfect. Last year I bought the updated Heritage II Contour and they've never gotten to the point where I can ride with the back of the knee button snapped without getting gouges in my skin. They fit perfectly otherwise... just the back snap is a bit tall and digs into my flesh when in the saddle. I tried buying this pair of dress boots and same issue. I'm sticking to my 7 year old ariats which are on their last leg (no pun intended) for now and ordering a short height to see if perhaps that will now fit vs what I've always worn. Getting frustrated my "go-to" brand might be done for.

My Go To Boot
I have been riding for over 25 years and I rarely rave about products but since I was a little girl I have worn Ariat and there is a reason why. My last pair of Ariat volants lasted me over 6 years of daily use! If you take care of them they are worth the investment and frankly in comparison to other more expensive brands they are nicer. I will forever give this company by business as long as they keep making quality product.

This boot has an odd shape. I am an average size and shape. I ordered my usual size nine regular tall. Couldn't zip up the ankle. Returned. Ordered full size. The foot is very tight, the ankle just zips up but right above the ankle the boot is too tight, then the calf of the leg is way too big. If you have narrow feet, very skinny ankles and especially above the ankle and very large calves then this boot will fit. Leather seems nice enough, boot is pretty except for weird shape. The tall is very tall and the ankles are so small that I doubt you'll get much drop.

LOVE them so far!!
So far I have only been wearing them for about a week but I love them already. I love that Ariat has made improvements to their boots to help hold the zippers up and to protect the back of the heel to help with rubbing as well as to make sure no fabric is caught in the zippers.
On just the second day using them they were already extremely comfortable and didn’t rub at all.

Beautiful & COMFY!
I've been showing since childhood, so this is my 1,000th pair of tall boots. Of all the brands, styles and sizes I've tried over the years, these are the ONLY dress boots I've had that I'm in love with. The leather is SO soft and broke in quickly. They are very elegant, I'm constantly getting compliments. I ride in them every day, and have been thrilled with how comfortable they are to ride and walk around in.

A great option for large, athletic calves
I have small feet and ankles but a large calf, which makes it extremely difficult for me to find an off-the-rack boot. I'm so happy the the x-wide fit! The quality is very nice, and they are ready to wear right out of the box. I especially appreciate the hidden elastic gusset at the knee, which keeps the boot from digging into the back of the leg. Like most other Ariat boots, the foot is very comfortable.

Good fit and comfortable
Although I haven't had a chance to ride in them yet because of the weather, I've test-worn them around the house. They are comfortable and fit well. I love the detailed style. The piece that overlaps the bottom of the zipper will help keep dirt out of the zipper. Just need to be sure to pull up the "heel tongue". My last pair of Ariat tall boots (Westchsters) lasted 6 years, hoping these will do the same. They are a bit pricey but seem to be comparable with other good quality tall boots.

Great fit and look!
I asked for these boots for Christmas. Based on my experience with a pair of Ariat paddock boots, I asked for a 1/2 size down from my normal size. They were just a little tight. Returned them and got my normal street shoe size. They fit perfectly!! So my experience is to just get your normal size. Don't size up or down.

I am 5’4” I bought the medium height slim fit. They are difficult to zip up and hit very high behind my knee which is exactly how they should be to start out! The foot bed is extremely comfortable for a riding boot and they will wear in perfectly. Love these boots!

Best No break-In Boot!
This is the third pair of Ariat boots I have purchased (the others plain wore out!) and they fit beautifully. There has been no break-in time necessary, the leather is soft, the zipper glides so easily. I am a very happy rider!

Amazing boots!
I just bought these and I am in love! I tried measuring myself and was scared but they ended up fitting perfectly. I have a slightly wider calf and I am 5’3”. I ended up going with my true size (8.5) and FS. I am still breaking them in and they haven’t dropped yet but they are already comfy and I love the style.
