I was excited to get these as I've had Ariat boots last me for ages.. These felt a bit off when they arrived, as though one was a bit tighter around the ankle than the other - I tried different socks, it didn't seem to matter. I don't usually have an issue like that with these types of boots, but I also couldn't see trying to break in something that was very off. The color was really nice, but the boot itself didn't work for me at all.

Beautiful and comfy but…
Really uncomfortable while riding. My fenders pass right over my shin, where the boot ends. This really starts to bruise and chafe after an hour in the saddle. :( Going to try thicker socks and a few more times, but I don’t see how this will be a viable boot for longer trail rides.

Other reviewers mentioned these run narrow, which happens to be perfect for me because of my narrow feet! I will say that the box of the shoe is narrow, but the back of the shoe seems to be a typical width. I bought these to replace my Noble Equestrian short boots, which have fallen apart time and time again. These are a little pricey, but they seem like a quality product that will stand up to at least a couple of years of everyday wear. I was a little worried that the outer material would become discolored in places after they get wet, but they dry really nicely and look like you just took them out of the box. Overall, these are really stylish and comfortable!

The look of the boot was very appealing and the comfort was amazing ,no soreness ,no blisters, slippers from day 1!

I just purchased these boots to replace my old Ariat terrains (8 years old!).
When getting work boots, it is always difficult because you never really know how they are going to work out until you actually wear them out.
Pros: Waterproof! First day out we had thunderstorms and all the mud. My feet stayed nice and dry!
Less bulky design. I can see how these would fit comfortably in the stirrup.
Cons: Sizing. I purchased a 9.5 as I am kind of in between a 9 and 9.5. Initially, they were snug and they do run a little narrow. However, they have stretched out nicely and I wish I had a size 9. From first try on I was doubtful they would work out as they were tight. After wear I would say they are true to size and unfortunately are a little big (foot slides a bit in the foot bed causing rubs).
Height. I do like that they are a little taller as it will come in handy in wet weather. However, it has left bruises/rubs on my shins. I am hopeful that as they break in, this will improve.
Comfort. As of right now, by the middle of the day my feet were tired.
I do wonder if they would have worked out better if I had gotten the half size smaller.
Will update as I wear them more!
Disclaimer: large animal vet tech - on my feet for 12+ hour shifts and hard on boots.

Love the boot but....
This boot fits me fine but I see why others complain that it runs narrow. I have found that wearing it around with boots socks has helped. Other than that, it’s fine and doesn’t rub anywhere. I have an older version of the same boot in the same size that always fit looser than this one. That’s the only complaint I would have. But mine are stretching and getting more comfortable all the time.

Disintegrated after two years
Bought them thinking they would last. The leather has come away from the sole. Replacing them with a pair half the price on the basis I can just buy a new pair if that don't last.
Not lasted as well as I would expect.

Very Narrow
I just received these in an 8.5, Super Snug with a thin Sock. So I'm exchanging for a 9. Super Easy Free Shipping return. I have other Ariat Boots & the are so Comfortable. Can't wait to try them out.

Very Narrow..
I Love Ariat Boots, I just received these & they are very Narrow . I would not be able to wear a thick sock. Exchanging for 1/2 size up. Otherwise I Love the look& style of the Boots. Can't wait to get My Exchange.

My New Go-to Barn/Outdoor Boot!
Easy-on, easy-off, yet secure, supportive fit. Wore them 8 hrs first day in complete comfort, w/o back pain. Ahhhhhhhh!
My old (discontinued) twin-gore waterproof slip-ons finally wore out after 5 years. So glad I found these... they're why we keep buying Ariats!

Super boots
Been mucking around in these for a couple of weeks now and love them. Good arch and ankle support, keep my feet warm and dry, and look good with jeans and leggings. The hills around here can be pretty slick in the rain and the traction of these souls has been solid. Would recommend for long walks through muddy fields and pastures.

East to pull on and they really are waterproof.
I’ve had these a few months now. I read the reviews about them being snug so I ordered 1/2 size up. I’m in the mud a lot with my dogs so it’s important that they keep my feet dry. And they’re really easy to get on and off.

unfortunately not for me
Before winter, I needed a new pair of waterproof boots for working in the paddock and barn. I did a ton of research, chose this pair and was very excited when they arrived. Great looking, sturdy -- just what I wanted. Unfortunately after wearing for 4-5 days, I could barely walk due to terrible stress on left achilles tendon, right knee began to ache as I compensated for the left leg pain. So so so disappointed. I was desperate for these boots. Now I have a lovely pair of very expensive boots that I cannot wear and cannot send back. Am glad, though, that this product does work for others. Just not a good fit for me. Now it's back to the old boots that still need to be replaced--can't afford to replace them now. All my saved pennies are spent on these.

Nice fit, Shadow color is not grey it’s green
The boots are awesome for fit and look - disappointed with the color, Shadow. Online it looks grey, but in real life, they are greenish. Prolly keeping them but will dye them black lol.

Breaks in Perfect!
I got these and thought they were to small and narrow. They must come that way so they break in and mold to your foot. That way they don’t get to loose and fall off. I love them!

Good boots
Bought a pair last year. Good work boots, comfy, keep me warm. Easy to get in and out of. Only thing I don't like is the design, they're not too attractive. That's why I have a pair of Wexfords and another one on the way.

Nice boots !
I have purchased many styles of Ariat boots over the years. Just recieved these yesterday. When i first put them on they were stiff , tight, heavy & bit "clunky" ! I am so glad i gave them a chance. After wearing them today they broke in & i just love them !!! While being "out & about" i got many compliments !

Great Pull On Work Boot
I am a horse vet and was looking for a pull on boot that could be used rain or shine. These boots fit the bill and look stylish enough that they can be work to run errands between calls. Only negative is they are a bit snug but work well enough that I still wear them everyday. I have had them almost a year.

Too narrow!
I got these last winter and wore them well into late spring. I consider myself to have a regular width foot and I've never had issues with the numerous Ariat shoes I've worn over the years. However, these boots started out quite narrow and I could not break them in. They even gave me a significant wound on one of my pinky toes, more than just a blister. I had to take a break from wearing them and went back to try to break them in again. Alas, it never happened. The boot material is great and they really are waterproof and have stood up to the wet winter and spring we have in the pnw but the leather will not budge. They are practically as snug as the day I got them. Not sure if I'll be able to handle them this winter!

Love!
Needed new muck boots that were all around, water proof (I have to cross our creek daily while letting horses in/out) able to be muck boots and keep my feet toasty in bitter winter temps. These boots check all the boxes!!! Would recommend these for anyone. The fit is great, true to size....if ur on the fence get off now you’ve found your boot☺️

Solid Boot

Great outdoor boot
Had these for several months now in the grey colour. Look lovely and have worn with shorts during summer months. They are very snug and don't think going up a size will alter the snugness feel. However have worn all day and no issues. I ride in them as well.

Like them, don’t love them.
Cute boots with a great insoles but require some breaking in. They are very good quality. I bought for something easy to slip into that I could wear for hours. They run a little small so they are requiring some breaking in and it’s not quite there yet. I hope they get better!

Comfortable barn boot
I bought the gray boots to replace my everyday barn boots that died. They are really pretty but I was a little nervous about the width based on others reviews but I didn't have any issue. I don't have narrow feet so I may have just gotten lucky. I wear them for a couple hours a day and haven't really had any issues. Hopefully they will last longer then the 1.5 years that my other boots did.
