Great
I highly recommend this boots . I were them 6 day a week for at least 9 hours and I don't have any discomfort. They are just perfect for 3 seasons but for cold winter with snow I prefer tall isolated boots. Usually a pair of boots last me for 2 or 3 years and with the time the aspect surely deteriorate but the comfort increases making very difficult the separation. For me Ariat is my first choice when it comes to riding boots!

Very comfortable took a little longer to break in than other boots but they are extremely comfy. They do run a little big so maybe go half a size down.

very disappointed
I started wearing Ariats about 23 years ago, usually a paddock style for everyday and work outside. The first pair I bought, I put on at the store and walked out the door and all over San Francisco, no problems, ever. Since then I have bought other pairs, and they have been my primary shoe. Over the years I have noticed a decline in leather quality, to where it was stiffer. Finally this year, I have ordered three different pairs, of similar style and had to send every one back- stiff leather, but worse, the footbed sizing must have change to where the tiny bit if extra room across the ball of the foot and small toes is much narrower. I compared them to my current pair, even, and saw this was not just my imagination. So, I am done with Ariat. I live too far from a store that carries them to try on even more styles, so I have to order on line. Sorry to see such a negative change.

Lower Quality Than Previous Ariat Boots
They took a little longer to break in than I'm used to then were fine for a while but then the stitching started coming out of the toes on both of them. I've always bought Ariats for my paddock boots and I usually get about a year out of them but these didn't make it that long.

The same great boots after 10 years
I've been wearing the Ariat Heritage paddock boots for at least 10 years now and each new generation just gets better. They are by far the most comfortable paddock boots to wear all day at the barn, and I do a LOT of walking in them. I don't plan on ever wearing a different paddock boot!

Awesome boots built to last!
This is my third pair of these boots in tie up and zipper. I always go to Ariat because not only is the boot good looking, but they wear forever. I use them for riding and showing.

Superb paddock boots at a fair price
These are GREAT paddock boots at a reasonable price. I have had the same pair of paddock boots for 15 years (yes!) by Ariat. I rode on and off during this time. After nearly a year of riding consistently, they finally gave out on me.
Ariat doesn't make that old style anymore so I went with these. They arrived quickly (within 3 days) and I immediately noticed how well made they were when I took them out of the box. They are comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box, easy to lace up, and get on. I typically wear a size 10 but ordered an 11 in these. I think I could have gone with a 10.5 but that wasn't an option. I wear thick boot socks so it worked out fine.
Really happy with how these fit during my ride and the stability they give me. I would definitely repurchase!

Comfort for Wide Feet
I've always purchased a B width until this year I figured out that my feet have changed, and now I need a C width. Not only is this boot well made and comfortable, but the wide width is a life saver!

Super Comfortable
I just started riding again so I needed some new boots because the last time I rode was 10 years ago. These boots were great then and they're great now. I pair these with some chaps and it's super comfortable. I like the lace-up style because I can change how tight I want the fit. Great shoe overall.

Love these boots
I bought my pair of Ariat Paddock boots five years ago and am still wearing them. They look great. I have lower back disc problems and my back always feels better when I wear these boots. I just wish they made them in brown for the wide width. I would love to have a pair in each color.

The worst boots I’ve ever owned
Have not broken in even after hours in the saddle. Have always owned Ariats and thought I could get away with the Heritages vs the Performers but I was so wrong! The break in time for these boots has been unreal and I simply can’t ride in them because they have poor support and cut off my circulation. They are definitely my correct size and wouldn’t need any size larger. If you’re used to better quality and need the support, do not waste your money!

Quality boots
I bought these Heritage IV boots to replace my Heritage III that are wearing out after 4 years of hard use. I bought my regular size with confidence. They are a little stiff at the first wearing but I am confident that they will break in quickly.

Great boot

Excellent boots. Ordered mine about a year ago so I have waited to write a review. First let me say how pleased I am for those of us with wide feet that we can order our true size and not live in agony. Held up extremely well, little wear to soles. Lacing great. Been in mud, rain, GGT, dry. All conditions. Will order another pair most definitely.

Comfortable boot.
The boot is comfortable and seems to be decently made. What I really dislike about this boot is the tread on the heel and the type of tread in general. It really picks up dirt/mud/muck. I have to leave these outside on my porch when I come home from the barn b/c of all the stuff that the tread picks up, not to mention they sort of keep the urine smell if you've been mucking. They're ok boots, but certainly not the best that Ariat has ever turned out. I've had these boots for about 6 months now (didn't get them from SP since they were a gift) and they're holding up pretty well. The tongue on one of them keeps turning to the side no matter what I do. Overall, they're good boots but certainly not my favorite pair.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS!
I bought these boots about a month ago and now I want to replace all my boots with Ariat boots! I love that when I'm wearing them I have the distinct feeling that I'm wearing quality boots. The bottoms provide great grip, so no fear of slipping on slick surfaces. Also, the inside is comfortable and provides support. I would absolutely buy these again, but from the quality and workmanship, I can tell that I won't need to for quite some time. Thank you, Ariat!

2nd and last pair of Ariat paddock boots
I loved my first pair of Ariat lace-ups -- the fit perfect right away, withstood my first year and a half of horsebackriding, walking in circles for pony rides, and all kinds of New England weather.. right up until the stitching finally gave out. So I replaced them with what I thought was a second pair on sale at a local equestrian shop -- so much less comfortable. Been wearing them for 5 months and not only is the sole peeling off the toe, but I have a terrible blister on my heel from my last pony ride event. If this is Ariat's idea of an update, I'm out.

Best riding and barn boots!
I have owned the variation of these boots for over twelve years! I absolutely love them. They were my first pair of paddock boots and have grown with me throughout the years. Perfect for just starting or practicing for advanced riding too. So comfortable I would wear them all the time if society didn't give me funny looks in them. I always order a half size down and never have a problem wearing winter socks in them. I wear them for a year or two then buy another pair when people start to complain they look too worn out.

Comfortable Boot - Almost Perfect
This is my 4th pair of Ariat Boots. They are my main walking boot and are comfortable for all day use. There are only two things I would like to see changed: 1) the laces are very strong but you need to tie them tight or they loosen up; 2) where the tongue meets the boot can be uncomfortable if it doesn't sit just right. Wearing heavier socks and pulling up on the tongue help this.

Finally a boot that fits my wide foot!
I've been riding my entire life, and it wasn't until recently that I've been able to find wide width boots that fit my foot properly! I used to have to order a size- size and a half up, just to get my wide foot base into a boot. Now I can order my actual shoe size and have ample room for my wide foot!
These boots are doing double duty for me! They will be my daily riding boots, but in addition to that, they'll be my footwear of choice for my farm wedding next month!

A solid boot
I was looking for a solid lace-up boot as I reenter riding (and, admittedly, to double as a fashion item), and this boot perfectly fits the bill. Be careful of fit: one of my feet is slightly larger than the other, and I developed a blister on that heel when breaking in. The other boot fit perfectly, and even with brand-new boots and walking quite far in one day, no blisters there! So if the boot fits you well, you won't have blisters even before they are broken in. The boot is a full leather upper and rubber sole, but the tongue seems to be synthetic. These aren't drawbacks, but may influence what you are looking for. All in all, another win from Ariat!

Comfortable boot
This is a replacement boot for my old Ariat Heritage boots. I put them on and once again I felt like they will break in easily. They were exactly what I expected from Ariat. I can't say how these will wear as I have not had them long enough to say, but from my last four pairs of Ariat boots, I expect them to clean up and wear nicely.
