My Go To Tall Boots!
The Ariat Heritage Contour II Field Zip are my go to tall boots! Not only are they reasonably priced, but my most recent pair has lasted me over 5 years. The leather is very supple, making the break in process quick and not as painful. I have worn mine over the past 5 years for both schooling and showing, so they're clearly made to last. The quality cannot be beat for the price point!

Beautiful boot, didn't last
I do not even think ive had these boots for a year and the calf and shin parts have holes in them. I understand wear on your inner calf since thats whats rubbing against the saddle but how does the front part of my shin have a hole, in a little over a year. The fit and style are great and the leather is very soft but unfortunately they just did not hold up at all. Really loved them while they lasted. I only ride 2-3x a week. Don't get them wet and am great about cleaning them.

Comfy and durable
Very comfortable for walking and riding. The leather is soft but still durable. I've been riding in them 5 days a week for several months and they still look almost new. In my opinion, the heritage boots are the best deal you can find.

Great looking and great fitting field boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had absolutely no break in time with these boots. I purchased them to replace my original Heritage Contour field boots that were 15 years old. I ordered the same size as my original boots (7ST) and they fit like a glove. The elastic gusset is a great improvement to this style which I believe eliminated the break in time.

Loved them at first...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always purchased Ariat boots and sadly these have been the worst pair I have ever had. I ride 3 days a week and have an older gelding so it's light flat work only. Just a few months after I purchased the boots, the right boot split across the toe seam. It was somewhat minor at first, but quickly grew. Then a few months after that, the exact same thing occurred in the left boot. They were really comfortable boots and looked/fit great for the price, but I definitely didn't get my money's worth.

Comfortable, durable boots for schooling and shows

Best boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my second pair of these boots, same size and height, 9 tall regular. The last ones lasted nearly 10 years of consistent daily riding! I am tall with long legs and these are the only boots off the shelf that are tall enough AND comfortable for my normal-human ankles. The footbed is also so comfortable. Love them.

falling apart after 9 months!
These were great until about month 9 when the front toe is separating from the bottom of the boot. For the price they should last much longer than this!

Broken snap
Overall these are really nice boots, they broke in wonderfully and are super comfortable. I have had them for about 6 months and the snap at the top of the zipper just broke off while I was riding, I believe that I can get it fixed and do not have to buy a new pair however it’s a bit annoying. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but overall these are great boots!

Disappointed in the fit.
I ordered these boots in a size 11 foot and an extra wide calf. They were beautiful. But unfortunately when the designers sized up the foot and the calf, they failed to increase the size of the ankle accordingly. They fit my foot great. They would have fit my calf fine, but I couldn't get the zipper past the "ultra contoured ankle" to zip them up at all. My ankle is 10" in circumference, which is not abnormally big for someone with a size 11 foot and 5'9" height. A friend with similar height and calf size has the same ankle size. I hope that Ariat can fix this so that people who don't have model thin ankles can buy their boots, too.

Incredible fit
I would have given boots a 5 as I bought a second pair because I love the fit and comfort.
However, after less than 5 months, the rubber heels are wearing down unevenly.
I ride almost everyday. I didn't expect this in a 5 month period.

Loved these for a year!
I got these boots in April/May of 2022. They are super comfortable and broke in quickly. I was really happy with them. I ride about 3-4 days a week, sometimes one horse sometimes two horses. I take my boots off after riding and don’t walk in them around the barn or elsewhere. After just over a year there is a large crack across the toe of my right boot. The lace is broken also, which isn’t a big deal, but again, longevity in general is a concern. So while these boots are comfortable and nice for a short time, I can’t afford to have to replace them once a year. I’ll be replacing them with a different brand, which is a shame because I’ve loved Ariat for 25 years. Now it’s time to find another brand to love.

Fell apart after less than two years
I bought these in summer of 2021. They didn't last two entire years, and busted a hole in the calf. I reached out to their customer service (Ariat) and they said their boots have a one-year warrantee, which was disappointing. I'm just a hobby rider, but you would expect a more concerned response when such a pricey product falls apart before two years of regular use. These replaced a pair of Ariat paddock boots whose heel FELL OFF after about two years. I should have known then to find a different brand. I suggest purchasing with the knowledge that the quality isn't what it once was. I for one will no longer be an Ariat customer.

Huge disappointment
I loved my first pair of boots so much that when they needed to be replaced I didn't hesitate to purchase the same style again. They have been a huge disappointment from the start. They were easy enough to break in, but they pinched and rubbed in some spots and were too loose in others. The first zipper busted after a few months, and now the other zipper broke as well. I replaced the laces twice on each boot, and don't get me started on how hard it can be to find replacement laces. The leather cracked even though I kept up with cleaning and conditioning. Granted, it has been 2 years, but my first pair lasted 5 years (I even started wearing them again since the new pair have been unusable.) I love Ariat, but I won't be purchasing this style again.

Weird sizing, try on in person

Unfortunately, despite following their measurement guide, the foot ran large and the calf sizing was either too tight to zip up, or way too loose. I’m usually someone who can buy stuff right off the rack and have it fit perfectly, so I’m disappointed these didn’t work out despite trying multiple sizes. Other than the sizing issues they appear to be beautiful yet durable boots

Tall Boots to Last
Kept up with me in my eventing days, and even beyond that. The leather is amazing. Basic maintenance, I mean saddle soap and conditioner before they go back in the boot bag, and these have lasted me 7+ years… and they’re STILL in great shape. I don’t wear them to muck or kick around the barn, but I swap into a pair of Women’s Rebars after I ride. 10/10, recommend Heritage to all my riders.

Beautiful boot but tricky fit
beautiful quality and style. Fit was a challenge as the slim calf fit but boot was a little too snug around the ankle and very top so I can only wear thin leggings with them.The larger calf size was way too large tho.
