Heritage wins- tall,paddock or barn great boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When shopping for boots, Ariat fit and comfort combined is why we keep coming back. These Heritage Tall are made so well, they will last as long as our other paddocks we have from Ariat.
The comfort in the toe bed for a slightly wide foot works great as well! Doesn’t hurt we took home 3 blue first place ribbons on our first completion ride in them! :) lucky boots

Perfect boot!

I used leather conditioner on them and put them in the sun for a few hours when I first got them. Wore for the first time this weekend and they were super comfy and soft for being brand new.

Gorgeous brown field boots, extremely comfy!
I am in LOVE with my new field boots in brown! Like butter when I put them on and only took about 5 rides to break in. swapped the laces for navy blue ones and it really makes the brown boots pop! They are so comfortable I even forget I'm wearing them! Thanks Ariat for making a gorgeous boot that I could buy off the shelf that fits like it's custom made for short little old me!

Really wanted these to work…
I have the kinsley tall boot and loved it immediately out of the box for comfort, fit and look. I ordered this boot in same size specs to have a brown tall boot. Disappointed in the cardboard inserts that kept snagging the zipper and made it very difficult to get the zipper down. (The other tall boots from Ariat had nice plastic ones). The fit was off compared to Kinsleys and the leather quality seemed less impressive too. Returned them.

The best boots ever
I bought these boots 3-4 years ago and they are still in perfect condition. I ride 1-2 horses a day 6-7 days a week and they have healed up! I highly recommend

I am disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these boots last August, and absolutely loved the fit. I have wide feet and full calves, and all other tall boots I tried were uncomfortable and hard to break in. These boots were a fair price for the quality and looks!
However, after 5 months of consistent wear (usually 1 horse a day, 5x a week) the leather inside the calves wore down and two holes formed. I am disappointed in this product because they were unable to hold up for even a year with lots of care.
I gave them 3 stars considering they fit like a glove, but couldn’t hold up well.

I think for the price these are nice field boots. My only problem is how baggy they are in my ankles. I have extremely thin ankles and these are fairly bagger. They fit lovely everywhere else and run to to size. Almost no break in period. I rode in them 5 times now and they are extremely comfortable.

Loved the boots for the first few months
I loved the boots when I first got them. Since then, both laces have snapped a few times, and the zipper is broken on one side. For how expensive these were, I would have hoped they lasted longer.

Nice leather, comfy but don’t last
I’ve had these boots for about 18 months. I have two horses and ride, on average, 3 days a week. I change from street shoes before and after riding and are not hard on boots. These boots started showing significant wear after less than a year and now need to be replaced. Please see the pictures! The soles have barely any wear, zippers and calf are fine but the foot has cracks and tears on both boots. These boots were initially great, easy to break in and very comfortable, but the durability is just awful.

My Go To Tall Boots!
The Ariat Heritage Contour II Field Zip are my go to tall boots! Not only are they reasonably priced, but my most recent pair has lasted me over 5 years. The leather is very supple, making the break in process quick and not as painful. I have worn mine over the past 5 years for both schooling and showing, so they're clearly made to last. The quality cannot be beat for the price point!

Beautiful boot, didn't last
I do not even think ive had these boots for a year and the calf and shin parts have holes in them. I understand wear on your inner calf since thats whats rubbing against the saddle but how does the front part of my shin have a hole, in a little over a year. The fit and style are great and the leather is very soft but unfortunately they just did not hold up at all. Really loved them while they lasted. I only ride 2-3x a week. Don't get them wet and am great about cleaning them.

Great looking and great fitting field boot

I ordered the same size as my original boots (7ST) and they fit like a glove. The elastic gusset is a great improvement to this style which I believe eliminated the break in time.

Loved them at first...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always purchased Ariat boots and sadly these have been the worst pair I have ever had. I ride 3 days a week and have an older gelding so it's light flat work only. Just a few months after I purchased the boots, the right boot split across the toe seam. It was somewhat minor at first, but quickly grew. Then a few months after that, the exact same thing occurred in the left boot. They were really comfortable boots and looked/fit great for the price, but I definitely didn't get my money's worth.

Best boots

I am tall with long legs and these are the only boots off the shelf that are tall enough AND comfortable for my normal-human ankles. The footbed is also so comfortable. Love them.
