Very Disappointed
I should note that I’m an Ariat fan; however, this “denim” breech needs serious improvement. I bought a size 22 and wore it once. But never again!
I’m 5’6”/112lbs; my breech size is 24 and jean size 25/26. The denim breech not only runs large but it’s disproportionately designed. The waist has no shape, it’s straight. Additionally, there is extra fabric throughout the pants making them very uncomfortable for riding specially with tall boots. Because they’re particularly loose in the knees and lower legs, the fabric gathered in the back of my knees and inside my boots, forming painful folds and, in turn, leaving long lasting red marks in these areas.

I would have liked these with a regular ankle hem rather than the cuff. It doesn’t keep them down, and makes them look odd to wear out as jeans. They fit ok, but the pockets aren’t deep enough to hold a phone without the risk of it falling out.

Grip not the same as the Blue Denim Halo
I purchased these breeches because I have them in the blue denim. The blue denim full seat breeches are my favorite barn breeches and have a great grip to the full seat. I decided to order the black, when they arrived I washed them in cold water and line dried, and the rode in them. I was extremely disappointed to find the full seat grip was much less than the blue denim ones. I will not be riding in these again. The fit of the breech is still great as are my prior blue ones. The rubber black full seat grip is not the same at all. I can't recommend these.

Full seat not grippy.
I purchased the Halo B Full Seat Breech in Black recently. I own the blue denim Halo B and it is my favorite breech, so I ordered the Black also. I rode in the Black breeches and the full seat is barely grippy, nothing like the blue denim. I was so disappointed. The full seat pattern is the same, but the grip is not. The fit of the breeches was the same. I will not ride in these breeches again.

Great product but runs small

Love them

Fits like a dream!
I have been on a great jean breech search for a few years. These breeches are fantastic fitting and look great! After Good Rider discontinued the jean breech without the low back pockets I been trying every brand of denim jean. These Ariat jean breeches appear to a very well made quality breech. I usually get a 30 in Ariat breeches but, after reading the reviews I took a chance and ordered my regular size 28 R. They are a good fit and just a bit bigger in the hips and butt than my side 30 regular Ariat breeches. I’m hoping they will shrink a tiny bit when washed, otherwise these breeches are perfect!

Finally denim full seat that works
I love Ariat eos full seat and wanted a similar product in denim and these do not disappoint. Stretchy and comfortable for riding but tough and good looking. Full seat is helpful when working my younger mare.

Horrible Fit
These pants are a horrible fit. I bought a size 24 (for reference I am 115lb and 24-25 is my regular pant size). They were comically big in the waist and front crotch area and extremely tight in the knee/calf to the point that bending my knee was uncomfortable. I tried sitting in them and they had a pooch in the front seat area. Also, the material is more heavy/constrictive than I thought it would be. Overall, these pants are unflattering and uncomfortable.

Look great on!
So far so good. Great for someone who is built like a rectangle. I have no booty and these are great, though I think they’d have a great stretch for someone with more junk in the trunk. Love the way they look on and the grip is just grippy enough without making you stick to everything like some full seats do.

Love the design! BUT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of these demim breeches is long over due in the Equine world, seems a lot of products for equestrian fashion are super dated and lack moden style, but these change that. They are super cute, have nice stretch and very modern style. I love how long the inseam is and the wide waistband. Unfortunately after using them all summer for riding the sticky material on the full seat has rubbed off in all the important contact spots for the saddle areas. I have never dried them in a dryer, only washed them sparingly and only hung to dry. Also, the inside of the front right pocket tore.

Love the look
I have to agree with one of the reviews as far as being surprisingly small. I ordered the size recommended even though some reviews said they were a bit on big side. They were way off. I felt the same way thinking the label was wrong. Must be inconsistent cuts. I’m giving it a go with a size up. We’ll see. I do love the look and feel. Fingers crossed.

Fits well for those with a big booty and regular is long enough for 5’8 legs. Enough stretch for everything you have to do in the barn. Just enough grip to give you snug confidence in the saddle!

Stretchy but way too big in the waist
Love how stretchy they are, but waist is too big.
My measurements are 75 cm waist and 100cm thighs, which puts me at size 28 if not 30. I went with 26 as other reviews suggested and they fit great in the thighs and below but waist has at least a couple of inches of extra room.
I still love them and will wear with a belt but I'm not going to order a second pair as I hoped to.

I have trouble understanding the thinking behind breeches design. At least so far I have found the top proportions to be larger than they should (unless they are just plain old accommodating obese stomachs) and the legs, knees, calves are squeezing the blood out! This does not make sense because an average Equestrian will develop their legs and calves more than not! We really should not have toothpick legs.
The Halo otherwise is nicely made. Love the color, artful stitching, design. Pockets are not very ample though. Could at least be deeper in front.
I had to go with the 28 over the 30 so that the top would not bag to look like mom jeans, nor the waist band stick out 2 inches. Wow, the legs are snug! Can I hurt my circulation?
I am 5'5, 134lbs, normal thin calves.

Must be labeled wrong….
I’m mystified by other reviewers stating these run large. I am a solid 28/30 in every other brand of full seats & there was no way I could even get these buttoned by 2”. The pair I received must be mislabeled (or I’m having a excessively bloated day!!) bc they were so incredibly tight everywhere. Felt like compression stockings!
Otherwise, the Halo is just perfect to look at! My Goode Rider denim breeches can’t hold a candle to the quality of these! I am exchanging & sizing UP.

Perfect denim breeches!
I've had my eye on these for a while, finally decided to give them a try, and so happy I did. They are fantastic! They are super comfortable, the rise stretch and stickiness is just right, and they are so cute! I bought my regular size and also a size down because so many reviews said they run large, but I didn't find that to be the case. My regular size fit great.

Comfortable, flattering, stylish for casual wear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love them. The denim fabric is as described, it's a little bit faded black. Good stretch, high waist, but not too high (although I am tall). The waist has decent stretch as well and doesn't dig in (thank you Ariat!) (I'm not built like an apple to refer to previous reviewer, but I'm not curvy and no hips) The length is good although I wish they came in longs.
The front and back pockets are nice. No bagging. I actually wish the bottom hem was more like a jeans hem because these easily can be worn outside of riding, and stylish enough for a night out. Tall boots would cover that though.
