Super warm and rugged
Just finishing my 3rd winter wearing a pair of these, and they are great. I wear them primarily for stable work, indoors and out, and my fitness app tells me i walk between 8 and 12 miles in them daily- they hold up really well, my feet didn't get cold or wet all winter. ( in Massachusetts) Because they are insulated, they are a little stiff in the ankle for riding. Like the other pro-style Ariat boots, they may seem pricey, but I've gotten 3 seasons out of mine, and expect to get at least one more, so they are a good investment.

Very comfortable
This is my third pair and I have loved them all but they all split along the sole. They have added rubber to that area so I am excited to see how they hold up!

Warm and dry and comfortable
Perfect boots for muddy and wet conditions. I normally wear an 81/2 but other reviews said they run small so ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly

Light and sturdy
Bought these for winter riding. First time wearing it was 10 degrees and wore two medium socks. Happy to say my foot wasn’t squeezed and more happy that after two hours my feet were still tolerably comfortable ( not toasty but was not expecting that). I like how light they are and decent tread (not great traction in slick spots). Overall I would recommend to those who get cold fast and hate riding with numb toes. These seem very well constructed so anticipating longevity. Can’t comment yet on waterproof property but expect fine performance.

I LoveThese Boots
Wore mine for 9 years before they gave out and I wear them all winter all the time. They are my go to boot when it gets too cold for sandals. Comfortable and supportive. I, also, wear them to ride in!

Love these boots
This is my third pair of these boots over an 11 year period. They are the only boot i've ever worn that REALLY keep my feet warm, even in zero type temps, and the waterproofing is excellent! I have to give a virtual high 5 to the previous smartpak reviewers who alerted me to the need to size up. I would've just ordered the size i had before, and they would've been too small. I sized up a half size and they are perfect.

Waterproof
I love these shoes I wear them all the time. My favorite for long walking, riding barn chores etc...I have an average foot and I love the support. No insoles needed.I even took them to be polish by the cobbler because I want them to last forever. Bought a second pair and they haven't worn out yet. I like the dip in the achilles tendon they don't rub on my ankle.

Look forward to wearing these but out of my size!
I purchased my usual size and it was a bit tight so I needed to exchange for a size larger. Problem is, Ariat is out of size 8.5 for the season!!!!!! I ordered a 9 in hopes that with thick socks I will be able to wear them!

Warm, comfy paddock boots for winter
Haven't ridden in them yet. Only thing I don't care for is my Ariat half chaps don't zip all the way down.

Wonderful features
I just bought these boots a month ago. It has been a very cold and rainey winter. I love how warm these boots are and I can get out in the weather and not worry about getting my feety wet. These are the best boots. Easy to clean. When I am done with the horses, I just rinse off and I am ready to go.

runs small ...
Bought this boot last year - ran very small, took months to break in to comfortable. Ordered a half size up this year - at least I could wear without "rubs" or discomfort this time.
Have bought ARIAT for many years, and never needed to size up.
Suspect the rationale being the "insulating" component. Absolutely need to keep this SIZING UP factor in mind on this particular boot

These boots are very warm and seem good regarding the waterproof aspects. But they run a bit snug all around the foot; especially from top to bottom. I think it's due to the insulation in the boot. If I could do it over, I would order them in a half size larger than my normal size for Ariat boots. After wearing them all day the inner padding does soften up and the fit isn't so tight. I'm thinking as they break in a bit more they will not fit so snug when I first put them on.

Great But Not Right For Me
Excellent quality, beautiful boots but I have high arches and could not put them on so I had to return them, oh well on to my next pair of Ariat boots.

Yes great paddock boots!
Arrived in time alloted. Just a little comment. The leather by the heal is tough. How can I soften it?? Any ideas?

Love these boots!
These are warm, waterproof, and durable. I buy a pair every couple of years, and wear them all winter. Don't wear them in the summer, they are too hot!

runs small
I have had many of this winter Ariat boots - but this one seems to run exceptionally small, both in the toe box and the ankle. I am bearing with the "rubs" for this boot during regular wear.
The additional rubber sole (wrap up to sides) may be helpful in preventing the "blow outs" that can come from wearing these regularly for paddock and barn work.

Very nuce boots!
These are quality boots, like all Ariat boots are. I bought a half size bigger based upon suggestions of other reviewers and felt that they slipped...probably my regular size would have been fine. They are warm, comfortable, but VERY stiff where they meet your shin. I returned for the tall boots, which I absolutely love!!

Favorite all weather boot
I bought these boots a month ago. I use them for barn work and riding. The boots are warm and water proof.
They are comfortable and very easy to take on and off.
We own a farm so there is a lot of work to do. They are fast becoming my favorite boot ..on and off my horses.
Good quality and well constructed. The seams are well covered which makes the boots truly water proof. I highly recomend this boot.

Comfort !
I bought these 3 weeks ago, I have a farm & a landscape company sooo I walk a lot. Very comfortable warm boots. With all that Ariat support we know & love. I'm traveling to Tennessee in a few weeks & these are the only shoes I'll need. They even look nice with your best jeans!

Warmest boot I've ever had
I had the old bromont paddock boot for about 10 years and finally had to retire them. This newer version is absolutely the warmest boot I've ever owned. I wear an 8 and I can't wear them with really thick socks so if you're unsure, go up a half a size. I wear these boots to the barn (for riding and chores), hiking the dog, snowshoeing and to and from skiing. Excellent product.

Narrow and not sized like Terrains!
I normally wear an 8 1/2 to 9 M in the Ariat Terrain boots, no problem, but took the recommendation to size up because I have a wider front foot and high arch and ordered the 9 1/2, but I still felt as if my circulation would be cut off with any time in this boot at all. Also, as noted on another review, there is no room in the toe box! Nice looking boot, but sadly, they were returned. Thank goodness for Smartpak's free returns!

Bought these in preparation for the colder months. I can already tell, after wearing them a few times, I might've actually found a boot that keeps my feet warm.

Size up
Quality is there. Love Ariat products. This show had no room in tow box. Unlike other Ariat shoes I've owned. Ex: Roper lace up. Maybe because of the thinsulate for extra warmth in colder temps. Sadly returning. Chose a different show this time. Wasn't going to play the return game on an unsure deal. If narrow foot you should be fine. Mine is a regular M/B

Last Forever!
I have been wearing these boots basically all day everyday, in my everyday activities, like riding, cleaning barn, walking through mud, puddles of water, dust, snow, ice, going to town, events, hiking, etc, for the past 2 years, and they still look bran new!! The support in these boots are amazing! They are my go to pair for everything!!
